Typical, great Chic-​Fil-​A!!!
Service is fast and friendly. And the food is really good!
Parking can be a little bit of a hassle, but there is more in the back of the building.
It’s right by the SMU campus, so there is lots to do when over in the area.

Chick-​FIL-​a is a relatively new fast food for us. Whenever wify is in a moo-​d for chick-​FIL-​a, it always turns out to be Sunday & it’s closed. So I was excited that she remembered to try out Chick-​FIL-​A on a non-​Sunday! We came to this location for the first time & really liked the interior décor & ambience. It has a cool vibe & some fun cow-​vertisement on the wall! We eagerly ordered our sandwiches & nuggets. After settling in we enjoyed their waffle fries which were good. Wify tried her spicy chicken sandwich & although she liked it, it was soggy & not at all crispy. Which is sad because she really likes their chicken & actually craves them time to time. My Spicy chicken deluxe was also a bit soggy and could hv been little moo-​re crispy but I didn’t notice it until she said so (!)…it was good but a bit disappointing for something that is advertised for being crispy. Overall not the best experience this time however they are clearly ‘cow-​lified’ to make the best chicken sandwiches based on our past experiences sooo…‘we will be baaaack’

Very bad catering service

Chickfila is one probably my favorite fast food chains. However, this location doesn’t happen to be my favorite. The food is still great, employees are still polite and friendly, but they are also forgetful. I have been here to pick up a catering order and another just to get lunch for myself, and for both times, each employee forget about something I had asked for. (I just so happened to realize that all the sauces I had requested were not included in my pick up right before I drove off, and in the second instance, I had to remind them about my coffee after waiting for about 10 minutes.)
Also, it bothers me a little that they advertise «free wi-​fi,» but what’s the point if I spend my entire time there trying to connect to the Internet without any success. Parking is also difficult to find at this location. On the bright side, the place inside is quite spacious, and they bring the food right to your table. No disrespect to the food because I love it, but this location just isn’t my favorite.

I try to keep the majority of my reviews local, so I don’t review chains too often… unless there is something extraordinary that I experienced. And this fast food restaurant was impressive. Perhaps because it is in Highland Park or just the simple fact that Chick-​fil-​A is committed to quality ingredients compared to it’s casual dining counterparts. The service at this location is outstanding: spotless, huge open dining space, lots of windows, and fresh yellow flowers at every table. The staff was friendly and when I tried to order lunch before the 11 cutoff time, they made my order a few minutes earlier with a smile. Great choice for the on the go.

I was so disappointed with this location. My sandwich was so thin and small that it was like eating nothing. If they would’ve had a drive thru I would have complained but you actually have to walk in and order to go food here. See pic for worst sandwich ever. I usually love chickfila. :(

Gotta love Chick-​fil-​a! Of course the sandwich is one of my favorites and I could live on it for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, Sundays are closed, so I have to go find a sandwich elsewhere (they are the methadone of chicken compared to Chick-​fil-​a)
Recently, I have been trying new sauces for the fries. A surprising favorite is the buffalo sauce.

Love Chick-​fil-​a! Parking at this one can be tricky but there are spots around back that are dedicated for Chick-​fil-​a. Their chicken sandwich and waffle fries are both awesome.
All of their locations are usually nice and pretty clean, but this is probably the newest, nicest one that I have been to. I think it is neat that they are closed on Sundays but I also seem to crave chick-​fil-​a on Sundays. Maybe if I drank fewer beers on Saturday night, I would crave fried checiken less on Sunday. Oh well.

Chick-​Fil-​A has the most amazing french fries, hands down. Waffle style, perfectly fresh and crispy, and completely delicious– these fries cheer me up no matter what. Their lemonade isn’t too bad either, although a little too tangy for my personal taste, and their polynesian sauce is the perfect addition to the french fries. It’s a pretty swanky chick-​fil-​a too, if i do say so myself!

Everything at this Chickfila is great. The staff is friendly, and if you come in often, they try to remember the little things you always as for, such as extra crispy fries.
The food is not too bad for you. If you order a meal, ask for fruit as your side and it saves 310 calories. If you are counting calories go to this website
and type in food options to get the calorie count.
Breakfast is great too!

Swankiest chick fil a I’ve ever been to! Complete with fancy lid dispensers! Wouldn’t expect anything less for somewhere across from smu. Service seemed a little slow since there was only 1 register open and it was the beginning of a Saturday lunch rush.

breakfast fried chicken on a biscuit has got to be among the best hangover foods on the planet. i mean, anything that kind of combines breakfast and lunch is always a good idea.
and, they were really nice at this location – we got there right as breakfast was ending around 1130ish so they threw in some hashbrowns for free…

Yes yes yes… I know its Chick-​fil-​A. I know it’s fast food. I know I’m giving it 4 stars… I know it’s not the normal review that I should be giving…
But I have to confess… I am in a deep, committed relationship with the Chick. Especially this one…
Newly built in the middle of a strip center on Hillcrest directly across the street from SMU. You know, the bubble within the bubble. I am an Alumni… go ‘Stangs! ???
This fil-​a serves the normal menu — and if you are Southern and you like chicken — I’m willing to put money down that you already like chick-​fil-​a. WELL, this location ALSO serves milkshakes, sundaes with all the fixings, ice cream and other desserts. The place is ALSO HUGE!!! And very clean. And smelled great. Had great décor — for a fast food joint that is. Had these incredible lid dispensers for your cups — yeah, I’m excited about lid dispensers b/​c I’ve never seen these before anywhere. And like I said, I’m in a deep, committed relationship with the Chick!!!
This location doesn’t have a drive thru– you can always go to the one on Greenville if you are looking for a drive thru. You know, the one where you actually wait on the service road during lunch time to even get into the parking lot.
I’m a HUGE fan — check them out! And remember they aren’t open on Sundays. I’m a fan of that… but i always seem to want it on Sundays!
