I had the best homemade potato soup there the other day. I was impressed that they make their soup from scratch! I normally get the Southern sandwich– I love the sauce they put on it– it has a kick.

Looks the other reviews echo my thoughts on this place. I’ve only come here for bagels. They have about 3 flavors: plain, blueberry, cinnamon raisin. The bagels are fine. But I did walk away feeling like a sucker today. Because as I passed Starbucks, just down the hall, I realized that a bagel there would have been cheaper and would taste about the same. They have a bunch of sandwiches– but once I start reading the descriptions none of them jump out at me. I am intrigued by the take-home-and-heat-up dinners. Haven’t tried them yet, and I think they are a dollar or two more than Central Market– but it is faster. Paying for convenience, I suppose.

Overpriced and Horrible… 2.75 for a simply orange orange juice, place smells.

Slightly skeptical at first, but a big fan now, Chow Baby is creating grab, heat and eat family style meals that rival Central Market and Eatzi’s. The major plus here is that you can grab it on the way down the escalator to your car and save a stop on the way home, spend more time with the family, your dog or your TV. I never thought I’d say this about any other microwavable food except popcorn, the chicken encheladas are awesome! Other winners include the skinny chicken(didn’t taste skinny) and pot roast is right up there with the Black Eyed Pea(especially good with jalapeño mash potatoes). I hear they are converting from a kiosk and taking over that old Benny’s Bagel space to offer breakfast and lunch as well as the grab and go dinners. Looking forward to something new down in the tunnels!
