Carousel Nails

Love these ladies! They are very nice and accommodating! My mom and I have been going for years!

Terrible service. Called for an appointment. They said 4:30. Told them never mind we would go somewhere else. They then said they could do 2 mani/​pedi at 2:30. 1 hour later they are just starting 1 mani and and have left both pedicures to do polish on other customers. I would never have come if I had know it was going to take 2 hours. Do not use this nail salon if you’re expecting good service. They actually left one pedicure still no manicure started for over 25 minutes with paraffin wax on feet to do quick 5 minute polish on a young child. Ended up doing 3 children. No manicure performed on either of us. Worse experience ever.

I recently moved to the area and this salon was right down the street. Overall I was pretty impressed with my experience. The neck message was free with my service, and super relaxing. The prices are reasonable. They didn’t try and up-​sell me every chance they got. The have a wide variety of OPI gel nail colors, not the knock off stuff some salons have resorted to using. My cuticles are pretty sensitive but I told the technician and she was gentle. Yes they do speak in foreign language to each other but a) this is common in nail salons and I’m never surprised when it happens and b) I never felt they they were talking about ME, probably just discussing what they had for dinner last night. The only down side (if you could call it that) was that they are a bit slow. It took over an hour and a half for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, with TWO technicians working on me at the same time. However once my service was completed I saw that my nails were close to immaculate. I assume they took their time and paid attention to every detail. Probably not the place I would go to for a quickie but well worth the wait when looking for quality.

You won’t find a friendlier and better nail place than Carousel. I don’t get mani/pedi’s often, so when I do I want perfection. You get it here! I recommend every chance I get.

Made an appointment with Peter (after reading others’ reviews on Unilocal). When I arrived they were ready for me. Right on time.
You won’t get a better gel manicure from anyone in Dallas than Peter. He takes great pride in making it look perfect. And then the shoulder massage at the end… OMG – costumer for life!

I have tried every nail place in the area and no where else compares to this. I always get gel nails, from Peter, short and round (which is more work). And he does a perfect job every time.

Just had awesome mani/​pedi with Peter and Dan and wanted to add to Carousel’s great reviews! I’ve had Mike and several others do my mani/​pedi, and they are all great!

I have been a hairdresser in Preston Center for 20 years. 2 of my pickiest clients turned me on to this jewel. Everyone I have recommended to Carousel has been 100% happy.

My old place started getting sloppy and in a hurry so I decided to try this one near my office. I got a pink and white fill earlier this week and returned today for a pedicure. Peter did both. My nails look the best they have ever looked– he said something about shape size and nail bed and I said do what u want just make them pretty and he did. He is a perfectionist and I like that. They are currently remodeling so I don’t think the plain Jane review will apply much longer. Price is very fair and everything is very clean. They have talked very little to each other in both of my visits and Peter spoke just enough. I’m inclined to think they read the previous review…
I will continue to return here, I’m a happy customer.

Plain Jane place — might as well call it Generic Asian Nails. The employees speak a foreign language to each other while doing your nails, instead of talking to you. Everything seemed clean and price was fair.
