The service is terrible I called to place and order for pick up and they didn’t answer 2x so I called again. FINALLYSOMEONEPICKEDUP but not only that, the lady kept laughing on the phone talking to the other employees and then said«Okay what else» I was very polite. I would give this no stars but that’s not possible on here. Whatever you avoid this Denny’s location please. On top of my order being wrong. I’m just very upset with how I was treated and my food I paid for, not customer satisfaction at all.

We have a soft spot for Dennys, especially this location which is tucked in the midst of all that is uppity Uptown. Is the food the most amazing? No, it is not, but it is good greasy spoon food. Good pancakes, nice people and it is inexpensive.

Are you ready kids? Aye-aye captain. I can’t hear you… Aye-aye captain! Oh! Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob SquarePants! Absorbent and yellow and porous is he! SpongeBob SquarePants! If nautical nonsense be something you wish… SpongeBob SquarePants! Then drop on the deck and flop like a fish! SpongeBob Squarepants! Ready? SpongeBob SquarePants! SpongeBob SquarePants! SpongeBob… SquarePants! UPDATE. My apologies. I accidentally pasted this and posted. Please forgive me. Now that that’s out of the way time for my actual review. This is a great place if you are in need of a quick in and out breakfast fix. Great service and it’s not to pricey.

The service was unfortunately very slow today out of normally very fast pace apparently the staff was short but we even had complications in front of us at the counter to check out the food was good but the service could have been better I would not say this is their normal performance but unfortunately I only can give them two stars this time this was not good for the brand of Denny’s in any stretch of the imagination so I will probably be back only because it’s a routine to eat on Sunday at this location.

15 minutes to even make my drink order, coffee sat empty for 30 minutes, and it took an hour for a plate of undercooked mediocre food to be put in front of me. They weren’t even that busy. Waitress apologized but it sounded almost sarcastic. Avoid this denny’s.

We went here for Sunday breakfast. The main attraction is that prices are very reasonable, even low. Better than IHOP for sure. The food quality is a step or two down from the upscale places that are available in Dallas, but sometimes you don’t feel like dropping $ 50 – 60 for a breakfast. I got the Lumberjack and of course it was way more than any one person could eat. Two eggs, hash browns, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, and muffins. Whew, it was a ton of food. I took some home for another day. The wife got a new menu item called the invisible woman slam. I don’t remember everything but it was a generous portion and the wife liked it. I think there were eggs, pancakes, and maybe something else. After eating all that food there is no way anyone could be invisible, in this life or any other. My eggs were not as firm as I liked and the ham had an inedible part but overall everything was pretty good. You know what you are getting into. That said, our service was fine, no complaints. I would go 3.5 stars and would not be averse to returning at some point.

Great go to for breakfast or a 3am munch out. I got completely full without breaking my calorie goal for the meal. If you’re trying to watch you calories, build your own slam! I got egg whites, turkey bacon, bacon and splurged on hashbrowns(order them extra crispy!) It was all delicious, plus our server was very kind. Their bacon game is kind of weak though, especially for a breakfast place.

Great American comfort foods served fast and friendly. Always something new and tasty to try. I love their wide variety of great burgers. The bourbon bacon burger is shockingly good for a chain. The wait staff here is fast and friendly. They have a new air conditioner! Dallas has a prize in this Denny’s.

I’m writing this review to the manager at this Denny’s location… I did enjoy what I was served and for the most part enjoyed my time there but the waiting staff has to do their job. I wasn’t pleased at true customer service and would appreciate that next time I go.

We went here after a late night show at the performing arts center. We had 20 people in our group. We were accommodated in a matter of minutes. Or server was on point. He had our drinks out fast(with fast refills) and our food out faster than we originally imagined. He made zero mistake and always made sure we were happy and taken care of. For it being 1:30 in the morning he had a constant smile and never seemed flustered!

Came for a long working dinner. Was at the restaurant for over six hours. Ordered several meals during that period. The server on the first shift, Michelle was wonderful. Then, there was a shift change. The server went to the bathroom and did not wash his hands. In fact, he made no discernible effort to do anything hygienically. We alerted the general manager. It does not appear that any action was taken to address the problem. After that, there were a few loud public conversations among the waitstaff that should not have been heard by the clientele. I was offended. Finish the coffee and the work at hand. And went home. It really is a shame. The location and layout of this particular restaurant was perfect for me. I will not be returning.

I’m here at my neighborhood dennys off north central highway close to royal lane. This particular Dennys is really nice and really warm especially with it being really cold right now. However, sometimes it can be really really slow when you are picking up an order on the weekend give or take. However, if you are looking for a quick meal or really really good breakfast I would definitely recommend this Denny’s. They have really nice people and they are very attentive. So come on down to my side of town and chow down.

Let’s be honest. We live in the south & our lives are pretty much over run by local diners. But Denny’s is literally 100 yards from my front door & when some pancakes come calling, Denny’s always delivers. This location is actually pretty quiet & the service is really great making it the perfect place for late night grub or weekend breakfast. The staff is always friendly & the manager, Montréal is such a doll. He always has a smile on his face! I have no complaints for this well-known chain. And while a local diner may have some of mama’s recipes, Denny’s can hold its own in my hood.

Nicest looking & cleanest Denny’s I’ve been to. The waitstaff is attentive & pleasant. Food is fast and consistent. It was better than other Denny’s I’ve visited and far cleaner — anyone visited the Denny’s on Skillman at LBJ/I-635? This location takes a lot of the«greasy spoon» out of the diner with«Fit-Fare» egg white omelets and scrambles that aren’t smothered in gravy or cheese to be tasty. But, my soup was from a can & the so-called«special & new» sandwich I ordered was neither. I’m giving them a whole star because when I asked my waitress if they had any nutritional info she brought out a giant, easy-to-read menu without missing a beat! Yeah! Denny’s Thank You!

Got here about 12:10, ordered a coke that took 30 seconds for them to get, not bad. Then I looked at the menu and decided what I wanted in about 2 minutes. Come about 11 minutes later someone finally comes by and asks if I’m ready. No duh I’m ready, I’ve been sitting here with my menu closed and waiting for you guys for over 10 minutes. Food came out in about a minute because I just ordered the endless pancake deal. Had a total of 5 pancakes, 3 cokes, &4 strips of bacon. The food was alright, but really $ 3.09 for thin slices of bacon?! I got the same amount of bacon w/eggs, mini pancakes, & hash browns from Jack in the Box for $ 2.99. Never coming here again.

Frequently dine at Denny’s. This one is top notch. Great service, food delivered as ordered. Asked for Togo order. Food brought out at end of meal, hot and perfect, condiments included without begging. Coffee was excellent unlike the other famous chain. Our pancakes were thoroughly cooked, also unlike the other famous chain.

Denny’s restaurants are highly variable, as travelers well know. Since an appealing remodeling last year(the same design you’ll see in many of the North Texas stores), this is one of the good ones. The waitstaff is prompt and friendly, and Denny’s(‘s?) menu has improved remarkably, with such tasty additions as optional dark roast coffee, a smashing chicken avocado sandwich, and several«Fit-Fare» egg-white omelettes and scrambles. My favorite breakfast is the Senior Fit-Fare Omelette(which they’ll sell to anyone), and it consists of an egg-white omelette with spinach, cheese, and pico de gallo(salsa), a bowl of oatmeal, and a large cup of fruit(chunks, not canned fruit cocktail). You cannot buy a healthier breakfast at this price anywhere. Oh, one thing. Apparently waiters are required to serve a slice of pie with a SOUPSPOON, whether there’s ice cream with it or not. Denny, baby, I don’t know where you picked that up, but just stop it and bring a fork.

Oh, Denny’s. You card. Not gonna lie, I frequent this Denny’s a bit more than any human being was meant to. I could lie and say its only because I live within a half mile of the place, but I believe in transparency, Dear Reader. First off, I have little to no complaints against the waitstaff. Every time I’ve gone in, they’ve been great. Friendly, quick with a refill(as a Diet Coke addict I’m always impressed on how quickly they give me a fresh cup as I slam away. I’m almost positive its because they pre-fill them when they see me coming). And while they’re friendly, they don’t smother you like a lot of restaurant waitstaff do. The food? Welp, its Denny’s. Don’t come in here expecting some hoity toity bollocks other than your basic sandwiches, appetizers, and yes, burgers. Lately, they’ve been having a Hobbies theme menu which excited me more than it probably should have. That being said, The Ring Burger is absolutely massive and actually pretty good. If you’re into that sort of thing. You want some of that fanciness you can just take your a– back to Olive Garden, you pompous jerk. Its 24/7, so there’s that. Its great for late night trips if you’re drunk(and how!), suffering from insomnia or just have a late night foot craving. And while they may be crowded during the day, odds are you’ll find a seat. Honestly, as far as Denny’s go, this is one of the better ones. ESPECIALLY after being modeled. At times the younger manager gets kind of annoying(really my only complaint, but bearable), but really its a decent place. Also, the coffee is pretty good. After all, I DO keep coming back.
