Denny’s

All the reviews are true, slow service, dirty, undercooked food, long long wait for food.
We waited 45 minutes for drinks, another hour for food, waitress said at least 20 times” your food is coming up now, she lied, no food and longer wait.
I truly believe this is the worst Dennie’s in America! Bar none
As we finally received our food, there was green mold on the toast, I kid you not… real, fuzzy, green mold on the toast.
We walked out, 2 hours spent and we are disgusted.
DO NOT EAT HERE

If I could give a lower score I would.
My food came after 40 minutes, one egg was under cooked and 5he other over cooked… how do you do that.
service was horrible there are better places in the area

Bad service, bad food, rude management, dirty and full of flies. I would rate it zero stars if I could.

My 5 stars are based on the sliding scale that this is a diner and not a steakhouse.
11:00 am on Saturday, busy but the wait staff is smiling! The open kitchen has a nice diner feel, I can see the cooks and they do not have scowls (trust me from years of restaurant work, this is rare). As new guests enter they are immediately greeted, and I see other customers leaving who seem satisfied. I also love all the windows and open feeling of this location. I like this one better than my local Denny’s.

I feel so disgusted right now.
I left not quick enough to see a Roach crawl up behind my sister. To make matters worse, the mgr says sorry but they just bombed last night. REALLY? Omg
Why is this place open? I can’t imagine how the dishes or other supplies were affected by this travesty.
Thank you for the awful reminder why I never liked Denny’s in the first place. I won’t be coming back

Dennys are always hit and miss, especially in certain neighborhoods. While this is not the best neighborhood in Dallas this Dennys is awesome. The workers are super friendly and look like they enjoy there job. I enjoy sitting at the counter because I can hear them talking and laughing and having fun which is very inviting as a guest. The food quality is great, always hot food, coffee is tasty and place is clean.

The food was standard. My waitress was lacking in service I had to get my refill myself twice. As we are sitting at the window I notice someone pulled into the handicap parking. The person had no hang tag or license plates to reflect they can park there. The person exited her vehicle I seen its a Denny’s employee… Humm.

My group came here for a quick lunch to save money over convention food. That was a horrible mistake. After taking our order, we never saw our server again. Empty drinks on the table for over 30 minutes. Items were subbed on our appetizer platter without asking our consent. When we complained about that both the server and the manger were extremely rude. They finally took it off of our tab, after fighting with the manager for 5 minutes. I would strongly recommend against coming here.

At 11pm there are not a lot of options around the area, not even fast food. I was lucky to find anywhere open this late in the evening. The 4, 6, 8 menu is a decent value. I got the classsic burger for 6 bucks with seasoned fries on the side. Food came out fast and the burger was decent. Fries came out hot and crispy. Got my food to go so cant really comment on the service.

They had great food and service they also played espn on the tv witch was really cool I also got something in the claw machine

We were in town for the world’s largest cheer competition. We ate here the Friday night before the competition. They were hopelessly unprepared. We told the servers and manager on duty that this would go on until Monday morning. They are sandwiched between 4 large hotels. How can you not have enough servers when you’re located around all these hotels near the convention center! So here we are back in Sunday night. It’s 10:45, there is an hour wait because they are SO short-​staffed. Half the tables in the restaurant are empty because they won’t seat anyone. They aim they don’t have enough servers to have all the tables filled. The owner of this restaurant is leaving a lot of money on the table.

Great service, great food! Restaurant was clean, quiet and comfortable.

This 4-​star rating is comparing this Denny’s with other Denny’s. I had Quick prompt service and the food was just as I ordered. That’s all I expected for something to eat when I wasn’t in the mood to spend $ 30 for a meal at the hotel across street.

Our service was slower than molasses close to 3am on a Saturday night. There were a couple of other groups there, but definitely not enough people to warrant a 20 minute wait to get our freaking check.
Also, my table got pretty much completely ignored by our waitress, who on the other hand did not fail to engage in friendly banter and otherwise be, you know, a waitress, to my other table of friends.
The only reason this place gets two stars rather than one is that the food tasted absolutely amazing to me at the time. But that was probably because of the ample, um, liquid precursor to that meal, as well as the fact that I hadn’t really had dinner.

This place is a dump, customer service sucks big time. Your order is not made right, or your missing part of it. The employees dont know how to handle stress under high volume. I dont recommend anyone coming out here.

Hey — it’s Dennys right? Quick seating on a Friday morning, food came out fast, it was inexpensive, they didn’t mess anything up.
It was right by our hotel too.
It was a good choice for breakfast, and better than the hotel food!

This Denny’s may not deserve a five star rate, three and half maybe. I just want to make the reviews here look better. IT IS REALLY NOT THAT BAD! After reading the reviews «avoid this place at all cost» on Unilocal,I decided to go to Buck’ Prime to have my lunch. Unfortunately, it was closed on a sunday morning. Since there was no other place to go, my wife and I had no choice but to go to this Denny’s. I expected it would be a painful two-​hour lunch experience at first according to the reviews here. But our service was actually really responsive: 1-​min to have water filled, 3-​min to place our order, and 10-​min later we were enjoying our skillet and sandwich. I saw many people came here to have their sunday breakfast or brunch. Those people really should stand up for their Denny’s on Unilocal

This review I hate to give because Denny’s has always been a staple to my late night drunkeness since I was a kid in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. the service was slower than hell and not like the restaurant was packed either. Some of the servers were just bsin and cutting up with the staff while I had to go get myself napkins and a refill. I overheard one table request a drink and the server replied, «you ain’t my table». Lastly, the doublecheese bacon burger was pretty good for greasy spoon and came out relatively fast, filling and juicy with a good order of fries.

For convenience since it’s right there next to the Ramada. But the service there is sometimes really good and sometimes really bad. Other than that, it’s like any other Denny’s.
Oh yeah, the AC isn’t so good though.
