As the description of the business is accurate, I didn’t have good results. I went in initially to have a mysterious «rash» on my shoulder evaluated. He thought he could help. I had been to two dermatologist and each had biopsied it, each having no definivite conclusions. The «rash» never went away.
I then asked about the redness on my face, he diagnosed it as rosacia. He said he could improve this also. He tried two test areas on my cheeks. Thank God he did not do my entire face!!! My face blew up and I looked like Sponge Bob with blisters!, for about a week.
He told me to keep it moist with a petroleum jelly, which I did faithfully, and to come in so he could take a look. He was shocked! He told me I had very delicate skin and the face is VERY FORGIVING. He then sent off for some «products» from Newport beach, where he said he was a very good friend of the President of the company. That they said would nourish my face and get it back to health. They dried out my skin!!!
It is now about two months later, and my skin has never returned to normal. In fact, I have actually had a couple of blisters reoccur, which he told me to me to put alcohol on them «to dry them out», which of course I did. He called them acne.
At my last appointment, he said he had talked with his medical director, and shown them my pictures, which he had taken before and during treatment. They said they had never seen anything like it. Granted I have never seen the «medical directors.»
I will say in his defense, he is doing every thing he can to cover his butt. He even went as far as recommending a dermatologist for me to see, and refunded the $ 895.00 I paid for the treatment, at my request. I will see the skin doctor on the 24^th of this month, and the laser guy on Oct. 2^nd.
PS. Did I mention the fact that the receptionist Ronda, is his wife? Not that it really matters, but it is a husband and wife team with no other employees.
If it doesn’t improve I am thinking about pursuing legal action.
