I love the food it always hits the spot. I love everything about this place down to the fact they have Selena memorabilia all around the restaurant. Only thing is they could be a little better on their customer service.

Don’t understand all the Selena magazine pages cut out and taped up everywhere. Morbid in my opinion, the burger is good and the price is decent, but all the clutter makes you wonder about cleanliness!!!

Better than a fast food joint. Burgers are are good just wish the meat was thicker. Onions rings are great. Love all the memorial stuff of Selena.

Country Burger is the Onion Ring Promised Land. Rare is it to find onion rings this perfect. You know the kind of rings I’m talkin’ about: golden, crunchy batter on the outside. The best part is when you bite into them, the onion actually breaks off, so you don’t get hit, or possibly scalded, on the chin with the rest of the onion. You actually get tasty onion in each bite. They are perfect. The burger is a standard burger. The fixings were fresh, and the Country Burger was around $ 2.50, so it’s a good price. They do have a drive through, but if you do that, you miss the interior experience. The drive thru-window is a nice option to have, although it can be a bit dicey getting to from Hampton if you’re coming from the south. This is a great burger option in Oak Cliff, and quite possibly the best place to get onion rings south of the pearly gates. Indeed, the land of milk and honey also has onion rings.

This place is great if you are looking for your typical fast food. It wasn’t the greatest burger that I have ever had but it did get the job done and the portions of fries were quite large. I went on a Friday night and the service was very fast and friendly! I would recommend springing for the large drink because they do not offer refills. If you grew up in Texas you know about Selena, the tejano singer, and if for some reason you didn’t know about her before your visit then you sure will after. This place is decorated everywhere with Selena posters, dolls, etc. that alone made me want to give this place a 4 star rating.

If you want a good, old fashioned style burger in Oak Cliff, this is the place. No fancy ingredients, just good a good olé burger and fries. Certainly worth a try!

Oak cliff’s hidden gem for old fashion burgers. Burgers are delicious and consistent. Don’t let rough exterior fool you, if you are in the mood for a burger, fries, or onion rings, this is the place for you. Laid back place, nothing fancy just good burger joint! If you like sweets, treat yourself to a small apple pie pocket, never disappoints!

For what it is — JUST fast food — it’s not bad. Veggies on my burger are always fresh and I like the tater tots in a cup. Makes them easy to eat in the car. I don’t understand all the negative reviews about this place. It’s good for fast food, but its certainly not gourmet. Feels good to support the small guys too, not just mcburgers.

Good old-fashioned hamburgers and hang out back in the days with those crispy onion rings.

so i havent been here in years so i was starving and decided to stop by for a big juicy burger i know they are famous for. the last time me and a friend ate here we got sick so i was kida iffy about stoping but i was craving a burger from here. the drive thru is a lil ghetto, but anyway so looking at the menu finally decided what i wanted eventhough i already knew in my head what i wanted. so the lady taking orders in the drive thru was rude and was basically like what do you want? so i gave her my order and waited at the window. the food didnt take too long but i was just not happy wit the attitude of the lady taking orders she made me really not want to come back here again, which i probably wont unless im really craving it.

Have tried them twice. Burgers average for the price. Fries were below average… thin and really nothing special. For the price… In and Out burgers are better. Fries at Wendy’s are better. Also…they always stick everything in a bag when I come inside to eat. I ended up getting my own tray and setting up my food on the tray from the bag.

If you are looking for hand made patties from fresh ground beef, or freshly cut fries from fresh potatoes then this is not the place for you. Everything is frozen and dropped in the fryer when ordered. This is your basic fast frozen food.

I frickin loved the whole experience and food here. I even saved room for hand dipped Dreyers ice cream double scoop in a waffle cone. I had a cheeseburger, and shared fries, tots and onion rings with the table. At first glance I thought they nickel and dimed too much for charging .25 or .50 for water and ice. And .50 for refills. It turns out they didn’t charge me for refill, so maybe it depends on their mood. Anywho, this place is now on my lunchtime rotation. Even though the wagon wheels are off putting, I can look past that for the yummy burgers.

Love the Selena tribute. It reminds me of my younger days. But anywho… the burgers are ok, fries are eh… nothing spectacular, and nothing that stands out. ¾ star for Selena, and ¼ star for Los Dinos… get it… Selena y Los Dinos lol… I crack myself up.

Drive-through dinner at this O.C. curiosity yesterday, optimistic based on the previous reviews, but the reality was disappointing. Maybe you need to experience this place inside, with all of the Selena kitsch and pinball machines, because the burger I had was dry and completely unremarkable. Perhaps if I got to eat it while looking at the impressive collection of «Homie» figurines I would have been given the true Country Burger experience. For some reason, the tater-tots were served in a styrofoam cup, which really pissed me off. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that. Burgers are not difficult, so when someone says that X place has a «good burger,» you’re really not saying much. But a dry, overcooked burger is like a missed P.A.T. — embarrassing. I won’t be back to the Country Burger. 2 stars because at least it wasn’t an expensive piece of overcooked meat, and at least they didn’t spell«Country» with a «K».

Let me tell you about a little place called Country Burger, or as I will refer to it, The Church of Saint Selena. You remember Selena, the latina singer who’s death launched Jennifer Lopez’s career. This place is wallpapered with Selena posters, artist renderings and even a magazine photo of the late singer in her casket. Getting hungry yet??? You should be. Did I mention the Dirty Harry and Guns-n-Roses pinball machines or the impressive collection of «Homie» figurines displayed behind the counter. Wait a minute… I just did.

This is Oak Cliff’s best answer to «Where do I get an old school greasy spoon style burger?» Great prices and great burgers.

The key to a good burger is the grunge factor, in my mind. Country Burger is high on the grunge factor. From the scarlet red painted wagon wheels lining your path, to the«picnic tables» you sit at, to the always loud broadcasts of Mexican TV Novelas, you know this is a grungy place. The burgers are tasty and huge. The bacon cheeseburger in particular is fantastic, juicy, greasy, cheesy, and sporting a nice hunk of bacon. And you can get jalapenos put onto anything(another good sign). Their shakes are nothing special. The tator tots are much better than the fries, in my opinion.
