Randa rocks! She is a perfectionist and the most talented stylist and colorist! I’ve been trusting her with my locks for over a year and I’m always pleased by her great customer service and flawless execution.

My favorite hair dresser of all time (Edward also goes by Udi), now works here. He’s amazing with cuts and color. Especially balayage! He won’t let anyone leave with bad hair and he’ll be honest If your idea just won’t go with your face. I didn’t trust anyone with my hair until I started going to Edward. And now all of my girlfriends go to him because my hair is testament! This salon has a very chic vibe with pretty wine glasses and good lounge music, and my hairdresser is now here– win win!

Finally, everything I ever could want in a Salon! Derek made me feel like a celebrity. He knew exactly the hair cut that my face needed! First, compliment, when I came back to work someone asked if I had, lost weight; now that’s a great haircut! My color was done by Randa, also a talented hairdresser! By far the best color I have ever had! I went in thinking I need more, and she did it with less! LOVE THIS PLACE! Worth every penny!

Excellent service! Front desk staff is professional and accommodating. Beautiful facility and Derek is definitely an artist and architect when it comes to hair. My Asian hair and head shape is pretty difficult for most hairstylists. He was able to feel and assess things to match the appropriate style to my personality. My wife mentioned it’s the best haircut she’s seen in a very long time.

Lacy Alejandro is the BEST! Lacy has been gracing my locks for more than 8 years now and I don’t plan to ever have it any other way! Her technique keeps my blonde hair healthy and beautiful. Even after moving to Houston, I continue to come up to Dallas to see her. I wouldn’t put my hair in the hands of anyone else! Thank you Lacy! I’m so glad I sat down in your chair years ago. :)
Lacy also styled the bridal party’s hair for a wedding I was in a couple of months ago and rocked it! We all looked gorgeous and loved our hair! Thanks again for being awesome Lacy!

When I stick with a hairdresser, as I have with Derek for 7 years, it means that I trust him to give me what I want and need, and to work with me to figure that out if I’m unsure.
In my case, having been a model for many years, a flattering, versatile cut with great movement has been paramount for me. My hair also grows very slowly, so I know I have to live with whatever cut I get for a good while. So chop-​happy hands are a sure deal-​breaker! I don’t ever worry about this with Derek. :)
Seeing Derek’s expertise and esthetic come to full manifestation in a luxury salon of his own design – one that’s modern and sleek yet comfortable and fun – has been a beautiful thing. I would trust anyone on his team to take just as good care of me as he always has.

Kristie Luv has been doing my hair for years and ALWAYS does a fabulous job! I have yet to find anyone else that does as good of a job doing blonde color and I have visited several high end salons in Dallas and Houston. I also have fine hair and she has never gotten scissor happy or butchered it in any way… My cuts always look fabulous and give my hair so much body. I have also used her for up dos and makeup both of which she also does a great job at. If you are looking for a full service stylist with lots of experience who truly cares about her clients she is your girl! The salon is beautiful and the customer service from star to finish is top notch! They offer complimentary beverages and snacks and is a relaxing experience.

My best guess is that it was some time in the 90’s (maybe when I moved to the Big Island of Hawai’i?) that I lost touch with the concept of a hair «style»…in the ensuing decades I had become complacent to getting a generic haircut at Clips or Cuts or one of those other «everyone in the same box» places.
Recently I gave The Aveda Institute a couple of tries and was pleased with the results.
But today… I found hair nirvana, sigh!
I treated myself to a true Hair Style experience and I am amazed to remember what a wonderful, personal hair style feels like. Well, it feels like 10 years off my age and soft, downy (fall right into place) locks! I now have a custom creation that looks exactly like what it is: a tailored look created by a true hair professional.
Take my advice and make an appointment for a pampering with Casey or Derek or Martin. All are Scissors Maestros who will bring out all your inner beauty!

Lacy Alejandro — You. Complete. Me. I’ve been going to Lacy for about 8 years now and will follow her wherever she goes. I live in Houston now and will still come up to Dallas to see her. She truly is a color MASTER (and has been written up in D Magazine as such!!) I’m going to see if I can post a few pictures so yall can see what this beauty does for me.
Also, the salon is adorable. When Lacy told me where it was, I was a bit nervous there was going to be a parking problem /​would be too busy. Nu uh. Super convenient. Very posh. Loved it all!

The Best!!! Whether it’s to get your make up done for date night or a last minute blow out that’ll last for days, Derek and his team got you! I’m very picky about who handles my curly hair, which could be very challenging. But Derek and his talented team made me feel at ease! Especially with his professional background, I felt like I was in good hands. They fixed my coloring and transformed it into an amazing Balayage and I love my cut, so lightweight and full of body. If you’re looking for a salon with expert talent and a luxurious touch, I definitely recommend!

I had the misfortune of an awful haircut years ago — taking my long hair to a shoulder length mullet with chunks of 1 – 2 inch hair scattered throughout my head. Don’t ask… it was devastating. Needless to say, I had to find another stylist. After a couple years of searching (and more bad haircuts), I finally found my savior. My hair was a confused mess on my first visit to Derek. Something to the tune of about 4 different hair cuts going on at once. He managed to bring peace and order to my hair :) As we all know, a woman’s hair is a huge part of her identity. I feel like he restored mine. He’s been doing my hair ever since (4+years). My hair has never looked better. On top of coming to him with a hot mess, I also have extremely thick and unruly hair. Everyone always wants to «thin» and «texturize» the hell out of it… leaving it looking choppy and uneven. Not Derek. My hair is smooth, perfectly even, connected and flowing… regardless of how I style it. This guy knows how to design hair! I can’t imagine ever trusting anyone else with my lovely locks again.
To ice the cake, he recently opened his own salon in the coveted Turtle Creek Village area. It’s chic, sleek, and magnifique!

Truly the «IT» salon and conveniently located in the Oak Lawn/​Turtle Creek/​Highland Park area. Martin Lopez has cut my hair for as long as I can remember! He has over 20 years experience as a stylist and educator. After working for Sassoon in San Francisco and Hamburg, Germany he further perfected his craft by moving to New York and took a year long apprenticeship with the late, great John Sahag. Don’t recognize John Sahag? Then Google him! Martin is one of Dallas’ most recommended stylists and is frequently mentioned in fashion magazines. Check out this gorgeous salon and ask for Martin — You’ll thank me!

I’ve been going to Derek for 7 years. I’ll follow him anywhere, and I’m so happy he’s opened his own place. Service is amazing as always. Space is clean and modern. And, there’s a whiskey waiting for me when I arrive!!! Love!

Just opened in Turtle Creek Village. Nice spot, upscale and service oriented. Just getting it together with staff, but liked their approach. Very slick, but not in you your face, and offer refreshments besides tea when you are there. Importantly, a great haircut, felt very personal with attention, and no hurry to get me in and out.
