The service was horrible!!! We waited almost 45 min. just to get menus, then another 15 to get our drinks! And another 30 min to get our food!!! The waitresses didn’t even know what they were doing or which table was theirs!!! She took our order wrong and then charged us for extra things we did not ask for!!! They were so disorganized! The consome tasted burnt! The bathrooms were disgusting! They looked like they haven’t ever been cleaned!

La barbacoa es casi como la de Mexico, solo que tiene un GRAN problema, no tiene NADA de sal, entonces eso hace que no tenga nada de sabor. La salsa roja es excelente y por fin un lugar que vende consome. El lugar es sucio pero la cantante de los domingos se rifa buenas rolas. No pienso regresar al menos de que tenga mucha desesperacion de barbacoa. 30 minutos de distancia para grasa sin sal naaaa…

The only reason why this joint is not getting 5 stars is because of the facilities, but more on that later. To find really good Barbacoa in the DFW has proven to be very challenging, this place however, offers very flavorful and tender meat, served in a chafing dish to keep it warm, now, good Barbacoa has to be always accompanied by a good conzome (which is the broth made during the cooking process) and in this case it was also very good, an excellent touch was the hand made corn tortillas, and really good red and green salsas, it also comes with cilantro, onions and limes on the side. Order by the pound at $ 15/​lb.
We went on a Sunday around noon, the place was packed and as eager to try as I was I thought that we would have to wait, but no, you seat yourself at any available table then just wait for service which in this case was almost immediate, we had everything at our table within 10 minutes, we really enjoyed the meal. At the end of the meal my kids wanted to use the restroom, and not that it was dirty but in very poor condition, that would by my only complaint, other than that if you are looking for great tasting real Barbacoa this joint would be a great choice. They also have an extended menu on the wall that goes from breakfast to kids meals.
