This is a level below Ross now that doesn’t say much but if you a deal finder and ok to dig you can find some cool stuff! It’s so cheap and works for crafts or cheap gifts. I was making a diaper cake and found items to put on it. While I was there I found a nice shirt that I really do like!

I love fashion and being in the industry know how to sniff out a deal. DD has clothing but I have never even glanced at that side of the store. Its the home dec kitchen/bath and personal care items here which cant be beat. Recent purchases leopard skin car mats, plush bath towels & floor mats, faux stone non skid bath mats, faux suede hangers, metallic zebra print hair brush, tin trash tins, Remington shaver, leopard print broom… are u seeing a trend here. All the fab trends are here but at a huge discount price. Oh and check the prices carefully. Often the same item will have different prices so riffle around for the one with the best markdown. Hint: Walk over to the El Rancho Market next door and grab lunch. Rotisserie style chickens are under constant basting of watchful meat market staff. Yummy Mexican breads [pan dulce] are 3 for 1.39. ONE similar pastry in some specialty north Dallas bakery or coffee shop would cost 4 bucks.

I’m not gonna lie. I was a little wary of this place at first and not entirely sure I even wanted to go. However, I am so glad I did. It’s along the lines of a Marshalls or Ross in that they offer some nice labels at a discount price(Kathy Van Zealand purses, for example), while they also offer non-name brands. They have purses, shoes(though not a good shoe selection at all… go to Marshalls for that), clothes and home accessories. l walked out with a coffee pot(nothing fancy, mind you, but it does the job for $ 12!), a set of three tall candle holders(which are really pretty and $ 14), 3 beautiful candles($ 3 each), an iron($ 11), an adorable jean skirt($ 7), and some other odds and ends. The store is clean and fairly well organized given it’s a discount store. I probably would have bought more, but I was trying to stay on budget. They have some cute tops and a huge selection of jeans. It’s definitely worth checking out, but know that it will take time to sift through everything.
