Given the fact that this Blimpie is a run turn off the busy Central Expressway, I would use GPS or your cars computer to warn you when to turn. It’s also a Cold Stone Creamery. A sandwich combination with drink and chips for $ 5.00? There had to be a catch. Nope. The sandwich had far more fresh meat and cheese than any other sub shop. I have eaten here about six times and always impressed with how good my meal was! The service is fantastic and you feel welcomed and appreciated! It’s squeaky clean. Good parking! The only hard part was eating a pretty healthy meal with Cold Stone Creamery ice cream and various toppings just a few feet away!

Check in on Unilocal and you will get a free cookie. Fresh meat and veggies, and a wide variety of bread choices. Love the pretzel roll, and the tuna salad. They do offer a loyalty program, and once you fill up the card you get a free sandwhich. Combo meals are reasonably price, and offer a lot of food for a great price. Perfect lunch spot, but only downside is the location. Don’t be fooled if this place has no one in there because the location is okay, but the food is steller.

Blimpie used to be the go-to sub shop back in my day, but then they slowly started disappearing. I was shocked when I saw this Blimpie off the expressway. I didn’t even know they still existed. I thought the sign that said a Blimpie was in the plaza was a joke… but it’s not, there is actually a real, operating Blimpie store here! Blimpie is similar to Jersey Mike’s in that they slice the meat when you order. They have a variety of sandwiches. Normally I only eat turkey… I hate ham and other deli meats, but I ordered the Blimpie Best because it’s what I remember having way back in the day when Blimpie was popular. The Blimpie Best has ham, salami, capicola, prosciuttini, and provolone. They offer the usual toppings like lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. However, Blimpie has something special over those other sub chains and that is the sweet peppers! You have to get sweet peppers on your sub! The Blimpie Best was probably the best sub I have had in a very long time. Blimpie is about 200 times better than Subway and a little bit better than Jersey Mike’s.
