Nice boutique shop in West Village. It’s not just western wear — it’s cool wear. A rocker(like me) can find something here just as easily as can a country guy or gal. This caters to high-end shoppers, so look elsewhere if you’re looking to pinch pennies. Men’s shirts run $ 115 and up. The few boots I perused were in the mid-$ 500 range. Staff are friendly. Shop has a nice feel with more rock than country memorabilia. Hey, if it’s good enough for Steven Tyler, then it must be fine!

Cute store. Definitely a touristy place to go. Shirts run about $ 50+. A lot of rhinestones and sparkles. Its the glitzy«country» version of Affliction. They custom make boots if you’re looking to create your own style. The base price starts around $ 400 for the exotic leathers. If you don’t like dirt and horses but want a country look that stands out, this is the place for you!

love this little shop. the name says it all. keith the owner is very good and helpful. on a recent trip to dallas, i purchased two amazing looking boots… not the kind to wear to texas senate… but hey, you’ve had plenty of loud folks there anyways. (check out the picture on my page). two pairs of boots, and three cowboy shirts to be precise… who says iranian borns can’t be more cowboy than dallas highland park villagers… they cater to customers with good taste, kinda funky who recognize and want quality… not cheap… but for that you go to some western outlet — don’t you? mehran(of chicago)

I would never shop here. Wait, let me rewind. I shop here for other people, not me. But if I were to ever want some sweet ass cowboy boots or a Cowboy Cool tshirt, I know where to go. They’ve got everything from kitchy mod western wear my grandfather would be ashamed of, trendy-but-not-functional-on-the-range boots, hats with Texas logos and«authentic» looking designs on them, and a lot of other douchey stuff — but strangely, I thought it was kinda neat. I’m not sure why but I just like this store… I just do. I have to admit though, the sales people were really nice and super helpful. I tried to buy a hat for my good friend Nish N in a medium, and the sales clerk steered me towards a large because of the way they ran. Small things like that, rather than her just making the sale, really make the difference in a purchase. Beware though — the prices will getcha if you don’t look first. The cowboy hat I purchased rang up at $ 55, and most items in the store matched that price point.

Damn, if you are a cowboy that shops in this store then I am sure you look freakin FIERCE but I am also sure that you are either rich or broke. The clothes in Cowboy Cool are more for the«rocker» cowboy look and they do have some badass boots, belts, shirts, jewelry, and hats. There was one purse there that had a studded skull design on it that was soooo awesome I immediately picked it up and thought«oooh I want it!!» BUT it was $ 875. Drive on. If you happen to be a rich rocker cowboy that does shop there and you want to buy me something, I am game… I want that purse!
