Blush At Bishop Arts Salon

Love love love this place. Starting going in March and they are awesome. Marissa is my regular stylist and shes amazing. Monica has also done my hair and Ashley. They are very sweet and make me feel very comfortable. Love the salon but hate the parking. Only sucky part. But other than that I love this place.

Found this place thanks to Unilocal,they were able to get me in the very next day and I am more than pleased with my new hair do! Ashley was super friendly and she has the hair skills down. She was nice enough to walk me thru the blow out, I’ll definitely be back to see her! :)

The girls at Blush are so sweet. They do a great job and really care about the end result. I have been to a lot of salons in my life as a blonde and picking the right one is important. Cynthia is great, she did an amazing job on my hair and I have had people ask me about it for weeks after. She spent a long time making sure it was perfect and it was at a very reasonable price.

Marissa fixed my ombré nightmare to a beautiful balayage! ! First time here and she will be doing my hair again! Thanks so much! So excited I found a new place where they know what their doing!

They matched my neice’s tracks to a T! Great job! And her prom hair was perfect. The price was well worth all the work. It’s not fancy, but still classy. Much like the ladies who work there.

I needed a change and Blush at Bishop Arts is where it happened! Marissa Cazares did an amazing job with my Balayage. The color and cut was exactly what I was looking for. She gave me tips on what would look good on me and how I should take care of my hair. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. Let me start by saying Cynthia is the BEST stylist ever, I have followed her for the past 17 or so years and will continue until I’m old and gray.
That’s me with the BAD ASS Mohawk in the first photo at first I didn’t feel confident I could rock it, but I quickly rocked that bad boy and totally loved it. My daughter is also a customer and every March her birthday month Taty has to see her stylist and Cynthia always has something great up her sleeve for my baby.

For the longest time I wanted to try balayage and since I’m new to the Dallas area I had no clue what place to go to. I was really scared to go to just any place only because I specifically didn’t want straight ombré, I really wanted more of the blended look. So trusting anyone to do that is quite the risk. I did some reasearch and came across Blush and Bishop Arts. I looked at their instagram and noticed a number of pictures with the Balayge look. So I decided to book with Monica. Thank the lord that happened! Finding salons opened late is rare and at that finding someone to book a coloring appointment after 4 is even more rare. So the fact that Monica was able to book me at 5pm on a Friday night was an absolute blessing! Monica did such an amazing job. She took every single thing I said I wanted and did magic. I was so skeptical about getting balayge solely because I didn’t want straight ombré and she put all my worries away. For the first time ever after finishing my hair color, it came out absolutely perfect. I literally get compliments all the time and I’m so happy I chose Monica. I’m definitely going back once it’s time for a touch up. I 100% recommend her!

Another thing that they do here which I really like is they will always give you an honest answer with an explanation when yoy have a question about something new you might want to try. Unlike most other places that are just happy to take your money regardless of whether the new do really works for you.
Myself, my wife, daughter and son all come here and always leave happy. Cynthia, Pamela, Monica and Marissa are all professional, sweet, and friendly.
Another thing we enjoy here is the location. It’s right on Davis in the Bishop Arts District in a section that so far, has been unaffected by the high traffic parts of the area. We NEVER have a problem finding parking.
One last thing that my 6 year old wanted me to be sure to add, there are always tasty sweets in the glass jar by the window!

I have been following Cynthia for at least 12 years now. Where ever she goes i go :). Whenever im visiting, i always make it a point to go say Hello and of course get a new style.
