Very nice trees great prices for the small trees. Owner is very nice. But he doesn’t trust you to browse unattended. Which I understand fully. Would definitely go again. He also sells pots which are very high quality. His larger bonsai were the most impressive. Call ahead or when you get there to enter just because it is sort of a house and there is a gate. No parking lot either. More of a mom and pop shop

Best Bonsai nursery in North Texas. Quality bonsai and prebonsai. Plenty of supplies and materials. Always a fair deal. This has been my goto nursery for 10+ years.

I cannot explain how awesome this place is! The owner, Ray Hernandez, is just amazing. He is knowledgable, friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. He is a bit older but damn he knows his bonsai. There were so many different kinds and he gave us information on all of them. He could definitely teach a class. In fact, I suggest following his blog. He recently did an outing where he brought some of his blog followers to a creek bed and did a bonsai dig! His nursery is run out of home and you can visit by appointment only. Don’t let that discourage you though. He is very accommodating and has customers from all over the US including Colorado and Michigan. There are a few outdoor sections as well as a greenhouse for the tropical varieties. What I thought was super cool is that he has a section with all the pottery, decorations, wires, and shears. I have not seen that anywhere else. There is even a well trained dog that follows Ray around but does not go into the garden sections. How sweet! I cannot wait to come back here!
