I have been coming to this location for years but I just cannot take the rude service and people any longer. I am finished with Braums forever! The treatment I have received at this place is unbelievable. I have been yelled at, my change has been thrown on the street(yes, no exaggeration), and no one cares for you as a customer. This is the worst run place ever. Maybe if they hired other people than uneducated rude hispanics and blacks, customers would be treated better.

Taste: 1 of 2 stars Value: 1 of 1 star Ambiance: 1 of 1 star Will I return? Maybe but probably not. 0 of 1 star Total: 3 stars This Braum’s location is lacking in comparison to their other locations, in my opinion.(The one on Campbell Rd in Richardson is good!) The price of ice cream here, as always, is a spectacular value: you can get ½ pound of ice cream for under 2 bucks! Their scoops are huge and each one is supposedly a quarter pound. Service here was friendly, the lady who helped us was kind and not at all annoyed by my indecisiveness in selecting a flavor. Unfortunately, the flavors somehow taste different at this location, and not for the better. I got the chocolate chip and pistachio almond. The pistachio almond tasted overwhelmingly of artificial almond flavoring. The chocolate chip tasted a little bit of freezer, hinting that it might have been a bit older and less fresh than one would desire. That might be because there’s less turnover of ice cream supply at this location from a relative lack of customers; we were the only people there. All in all, Braum’s is a great place for super cheap ice cream but some locations are better than others, and this one isn’t the star.

Braums! The place with burgers and crinkle French fries that’ll take you back to the good high school lunch days. Their fries are never soggy and so delish with ketchup! Milk shakes are good for dipping too. I also love their affordable and delicious waffle ice cream cones. And if the normal one is too big, they also offer the perfect junior sized waffle cones for $ 1.50! Cookies and cream will not disappoint. The only thing that holds this place back is their customer service. But it’s a fast food join so you can’t go in expecting much. Their drive thru people couldn’t even crack a smile. No big deal though, I’ll smile enough for all of us as I enjoy my ice cream!

Staff was unattentive and uncaring, but the ice cream was delicious and cheap. Got an ice cream cone and ice cream cup for under $ 4. The dining area has plenty of space and is pretty clean, but none of these pros make up for the terrible staff.

I love Braums! This location was clean, spacious, and surprisingly empty for a Sunday afternoon. I’m not complaining though because crowds can be overwhelming at this place. I am giving three stars due to the staff working that afternoon. It was my first time at this specific location, and I was really taken back by the lack of friendliness that other Braums locations are good at maintaining. The ice cream was good as always though!

Just to show how long its been since I was last here I did not realize they had taken their chili cheese burger off the menu. The cashier could not have been nicer, saying no problem, glad to make you one. She asked exactly what I wanted on it. Bun, meat, chili, cheese, onion, bun. Got it. No cheese. Good but not gooey delicious. I’m sure if I had brought it to their attention it would have been fixed with no hassle, but I was in a rush. Won’t wait so long for my next stop.

Manager could not even suggest or list possible ingredients to a Fancy Sundae, then floor manage circled the wagons and made it hard, actually impossible to reach the Supervisor for the store. if your sales are down, it is due to bad employees. This was for the Forest Lane — Greenville Store in Dallas

Horrible service from one of the employees! The nastiness of the employee made my food taste bad! As long as I know that employee will be there. I’ll make sure to take my guest other places to get fries and Ice Cream! Pathetic!

So I went to this location and ordered the praline cake with extra pecans and butter pecan ice cream, and strawberry single dip with a cake cone on the side. When I pulled up to the window they gave me a sugar cone and I sent that back. Little did I know when I opened my bag at home I had nothing close to my order. Customer service starts with paying attention and I just wish they had people taking orders that pay attention. There’s nothing more frustrating when spending your money on something that you want only to open your bag and not having what you want.

I am in deep trouble. Ice cream troubles! Braum’s will eventually kill me because their ice cream sundaes are irresistibly good and affordable. On my last visit to Dallas, I went twice and I just went the other day again! So far I have tried the pistachio-almond, black walnut, cherry cheesecake, chocolate chip, and butter pecan. First time there I had the pistachio-almond and black walnut on a waffle cone. The scoops are a generous size… probably the size of my fist. I also tried their double dip sundaes and that’s the order I keep coming back to. I managed to take a sample of the german chocolate from my partners in ice cream, and it was great too. I can tell I won’t be disappointed here. They are all great flavors. I keep asking for the pistachio-almond, but they were sold out the last time. The quality of the ice cream is premium. Despite the heat of TX, the ice cream was solid. None of that half-melted nonsense. I want ice cream not frozen yogurt! Did I mention there’s a drive-thru?! YES, my friends, you can get your double dip sundae at the drive-thru. Afterwards, I suggest you run the Katy Trail to ease the guilt.

Great place for freshly made ice cream! We tried several flavors between us all and loved them all, along with their freshly made waffle cones!

After seeing this place for awhile, a friend and I decided to check it out. We walked in and the place was dirty, the fluorescent lighting is just awful and the place looks like something the eighties forgot. We waited in line to give our order then it took forever to pay. The cashier had no clue what he was doing with the customer before us. Finally we got to the least dirty table we could find and sat down. We both started laughing as we looked around at all the creepy people in there. Crack ho’s, a dirty guy with some sort of nasty rash who was barefoot, very obese female couple eating like it was their last meal, the Mexican family with 5 screaming horribly behaved monsters. The place has such a ghetto feel to it between the staff and customers, that I would never go back. The ice cream was cheap enough and tasted good, but the ambiance is terrible!

As recent transplants we had never been to Braum’s, so we decided to give it a try last night. We were surprised to find the Braum’s marketplace/convenience store that shares the building with the restaurant. We thought it was kind of awesome and can add it to the list of Texan surprises we’ve found. The restaurant itself is a dated(80s maybe), but the ice cream selection was solid(no pun intended). We ended up splitting a Strawberry Shortcake Sundae with Birthday Cake ice cream, and it was mind-blowingly good! I was even tempted to order another one, but since we had just had dinner elsewhere decided that I’d save a few hours off the end of my life by abstaining. The staff was also very friendly and we’ll be back for ice cream.

You can never go wrong with ice cream, but be very careful if you purchase food here. I have found that much of the food here is expired! I would rather by locally supplied food from Whole Foods and apt the extra cost.

I love Braum’s whether it is for a burger and fried or for dessert. In my opinion, Braum’s sets the standard for ice cream in our metroplex… Yes, I have tried the others, but none compares to the smooth creaminess of Braum’s. Additionally, not only does Braum’s beat the others on quality, they are priced reasonably and do not skimp on the serving sizes.

One of my Dallas friends was raving about Braum’s and how awesome it was. So I was all primed for greatness. I think he was having Oklahoma childhood nostalgia because this place was yucky. I know it’s in the middle of a renovation but seriously it was filthy… hopefully it will be better soon. The servers were efficient and polite. We had ice cream only and my chocolate almond scoop was tasty but really small. And there didn’t appear to be anyone to sell you groceries if that was what you had popped in for.

Oh Braum’s…how I love theeeeeeee. The best ice cream, hands down. The best(fast food) burgers, hands down. Yeah, better than Whataburger. Yep, I said it. Fight me. LOL. The best crinkle fries, hands down. The service… needs some improvement… but, I never expect much from fast food place so I try not to be too judgmental in that aspect. I love Braum’s and I hate that they haven’t made their way to south Texas past Waco… it’s the one thing keeping me in Dallas :-) Okay, I’m just kidding… but it’s up there on the list!
