Café Hunan 2 is located at UT Southwestern in a food court. They have two different location at UTSW. I love their food. Always fresh and hot at lunch time. I think lunch time is the only time they are open. I get 1 item and rice and an eggroll with a coke for about 8.50. And you get plenty of food. You probably will not go to this location unless you need to. But the place is open to anybody.
You walk thought a line and pick out what you want to eat. I love the General Cho Chicken and the egg role is pretty good. The other food looks very good but I like my favorites. So I do not try other items.

So I called in for take-​out and when someone finally answered after I called 5 times they put me on hold. I wasn’t on mute so I had to listen to a 5 minute conversation between him and his friend… When he finally got back on the phone I told him what I wanted to order and he said they didn’t have what I wanted to order, sesame chicken?!? It says you have it on your website! He then told me to go BACK to the website I was just on and order from there and to call back. was going to ask if he had something else but then he hung up on me!!! I didn’t have a chance to sample the food but I will definitely not be ordering from them again.

New addition to a limited selection. Food is good. Order from menu or select items on serving line (turn over at lunch has been so good everything is fresh). Servings are huge. Definitely a great addition to the area
