Went here for a friend’s birthday dinner. I splurged because there were things I hadn’t eaten before, like the foie gras. At the end of the dinner, I wasn’t really wowed. Perhaps it was me expecting too much. The service was good, but the food did take a little longer than I expected to be served. The sommelier did a great job, 5 stars for him! I sat at the bar to wait for my friends for a bit and the bartenders are nice. The place itself is very well put together and attractive. Also had a live band which was nice. All in all, I enjoy fine dining every so often… but somehow I just felt unfulfilled with this place. Maybe I’ll give it another chance in the future.

2012NYE Dinner— NOT! We arrived at Bailey’s for dinner to learn that they were offering only a buffet option. The buffet only was not shared at the time our reservation was confirmed. We were disappointed, but agreed to review the buffet. The options were unacceptable and they were charging $ 65/person. We left the restaurant and will not choose Bailey’s Prime again.

We arrived purposely early to dinner in order to sample one of the signature cocktails in the adjoining bar and we were surprised to see there was a reverse Happy Hour about to begin(half price off all cocktails, house wines and domestic beers… and on a Saturday night. Sweet) The bar itself was elegant and lush with reds and gold rich colours. The bar staff were friendly and the welcoming without being too gushy. My drink(cucumber Martini) was made perfectly without and fancy trimmings and the bargirl actually used a straw to taste test the cocktail before handing it to me. A quality control I find sadly lacking in most places. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Its touted as being a steakhouse without the usual testosterone hunting dark wood walls. The walls were pale and chandeliers kept the rooms light and elegant. Running down the middle of the restaurant is a marble lined reflecting pool framed on both sides by trees. As far as first impressions go this place has it spot on. Our waiter was as pretty as the surroundings and helped us through the menu making suggestions along the way. The food did not disappoint. For an appetizer the insanely decadent chicken fried and lobster stuffed avocado was as good as it sounds($ 15). I don’t eat steak(I know… I know.) so I opted for the seafood entrée and the Jalapeño onion crusted Bass($ 25) was fabulous with a tequila and chile cream sauce making the dish extra special. My dinner comrades did have steak and no complaints there either. Hubby had the prime strip steak($ 35) and my girl friend tried the waiters recommendation the«Steak and Cake» which was a personal twist on surf and turf only this was steak and crab cake! There ARE better steakhouse in Dallas(Bobs!) but for a good food experience in gentile, pretty surroundings this one has my vote.

Ken, Eddie and Chef Ryan make this place awesome. The ambiance is AMAZING. Happy Hour is great, super cute for a Ladies Night! Food superb. I don’t eat beef so I can’t comment on the steak. I have had the tuna tartar, lamb, veal and prawns. All delightful! The specialty cocktails are my favorite! Eddie makes the best gimlets with a foam concoction on the top-super special! Also a Cucumber, watermelon delight with gin, I believe! If having a special occasion, reserve the private room with the black and white walls, vaulted ceilings with chandeliers and natural light across the north wall– the character and charm of that room are the perfect accompaniment to any special occasion dining experience.

Sadly it was just OK. Great location. Amazing atmosphere. Service was odd and food was good but not excellent. It was an eternity between courses yet the restaurant was not busy. Easy to get and make reservations using Open Table. We saw a valet stand during dinner hours but the one valet was off helping someone else. As a result, parked in the garage. The bad thing is that we got a good whiff of the dumpster as we walked from the parking garage to the front door. Warmly welcomed by the hostess but then it went down hill. A bus person came to our table providing us with water and bread but it was a long time before a wait staff member came to our table. I was seriously wanting a glass of wine and we devoured our bread while waiting. The server apologized when arriving at our table but simply no excuse… on a Thursday night it appeared that there were not that many customers and ample staff. Ordering food and wine was fine and our waitress was helpful. Courses began to appear and everything was OK until we got our steaks. The staff member who brought our steaks was not too sure who got which steak so we had to cut into them and do some switching. since we had different cooking temps. Steaks came without sauces ordered which was very disappointing. I really wanted a bearnaise sauce with my steak but nobody ever checked and visited our table to see if our steaks were as ordered. Unfortunately, there was not an opportunity to get the sauce while eating the steak course. We had mentioned the missing sauces to the waitress when she came to get our dessert order and she responded«I will have to talk to the kitchen». Overall it was a waste of my time. Very disappointing because the atmosphere is outstanding. Other great steak options in Dallas.

Pros: — Garlic rolls — Filet mignon — Chocolate cake(out of this world!) — Great wine selection — HUGE bar area plus lots of couches by the bar to sit and chat(would be great for HH) — Very nice atmosphere(great for business or a nice dinner) — Good location Cons: — Caesar salad(bland, not worth the calories!) — Carrot cake(also bland) — Like many places, you need to valet park or park in the garage behind the restaurant(I only put this as a con because of no private lot parking for patrons like some places have for its guests) I’m not sure how the price compares to the food since I attended for a work event, but if you have to pay over $ 40 for a filet mignon here, you’re better off going to a place like Bob’s or Abacus which is better. However, I would go to Bailey’s again, especially for happy hour!

Let me preface this review by saying, I used to totally back this place and recommend it to anyone looking for a great steak dinner. I’ve never done HH here so I can’t really comment on that scene, but based upon my last dining visit, I won’t be returning. To give credit where it is due, the restaurant itself is nice. Tall ceilings, indoor trees, good lighting. The service was great. I switched my reservation time twice and the hostess was very friendly and accomodating. Our waiter knew the menu well and was super attentive. But then again, this might be because the restaurant was pretty dead for a Friday night so he wasn’t juggling tables. My guess as to why the place was so slow… The food is sub par for it’s price point. Evidently the menu was completely revamped within the past few weeks and based on my experience, I’m not liking the changes. My favorite side, the sweet potato [and delicious sweet fixings] is gone, along with the mac and cheese. How do you get rid of such a stape side like mac and cheese? The steaks that used to come with asparagus and mashed potatoes are now served on their own with all sides served a la carte. I opted for the 6 oz filet and can’t say there was anything special about it. The Bernaise sauce was not very good and actually tasted a little mayonnaisey to me. We got the creamed corn and yukon potatoes for our sides and neither were remarkable. They tasted no different than something you could make out of a box at home. If I’m spending $ 125+ for a steak dinner, I expect great food and unfortunately, this place is no longer what it used to be. Sadly, I’ll be sticking with uptown steak houses where at least I know I’ll be getting an awesome meal for the large bill. Such a shame, I really liked this place!

What a great place to stop for happy hour — parking is so easy and it’s not busy. $ 5 house wines, $ 2 off signature cocktails and $ 8 bar appetizers. Went for a lovely gathering last night and even got a free glass of Malbec for checking in on Foursquare! Love. Totally going back.

Went for Happy Hour last night and it was great! The décor is hip and cool and the bar area was really nice! I checked in on Foursquare and received a free glass of house Malbec, which was so fun! We ordered the sliders and bruschetta and they were both delicious! Our server was really nice and very attentive. Great place!

Outstanding«Yes we can» Attitude and service. As I arrived early to set up my presentation for an event, I ran into issues with connecting my computer to the projector. Over the course of the next few minutes, four restaurant staff members tried to help me, and all of them had a «can do attitude.» Usually I don’t get this kind of positive response. Within a few moment the issues was resolved and the event continued with success. I take my hat off to the leadership ay Bailey’s Prime Plus. They hire and support a great service delivery culture. By the way, the food and beverage were excellent.

I’m thrilled we went to Bailey’s Prime Plus for date night… we now have a new FAVORITE! Everything was perfect right from the start of our experience at Bailey’s — the atmosphere, the food, the service… all impeccable! We started the night in the bar area for cocktails — the staff at the bar were all friendly and quick to take our orders and retrieve our drinks. When you check-in on Foursquare, you unlock a special for a complimentary glass of wine, so be sure to check in if you’re in the mood for some vino! They also offer a slew of designer drinks on the bar menu — the champagne and pearls was fantastic! We were seated in one of their comfortable booths in the dining room. The décor was beautiful! We ordered a bottle of wine from their expansive wine menu — Josh gave a great recommendation and the wine was at the perfect temperature. We ordered the crab cake for an appetizer, Cesar salad, 6 oz filet(oscar style) and jalapeño onion crusted sea bass for entrees to share, and the mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes for sides. Everything was prepared perfectly and was delicious! The filet with oscar sauce was probably the most delicious we’ve had at any steak house in Dallas! The maitre d’, Rickey, came by to ensure we had a great experience and we could not stop gushing about the fabulous food and service. Bye, bye Dallas Chop House. Bailey’s Prime Plus is our new date night standard. Thanks, Josh, for making the night so spectacular!

Wow! I had no idea this place was there, but what a GREAT find! I was privilaged enough to be invited to speak at a luncheon there and therefore treated(and I do mean«treated») to lunch. The ambiance is absolutely top-notch as was the service. This is one of those places you really need to «see to believe».

It was OK, but I can’t say I would drive over on purpose… I had the small filet, and it was cooked as I ordered, but not a quality I hoped for, just OK. I think I will stick with Bob’s on Lemmon!

We recently chose Bailey’s to host a client dinner. Considering that I didn’t have to pay for anything, I still remain pretty impartial about this place. After perusing the menu and even having the RW menu available to us, most everyone at our table went with the prixe fix menu offered.(I was actually pretty saddened by the RW menu as they were offering sirloin as their steak. Really? bluh) I went with the spinach salad which I thought was tossed in just a little too much dressing. It wasn’t really soggy, but the dressing was so sour that it kinda kicked me in the throat. It had some pecans, not really exciting, but also sounded the most healthy as the wedge and That salad seemed listed with a lot of cheese. 6oz filet for entrée which I asked for medium. I was actually very pleased with the actual steak. It was seared with a very nice crust that provided a really delightful mouth feel that contrasted the slight crunch of the outside with the chewy, perfectly cooked inside. A warm red, good flavor, mmm. I’d eat that steak over and over again. The entrée came with mashed potatoes and a few grilled asparagus which were nothing special, but I love both of these things, so they were pretty good. There was butter in them taters, and I liked em. Dessert was chef’s choice or seasonal berries with a dollop of cream. The majority of folks went with the chef’s choice which happened to be a chocolate cheesecake. As much as I love cheesecake, I knew I was eating way outside my caloric budget anyway so I opted for the berries. Exactly as expected. Berries + cream. Overall I feel as if the food should have impressed me more. The steak was well cooked, yes, but that’s not to say I haven’t had the same reaction with my steak cooked at Saltgrass. Everything else just seemed pretty plain. Décor was pretty nice, I thought the large trees in the dining area were odd. Indoor trees, who would have thought. Our server was also an oddball. He made several weird comments, that were just sort of off. Nothing he did was wrong, but I’d just be willing to bet that he is probably a little awkward in his non server life. I hear their happy hour is pretty good, so I may be back to venture through that.

My husband brought me here for my birthday and I’m so grateful he did. The atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking. So romantic. We got a booth right next to the fountain. Our server was great, but the other servers were joking around and laughing too much while walking the floor. It was distracting. The food was delicious! We ordered Tomato & mozzarella salad which was great. The tomatoes tasted home grown! The crab cake was big enough to split, with not a lot of fillers. My entrée was lobster which was perfectly seasoned and my husband’s steak was melt in your mouth good. The desserts were good, but no must haves. Overall, loved the food, ambiance and drinks.

Horrible. This is a fine dining restaurant? My dinner tasted no better than a $ 10.00 meal. The wait staff was rude and very unattentive. In fact, I saw our waitress maybe three times… To take our order, to bring our food out and to get our check. My filet mignon was hard, dry and extremely burnt(and no… I did not order well-done). Did I mention the service was horrible? Absolute worst experience for a «fine dining» restaurant I have ever and probably will ever have. If you want a high-end dinner experience, take your business and your money where it is appreciated. Will not come back here again.

We ate here the night before the Super Bowl because we couldn’t get reservations at at any of the top steak places in Dallas. We were hosting friends who came in from out of state for the game and wanted to take them for a nice Texas steak. The ambiance was great. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. It has so much potential to become one of the cool restaurants in Dallas. But… Bottom line: the food was average and the service was awful. The food is priced a little lower than places like Bob’s and Del’s; however, it’s still on the pricier side so I expected more. I got onion rings for an app. They were ok. Nothing like the ones at other nice restaurants. My friends and husband got the lobster stuffed avocado, which they loved and said was the best part of the meal. For dinner, I chose to do the three course meal. «That» salad was pretty good, if you like a sweet salad. My filet was overcooked and they gave me a hard time about wanting to sub a baked potato for the mashed, even though I offered to pay more. I did get the baked potato and it was awful. How do you mess up a baked potato??? They did. The chef’s dessert was a blondie. AWFUL! Our waiter semen very professional and impressed us at first but he was sooooo inattentive. it was like pulling teeth to get refills on our drinks or get a fork so I could eat my dinner — and he wasn’t even very busy. The restaurant was maybe a third full. I don’t know that I’ll ever go back. I’ll stick to Bob’s, Del’s, Nick and Sam’s, and Perry’s where the service and food is exceptional.

I was here as part of the Restaurant Week Festivities. I have never been a Steakhouse fan but since they do have Fish i am always down for an adventure. The Seating is like a typical Steakhouse set up. It was fancy, well lit, Lots of Chandeliers and nice cozy booths and there was even a water way next to where we sat. Lots of staff member refilling drinks and cleaning up an attentive servers. For the Central Market Apetizer we had Calamari which i must say was a lot and tasty, A bit salty but the two dips that came with it made up for the saltiness. One was tartar like and the other spicy. For Starters i had the Lobster Bisque which was almost perfect if only it had larger chunks of lobster bits in it but nonetheless it tasted great. For the Main entrée i opted for the Citrus Salmon which came with mashed potatoes, some of the ladies in the group had the broiled tenderloins which was prepared medium and came with about 4 chunks of the tenderloin bits. Lucky me got one whole one to my self and it was nice, good texture. My Salmon came and looked fresh even though my friends Salmon looked more well cooked than mine but who cares? I was surprised not to notice anything Citrucy about the Salmon. It tasted nice but nothing over the top or nothing to make you want to lose your religion. The mashed potatoes were pretty good and the Potato croquettes that came with the Broiled tenderloins were actually my favorite item that i had that evening. For Dessert i had the Brownie Sundae which looked better than it really was. The brownie was a bit too hard and despite the Chocolate scoop of ice cream on it it was still not melting and took some efford to bite into it. It also had nuts and pecans and toffee in it but was just ok. I got a chance to taste the peach dessert which and a nice tangy fresh peach flavor to it but it was a bit shocking that the peach wasnt served warm. Other than the fact that it was busy we noticed that there was a live band performing in the bar and they were pretty lively playing lots of top 40 hits and i noticed that most of the patrons left for the bar to extend their entertainment. I attempted to sit at the bar for a minute but i noticed the crowd make me feel like a teenager amongst them so that was my cue to take my entertainment elsewhere before i get a table dance from a Puma or Cougar.

I give this place 3.75 stars out of 5 our reservation was at 6pm we arrived at 5:58pm…upon walking in… great greeters! manager and another lady opened door for us followed by warm welcome of the front desk, then the girl lead us to our table(no waiting what so ever!!! on Valentine’s day)…but remember always RSVP this place is full when we got there and it was still full after 2hrs of dinning… I thought it was set kind of weirdly close to another table to my right(a bit close) but it’s ok. environment was nice, we sat at a table that over sees the main dinning room with the trees and to my right is the glass see through wine cellar our waitress was nice and helpful… we ordered some sort of Valentine’s day champagne it’s very fruity and from what I can tell… you can probably buy the same kind for $ 7/bottle at Kroger.(not bad just nothing special about it except for it being pink) we moved on to appetizer we ordered the TUNAPOKE(pronounces PO-KAY) lameeee LOL but oh well I thought I’d give fusion a try at this top shelf steak house … it was a mistake the dish was $ 15 and it’s extremely SMALL… it’s cut into small cubicles mixed with onions and cilantro lime juice? sitting on 2 pieces of tortilla chips…(wayyyyy too much onion taste we couldn’t even taste the Tuna) total tuna used to probably only 2 slices of sashimi or less… and in the middle there’s fresh wasabi avacado(something was bitter about this dish we weren’t sure what) then on the right there’s mix pickled white carrots, red carrots, sea weed it was just ok. we will not order this again~ onto the main dishes… I ordered the DOUBLECUTCOLORADOLAMBCHOPS Peach and pepper marmalade… the exterior was darken and inside was tender, moist and mixed with a tiny bit of fat which was PERFECT on each bite… especially if you mix it with the peach marmalade this gives you a refreshing after taste in your mouth(great if you think the lamb is too gamy) which wasn’t. this was about $ 48ish however no side comes with this I had to pay another $ 6ish for a plate of warm(NOTHOT) steamed asparagus w/button on side… I just use salt and skipped on the button. the wifey ordered the 6oz Center Cut Filet Minon … this was done perfect!!! crisp and flavorful on the outside and HOT red center(not bloody) it was wonderful!!! this was about $ 37ish with 3 halves of asparagus(again LAMEEEEE) being a top notch steak house I guess they know what they’re doing. the dessert menu looks great but we had no room left for it… and over all visit was good solid 4 stars b/c service and the quality of meat~ 0.25 was taken off b/c our table was placed weirdly close to another table I could smell the perfume OVER-DOSED old lady next to me(good thing they came as we were finishing our meal) 0.75 was taken off b/c the Tuna Poke was overwhelming mixed with onions… bad after taste in mouth and the wasabi guac was bitter 0.25 was taken off b/c of the pricing without sides I know it’s a high dollar high quality steak house but come on… let us have sides please! paying an extra $ 6 + tax on a veggie side was a bit stiff~ don’t get me wrong the FOOD alone at this place is worth 4~4.5 stars but it’s the tiny things that count right? I don’t think my review is too harsh if you’ve read my reviews before … I’m a food enthusiast and this place is definitely a good eat now if they’d just do some tiny tiny improvements on the things I mention above =) I’d visit it more~

Obviously fine-dining steakhouses are in no shortage here, so it always stumps me when I see yet another one open. What could they possibly offer that the others don’t? So I see that Bailey’s Prime Plus opens late last year in the shopping center across 75 from Northpark. I walk over, glance in the bar area, and note that it seems to have a nice, traditional old-school vibe and make a mental note. That’s not completely original but it exuded class and comfort at the same time. I decided that I would have to try it when the time seems right. Well, Saturday my sweetie and I get dressed in our vintage garb to head to LaDivina’s show at the Lakewood when I think«NOW is the time» because I needed some classically prepared steak and a frosty martini. This was very last minute but it turned out perfectly thanks to the reservation system on . Although we arrive 15 minutes early, they offer to seat us right away, which was helpful since we wanted to make the show on time. Of course the place was only half full at 7:30p on a Saturday, but that has never stopped Sambuca from being snooty about showing up early. Our server immediately comes to the table and greets us. He is very patient, answers a number of our questions, and even offers solutions that are not on the menu. Whereas some steakhouse are sticklers about the menu, Bailey’s is willing to compromise. Trying to eat light, they let you split steaks for no charge and order half portions of the sides. Unable to decide on a wine, they bring out a few and let you sample them. Ordering here was really a nice experience. We split a 14oz ribeye and it exuded juice and flavor in every bite. The skillet of mushrooms successfully blended garlic and butter without those tastes ever becoming overpowering. Also, the fresh made bread hinted garlic and cheese and melter in our mouths. Finally, my martini was expertly mixed but with a catch… use of a small cube of dry ice meant that it came out smoking like Dr. Jekyll’s potion but kept the drink cold through the entire meal. Three cheers to that! I just wished I would have read Brandy N, review first because that orangesicle sounds awesome! So why not five stars? There was a hiccup with our service. Much like Eddie H’s experience, our server disappeared toward the end of our meal. Getting the check took forever and he never wrote down my fiancée’s choice of wine so she could buy some at Central Market. I don’t think it was his fault. It seems like perhaps the restaurant was asking him to cover too much ground. He was certainly willing to provide top-notch service. One last thing… the crowd seems to skew toward an older clientele. If you wants steak and hot bodies, go hang at the bar at Nick & Sam’s. If you want a delicious but relaxing evening, then give Bailey’s a shot.
