We asked for bread with our dinner and got an eye-roll from the waitress and a couple of slices of Wonder Bread. We had ordered two entrees averaging $ 16/plate, plus drinks. Disappointed.

I have eaten here several times before concerts and we have never had a bad experience. The wait staff is sometimes hard to flag down but they are usually pretty attentive. Check out their drink menu for seasonal specials from the mixologists, always something new and quirky and cutting edge there.

Service was a bit slow tonight. Surprised knowing that this is a holiday week and the Blackhawks are a big draw. Food was good. Shrimp PoBoy is very good, would be excellent if they offered a true shrimp sauce. Thousand Island is not a shrimp sauce! My son had the buffalo chicken salad. Traded some of my shrimp for a bite of the chicken. Very spicy and flavorful. Ordered angus sliders as an appetizer, they did not arrive until after we were half through the meal. Big FAIL!! Portions were large and we had no room for desert. That is ok, plenty of sweets will be consumed during the holidays! Wish I could give a half star. This really rates at a 3.5 but I will round up to 4 on the chart.

We walked in and were greeted by the hostess on the phone for a few minutes before that customer let her hang up. She sat us beside the band’s table which was nice. We had a good view of the stage. Our server Erika(taylin) was super pleasant and warming. She explained the drink menu to us, of which I ordered the cranberry apple mojito. We t was delicious and I do not like the flavor of alcohol so it hit the spot for me. Our server brought out a clean wrapped glass for me to take into the show so I didn’t have to cary a dirty glass around at the show. We ordered the voodoo shrimp appetizer. I would have ordered one for myself if it was a meal. So yummy I lucked the sauce from the plate. I then ordered the shrimp po boy which really hit the spot. The shrimp were beautifully fried and there were so many shrimp they were falling out of the bun. The fries that came with it were delicious. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich which he said was good. The manager stopped by and asked how we were doing. Nice touch but didn’t seem genuine. When we were leaving they gave us directions to the show through the gift shop. When we come back to Dallas, we will be back.

Had an excellent dinner before the Billy Idol concert last night. First time at this venue, but will not be my last. Already looking for a new show to see. Aleesha was Awesome. She gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. My wife and I both give this place our high marks for food and service.

Reserved via OpenTable from Uptown Dallas. Seated by a host w/out any silverware. The nice waitress asked if we want the Caesar Salad first followed by the flatbread BBQ Chicken. They both came out at the same time anyway. Very convenient place to eat if you are going to a HoB show but so are several others great spots nearby. I recommend going somewhere else nearby.

I met a friend from out of state there yesterday, it was my first time there too. He and his wife ordered as well as I after reviewing the menu with some pleasant conversation and it was not too busy at the time. Why I decided to write this review, was the service with drinks only was not that bad. But when you order food, from not that bad it goes to terrible. We ordered some sandwiches and tacos. The order came back after a while, the sandwiches came out wrong, they messed up whole the order, the condiments did not come with the order. We ordered sweet potato fries not the regular fries. They took the regular fries back to make the order right, and brought back the sweet potato fries. It took nearly 20 minutes. After nearly 10 minutes we had to flag drop a passing wait staff to get the condiments, or our wait staff person he took off some where for five or ten minutes. The food was cold. I ordered the build your own burger, she ordered the chicken sandwich and my friend he order the tacos. The burgers are small, the drinks very expensive. They put suggested gratuity on the bill at 15%, 18%, and 20% in addition to a suggested donation to give to music kids. Being there early was no advantage to getting good service it was terrible. They need to impress as this was the first time visiting and now is last time going there to eat. They blew it. So we left and went to the Hyatt– Dallas for a pleasant rest of the evening. *there is no parking unless you use the valet(expensive), there is parking lots in walking distance, you park in your stall and walk to a pay point, then to find out you need the stall number to start your transaction, so you must walk back to where you parked then note your stall 9 and walk back to the pay point and navigate some confusing steps to pay and get a ticket to place in you vehicle, so you walk back to your vehicle place the ticket on the dash so you waste 15 minutes or so if this is your first time there. I also noted there is no «Handicapped» parking stalls available near the pay points.(fyi)

We met some friends here before the Ottmar Leibert concert. We had never been to Crossroads before but our friends said it was pretty good pre-concert food. I made reservations on Open Table beforehand, noting that there was a vegan in our party. The waiter never made any reference to this special request, so I guess don’t bother putting anything in that section if you reserve with Open Table. The waiters were very talkative and attentive, which caught the attention of our friends. They were a little too talkative for me, but they liked it — so… The menu had some different things on it and everyone found something they liked. The Juicy Lucy our friend got was just that. The first bite she took, we swear it was like a glass of water was poured on her. Beware and have napkins ready! :) Our other friend got the bacon wrapped meatloaf, which she absolutely loved. I(the vegan in the group) got the portobello sliders, no cheese. Pretty good, but nothing exciting about them. Kind of dry. No side with them except a few pickles. I expected an order of fries or something, so my large plate with 2 small sliders on it looked kinda strange, like something was missing. The other diner in the group got the club. This thing was huge! And it came with a side of fries. They commented it was delicious but no way they could eat the whole thing(this was a male!) So, on to the big con. We decided to split the bill. $ 129 for four of us. They brought us both tickets in each folder, one with the whole total and then the one that was split. However, at the bottom of the one that was split(on each of our tickets), they give you a handy tip calculation for 15%, 20% and 25%. However, that calculation is for THEENTIRETOTAL — but on the tickets showing ½. E.g. $ 69 bill, tip for 20% equalled $ 23! Nice try!!!

Food was ok. No gluten free options. The waited offered both the kids a drink and they chose sprite. The bill came and the kids drinks were $ 4… 4 freaking dollars for the sprites.

My husband and I visited HOB for our anniversary. The food was good, and the service was great. Our waiter, Crystal, made our experience so enjoyable. We will definitely return!

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. My fiancé and I were attending a concert at House of Blues later that night. My fiancé went to get seated while I got our tickets from will call. 10 minutes later I joined her, and no one had been to the table to take her drink order or even greet her. We sat there for another five minutes while two different waiters walked by and never said two words to us. They were even cleaning tables around us. We decided to get up and go to the bar hoping for a better experience. Nope. The bartender was off in la-la land and seemed«in the weeds» but there were barely anyone there. We were served with a crappy«game day» menu that was crappy food; not the regular menu. Had we known that, we wouldn’t have decided to eat dinner there. He finally took our order… going to the computer to input it one at a time. After I ordered a drink he proceeded to serve three others before finally remembering my drink. When our food came out it was cold and old. We both ended up getting stomach aches later that night. Not sure it was from the food, but judging on the rest of the night it’s a good guess. Bottom line, the service sucked from more than one employee, the food was terrible, and I know I will never eat there again.

My wife and I had dinner at Crossroads before the Lily Allen concert. We were a little stressed about this because there were so many questions and we had no answers, so I am going to attempt to answer all of our questions for you. First is always parking. Their valet is $ 15. But across the street is a parking lot under the highway that they share with Hooters and whatever else is in the area. There was lots of numbered parking spaces and you could even pay with your phone! I called the number posted on the sign and it was actually quick and easy if you had your credit card out and ready to go. There was also a machine you could use to put in your space and pay. My parking cost $ 2.75! Not sure if there was some kind of mistake, but I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at my credit card bill. We were very concerned that everyone that was seeing Lily Allen was going to be in the restaurant eating before hand and when we learned that the reservations were full on «open table», we considered going somewhere else. However, when we got there, there was plenty of room and we were seated right away. They were having another event in the restaurant also, so some of it was even closed off to the public and there was still plenty of seating. The host told us as a result of the private event, they were running a limited menu. In my opinion, the variety on the menu would have anyone finding something they could enjoy. There was a «build your own» burger with a variety of things to make any burger lover happy. There was Jambalaya, salads, chicken etc… It was a very good limited menu. The décor in our dining rooms was very«House of Blues». Pictures and paintings of artists covered the walls. The place just had a «Rock and Roll Royalty» feel to it. I ordered the«build your own» burger with onions, mushrooms and cheddar– medium rare. It came very rare, but it had great flavor and overall I was happy with it. Maybe because I was relieved we actually got in to the restaurant and we were going to be late to the concert. There was also a small stainless steel cup of fries. The fries were awesome. They had some good local beers and a full bar. I had the deep ellum blonde and it was light and went great with my burger. This restaurant is actually connected to the House of Blues. So you are able to walk down some stairs from the room we were eating in and you are right in the House of Blues. There is a smoking area off the back of the restaurant in a patio if you need. For the record, the House of Blues also had a bar menu that they were serving the entire concert. And although the place was packed, most of the people were in seas and down below standing in the general admission area and watching the concert. So the few people that did order the food, got it very quickly and it looked really good.
