The absolute worst service ever. The young people working there have no concept of customer service. They work hard but are unaware of their surroundings and what’s going on at their tables. They’re always frantic and sweating but nothing is really getting done. I eat out twice a day and have for the last 15 years. I eat here often and tonight I could not even get served. After 20 min, my only option was to walk out without even speaking to anyone. Good luck and have fun.

Absolutely love this place! They have live entertainment in a cool bar and grill atmosphere, excellent service and the food is done in a crawfish broil type way. Best crab legs I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back.

Loved it. Ate there w my boyfriend earlier and thought the service was great, flavor was great, and the environment was good. They had a live guitar player/singer so that’s was unexpected but pretty cool. Also the crawfish was only $ 5.99/lb, which is a really good deal. We also got a basket of fries, lb of shrimp, corn, and a lb of snow crab. Our bill was around $ 45, which is totally fair for all the food we ordered. Will be back for sure!!!

I visited the Crab and Claw last night, and was extremely satisfied. Huge bags of boiled seafood, great seasoning, terrific helpful staff, and this is now my new place for seafood boils! Awesome!

I am going to give them five stars. I really feel as if it was well earned. I took my oldest son here for his 30th Bday.(per his request) He has visited before, this was my first visit. We are a large family, that said we kept the waitress very busy. So busy I tipped $ 60.00 My bill was around $ 225.00 and worth every penny. Other family members ordered and paid their bill and tip. We ordered almost everything on the menu… lol The waitress and other staff were great! They kept smiling faces and never a frown. They ran back n forth from the kitchen to our table, they really went the extra mile. I love good customer service. The food is very affordable, we just wanted to try everything. The Food. Catfish= Not good. I would prefer it if they cooked fresh catfish. I did not really dig the catfish there. Fried Shrimp= I did not care for any of the fried foods minus the french fries. Something about the batter it was more of a batter that you use for food at the State Fair if that makes sense. Tasted like funnel cake batter. I think if they upgrade the batter to a more cornmeal and flour based and used fresh catfish it would do them justice. Combo =Very Good. 1LB of snow crab &1LB of king crab, 1LB of shrimp 1LB Sausage with 3 corns and Potatoes(Corn and Potatoes are a la carte extra $) those two items are not included with the Combo boil, I think it should be. This was very good, they give you huge sliced sausage and everything is hot n fresh and seasoned well! The boiled shrimp are a large, very good size. I just don’t care for wild caught with all those whiskers on them. I would rather they remove the whiskers, I do not like to see that. Cajun Fries =Very Good Hush Puppies= Ok. I learned that all the boiled food was very good and hot n fresh. The fried food, I did not care for due to the batter and not using fresh catfish. Also the center of both the shrimp and fish were gooey. The shrimp was very large… that I liked! The restaurant was very clean and so was the restroom. The kitchen looked very clean. They have wine and beer only. No mixed and or frozen drinks. The staff really goes out of their way to please you and smile a lot! My family and I have decided to go back again. We know this time to order only the boiled food with NO fried food unless they use fresh catfish and change the batter. Really great place to take the kids and family and eat seafood at a good price without breaking the bank. I hope this helps.

If you are a fan of boiling crab minus the saltiness and msg like seasoning, I would definitely give this place a try! I’m pretty health conscious and I thought this place was pretty fresh and used just the right amount of seasoning that did not overpower the freshness of the ingredients used with their shrimp, crab, oysters, etc. For starters, we tried the gumbo soup and it was perfect! I’m not a native Texan or Southerner, but to me, their gumbo was flavorful and fresh yet not too salty or overly seasoned. I absolutely loved it!!! Good portions too! We also ordered the oyster basket which came with hush puppies and fries. Oysters were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Their fries were the best fries I’ve tasted anywhere! It was a basket full of deliciousness. if that’s even a word! Finally, we ordered the combo with shrimp and crab legs with bang sauce! To me it was the perfect balance of salty, tangy, and buttery! You can tell they use good sauce/powder for their sauce because it doesn’t make you crave a liter of water after you finish your meal! The only reason for docking a star is because their lemonade and coleslaw was so so. I wish they had fresh lemonade like chick fil a… It lacked lemon flavor. Also, they gave us coleslaw which was good, but it was way too sweet for my liking. Other than that, the food, ambiance, and service was good! Writing this review is making my mouth water… we are having it for dinner tonight! Lol

This is my third time here. Every time I’ve been here its always been great. This is my first time getting crawfish and its pretty good. I always order the family special deal 1lb king crab legs, 1lb shrimp 1lb sausage and it comes with fries. Its so cheap and it feeds 4 people. I always order other sides with our combos and It is always plenty of food. For a seafood place it is pretty reasonable in pricing. Atmosphere is pretty relaxing and divey. I always get C&C Bang(mix it all) extra spicy and its pretty spicy here. Btw. Extra spicy is definitely extra spicy! I eat super spicy so I am absolutely satisfied. Definitely recommend this place If you haven’t tried it yet. Not your average plan boil seafood. This comes with a toss so its a must try. My favorite way to eat seafood!!!

Snow crabs were fresh and seasoning was perfect. We had snow crabs which were very fresh and plump. I know for a fact it was fresh because my husband is very sensitive to sketchy seafood and we both loved Crab & Claw crabs. Seasoning was just right– flavorful with just enough salt; this is important to us because we don’t like salty food. Staff was very attentive and friendly– we never had to flag them down for anything. We def will be regulars here.

Not bad. Could use a little more variety on the menu. Fries were excellent, as was the shrimp. Place needs more customers. Hope it can stay around awhile. Service was good. It appears as though they are really trying. Need more independent places like this as opposed to the chain restaurants that seem to be on every corner.

I was so excited to be able to find live crawfish in the middle of December!!! The shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, and crab were really good. The C&C Bang is different from boiling crab because of the Tomato base but it’s still good. The price was reasonable and our server Jasmine was very attentive and easy going.

It wasn’t bad and it wasn’t memorable. Ordered a pound of snow crabs and Shrimp combo for 25.99. Shrimp were cooked with the head on. I’m okay with it, but since you’re paying by the pound it’s presumable that this is a way to add extra weight to the shrimp. They were a bit slimy and hard to peel, but they were okay. The crab was good. The sauces they offer were bland and not very flavorful. Garlic butter was butter flavored oil mixed with garlic powder. Old bay sauce was nothing special. Service was extra attentive. It wasn’t busy so all three servers were dropping by every couple of minutes. Overkill, but I appreciate the attentiveness. They do have some programming issues with their computer so check your bill. My bill was incorrect(overcharged a dollar) so when the server went to fix it and ring in the correct item, the corrected item rang up 3 dollars more than the incorrect item. I sucked it up and paid the over charge as the poor young lady didn’t know what to do. Like I said, nothing special. Would probably go to the Shell Shack before coming back here, but it’s okay.

So I came here with high hopes on getting some good catfish and shrimp for my girlfriend. The price was great and I was excited to grub. Unfortunately I was highly disappointed on some things. My partner loved her shrimp. She enjoyed the seasoning and they were quite large. So she will def be back for more shrimp. However, my catfish was not catfish. It smelled, looked, and taste like straight tilapia. I HATE tilapia with a passion. I went right back in for a refund, he asked why, I said it was not catfish it’s tilapia, and that was it! That’s a little suspect to me. So again I’m on the hunt for some REAL crispy cajun catfish. sighh =/

The four stars«Yay! I’m a fan» is basically what I think of the place. You can order bags of seasoned sea food for cheap and its pretty good for the price. Not the best in town but good for a strip mall restaurant.

Been here a few times and they didn’t disappoint. Love their sauce and you can’t beat the 99 cents beer. Wish they are a little closer to Frisco but I don’t mind driving here once in a while for the seafood cravings.

Delicious Crawfish and Clams! We ordered 3 lbs of crawfish and 1 lb of Clams and cajun fries, and we were very satisfied. We got it Hot and the Bang style, which is everything included and we were very happy with what we got. The fries were hot and seasoned well, and the best thing is their prices were reasonable, $ 6.99 per lb for crawfish– which is $ 2 less than most places. Also, they have great drink specials $ 1.99 for beer on tap, and they bring you your beer in an ice cold mug. They have a cute nautical them and lots of seating. The service was nice, and they would come by and check on us frequently. Definitely would recommend this place to crawfish fans!

DELICIOUS. SEAFOODHEAVEN. This is a new seafood restaurant that recently opened. My friend from work mentioned it was great so I decided to try it out. I ordered a small portion to go just to see what it was like I had the Combo 3(half pound of crab legs and shrimp mild) and a catfish filet. As I was driving home i decided to try the fish OMG it was everything. My taste buds were dancing. I rushed home so I can dig into my bag of treats. The crab legs and shrimp were huge. The taste was great. The seafood was nice and sweet. The sauce was a very good flavor. This place is reasonably priced and they take most payment tenders. The staff was very welcoming engaging. The size of the place is great I hope this review will help you make the right choice. CRABANDCLAW

ok Unilocal!those of you that know me… knows my wife loves seafood & will eat it everyday all day if possible lol since we live in the area… we’re nosey and observe everything that’s popping up lol my wife saw the sign 1st… so the lurking began… watching to see when it was opening! lol construction & all went on for a couple of months &1 day we were actually heading to another spot 4 dinner & i just decided to go by here for«an update»!! «jumps out the car like a lil kid @ disney world» lol… hot dayum they’re open!!! we walked in… of course, there’s no one eating in… people haven’t realized this place is open!!! no wait… score! we were greeted & seated! now… the setup is just like all the other pop-up crab spots here in dallas… wooden tables… butcher paper on the tables… instead of bibs… they give you plastic aprons… crab crackers & scissors… the gentleman took our drink orders & gave us a min 2 browse the menu! they offer similar items as other crab spots & also have combo options. the rates are very reasonable as well. once the gentleman came back… he kept looking at me(i know i’m cute but geesh… lol) …when i tell u we have been to every crab place that we know of in dallas… he used to be an employee/manager at rockin crab… lol and he remembered us… smh we ordered the catfish basket & boiled shrimp, crab legs & sausage w/a side of the potatoes & french fries. since obviously there was no wait… the food came out in a decent amount of time… piping hot & smelling oh so wonderful. apparently the chef was new & didn’t really know how to really season the cajun fries(lawd he put the whole bottle on them… lol)…the manager was very apologetic & replaced them. the food was very good… all seasoned to perfection. now they don’t offer the many varieties of seasonings like boiling crab… but they know how to work w/what their mama gave ‘em lol due to the taste of the food, the location & friendliness of the staff… we’ll definitely be back!!!

The GOOD: –nice nautical theme –nice n friendly staff –Big n good for groups –cozy booths –large portions for the crawfish n shrimp combo. –big, quality shrimp n crawfish size — free bibs and gloves –free 15% off coupon for next time. The NOT as good: –the sauce: needs more sugar, butter, thyme, sage, lemon, lemon pepper, old bay seasoning, n Louisiana cajun seasoning for crawfish boil. It’s all about the sauce and it seems like the seasoning is off. Hopefully it will better next time. #stillmissingmango’sbuttersaucew/Parmesan!

I’d been waiting for weeks for Crab and Claw to open up and when the time came I was more than excited to try this new seafood place located in Carrollton. Upon first entering I admired what they had done to the place. It was cute and nautical themed, but the music was obviously top 40 pop and far too loud for such a small and empty restaurant. I stood by the door for four minutes until the only waitress in the restaurant noticed me. She quickly greeted me and lead me to the nearest table. I noticed what appeared to be the owner of the restaurant in a corner booth on his phone. I ordered a combo with half a pound of crawfish and half a pound of snow crab while my father ordered half a pound of snow crab and half a pound of shrimp. When the meals came out it was just a bunch of meat in a bag. The waitress put some terrifying looking sauce in the bag shook it up and then set the bag in front of me as well as a bucket, crackers, and a pair of scissors. Since there was only one waitress and maybe three or four tables full of customers, getting service was extremely difficult. We had empty cups through half the meal and ran out of paper towels causing my father to get up and find towels from a different table. I could’ve dealt with the poor service and loud music had the food been good but that was not the case. The sauce they had mixed the meat with was absolutely dreadful! Seemed to be some extremely greasy, tomato-based mess, with some chunky unknown substance brewing in it. The only bonus of the food was the size of the crawfish. The shrimp was not cleaned properly, and the snow crab was either severely overcooked or had been sitting for a while, because the meat inside was extremely dry. When I had finally finished my meal I had a red residue staining the skin on my hands and quickly resorted to the bathroom to solve this problem. But of course, there were no paper towels! As I walked out of the bathroom hands dripping and frustrated I noticed what I had assumed to be the owner still sitting in the corner playing on his phone, not checking on a single customer in his new restaurant. All in all it was a terrible experience and I hope Chef Ramsey find them soon because it all seemed to be just another episode of Kitchen Nightmare
