China King Super Buffet II

This place was a horrible and an over priced experience for the given services. My cousin decided she wanted to try this place out so even though I had eaten right before, i accompanied her. She got her first plate and I decided I wanted to try a piece of the Orange chicken. After I had finished and proceeded to talk to her (not eating anything else), one of the workers came up to me and rudely asked me if I needed a plate because I was eating. I told her I didn’t and that I just wanted to try the chicken. She then went on to argue that I needed a plate and that she was going to charge me for that. She didn’t, but the whole situation was inappropriate and rude. We also felt rushed because one of the workers kept coming around to get my cousin’s plate even when obviously she was not done. Her check was also given to her before she had clearly not finished.
Now to the food. My cousin loves to eat. The pudding left a sour after taste. Everything she tried was dry, hard, or stale. It was terrible. It’s one thing to take into consideration when a place is about to close, but we were here about 3 hours before closing. Unacceptable.

I was terrified to eat here but my aunt insisted. My previous buffet experiences keep me away from them all, but I couldn’t be rude. There were many Asians eating here which is a good sign. To my surprise, the grilled chicken on the stick, garlic green beans, grilled shrimp and chow mien noodles were good. The orange and honey chicken weren’t to my standards (go to Panda express instead). The price tag was a shockingly $ 10! They even had a Mongolian grill area that I’d try if I was ever forced to come again.

Typical american chinese food, small selection compared to New New Buffet. The price is ridiculous considering the selection and the quality for a chinese buffet.
They will also tell you drink is included then charge extra for the drink.
