All the reviews are exactly what I would say. Cool random stuff but most was pricey but completely comparable to the other shops up the street in the area. The guy that greeted me was super friendly and even told me where the other resale shops in the area were. I’d definitely return here even if I didn’t buy anything.

Some kitsch, collectibles, with a touch of just plain out strange items. Great accessories if you want something interesting for your mantle, end table or bookshelf. A little pricey… probably priced for the interior designers who don’t mind overpaying with other peoples money.

Holy cow keep me OUT of this place!!! If you’re crafty in any way shape r form. CHECKTHISPLACEOUT. If you like antiquing in any way shape r form. CHECKTHISPLACEOUT. If you like hidden treasures in any way shape r form. CHECKTHISPLACEOUT. If you like all of the above at reasonable prices… CHECKTHISPLACEOUT!!! I went in search of a kitchen table for my kitchen. I knew I wanted an old style… something I could go home and paint to look however I wanted. I got there and not only found my choice of TONS of cool tables… but I found myself in the middle of a pile of AWESOMESTUFF! I finally had to get out of there because I just finding things to buy and deciding what I could do with it when I got home. That place totally inspires the crafty, decorative, inventive fires inside ya. Love it. My favorite is the stuff outside in the back… giant letters from store signs… I cant wait to have a house and a true junk room/play room/man cave to decorate with neat stuff like that! Go find you some junk, yo

I must have driven by this place a hundred times before I finally went it, but boy am I glad I did. It looks tiny from the outside, but inside it’s really very big. This isn’t your Granny’s antique store; the stuff is(mostly) old, this is true, but it’s all funky, retro stuff that would look great in any modern home. Also, they’ve got some very different and interesting art from what I assume are local artists available for purchase. I love old Catholic religious articles, and they’ve always got a good selection to look at. I bought a nifty old book who’s cover depicted a screaming boy being bitten by a frowning horse; what more could you want? Plus they get new stuff every few weeks. Don’t miss their sidewalk sales and outdoors festivals!

Junkadoodle is one of those stores that I always drive by but never manage to remember to visit. Which is surprising as my rule of thumb is that any establishment with the word«doodle» in it is worth at least a look around. But I just always forget. So last Saturday my friend and I decided that we’d go check it out. We lucked out too as they were having some sort of open air antique flea market out front. I spent 4 dollars on some old postcards and a couple of promotional cooking pamphlets with recipes like«Mammy’s Cornbread» and suggestions for«gay touches» for my crispy waffles to make them extra special(I bet!). But I digress. The first thing that you notice about Junkadoodle is how deceptively large it really is. I mean, the front just looks like somebody’s house with a little parking lot, but it’s actually pretty large with every corner and available space being filled with a completely random selection of objects. Need some headless dolls? Got em’! Need some Catholic prayer cards? Got em’! How about some deer antlers; or magazines from the 30’s; or a large selection of colored dice? Got em! All kidding aside though, this place was awesome and had all kinds of wonderful little treasures for what I thought were incredibly fair prices. And I’m sure if you talked to the proprietor’s they’d probably work with you on those. I myself very nearly bought a little fold-up bar that was decently priced, except that I don’t have any place to put it. But if you like antiques or just quirky objects and collectibles then this is definitely a place you need to see. I am so hooked.

A friend of mine told me about this place, while I was complaining that I couldn’t find any fun lamps for my new place. So mom and I came to check it out this weekend — so fun! It looks like an old house, and is filled to the brim with all the fun stuff you’d expect in an antique/resale shop along with some really beautiful and elegant finds. The stuff that caught my eye was, in my opinion, a little pricey for resale, but even if you don’t buy anything it’s super fun to walk around and giggle at all the silly merchandise. They also have a side yard full of old iron pieces and old signs. And the owner is super friendly and welcomed us with a big warm«HELLO» the second we walked through the door. This is definitely a place I’ll keep my eye on, as I’m sure you can stumble upon some really great stuff here!
