A week ago my father spotted Chic bakery, he walked in and bought some samples that they have in their fridge. We thought it was the best tres leches we had had in a long time. So a few days before xmas we decided we wanted to order that same tres leches cake as in the samples for our xmas party. So we ordered it… and when we got it! it was not the same thing, they didn’t put strawberry filling they put strawberry pink frosting in the middle instead, we had specifically told her we wanted the filling like the sample had with the strawberry jelly… soooo dissaponting even our guests said it was too sweet. It was all sugar and bread no fruit, and was not moist enough. & the chantilli was different and not as creamy as the sample. Expected better. sad cake. I hate when cake shops can’t take simple customer orders. Worst part is we asked for something they know how to make and they gave us something we did not ask for. horrible experience.
