I know, it’s Denny’s, and I am quite picky about my food. However, I always stick to the basics. Decent burger and fries. Yesterday, I called in a club sandwich, and it was very good! The bread was some kind of nice sesame seed, the bacon on the sandwich was good, as was all the other ingredients. The seasoned fries were delicious. The service is always good, the ladies are efficient and friendly. I am happy to have this in my neighborhood.

It’s Denny’s. Shenna, my waitress, was awesome. All 3 stars are for her service. She was attentive and engaging.

My time of visit was noon. I went with my parents. Upon entering, there really isn’t anyone to greet you but a few signs that instruct you to find a hostess to sit you. It was about 3 minutes before someone finally showed up to a cash register and saw us. She walked us over to a table that had not been cleaned since the last party left. When she saw the condition she stumbled to find a rag. My mother suggested we take the table next to it, and she obliged. Another waitress came and took our drink orders. Upon returning she immediately asked for our food orders. While I felt rushed, we ordered anyway. The first cup I received was grimy and disgusting. I instead asked for a glass of water. This cup was in better condition, but it didn’t seem clean. I ordered the country fried steak, fries, and broccoli. My parents orders came quickly and they seemed appealing. Their coffee cup was only refilled once, near our departing. My order took an extra 5 minutes. Upon receiving it, it had too much gravy piled upon it. There was also a hair in it. Another waitress passing by asked if everything was alright. I explained the situation, and she immediately apologized and took my plate. However, we could hear her yelling in Spanish.(I’m not sure if she knew I understood Spanish or not., but she tried to suggest it was my hair.) They remade my order, which took another 15 minutes. By this time, my parents were nearly done with their meal. I finally receive my order. It has a nice gravy to steak ratio, no hair, however my sides were no longer the ones I had ordered. Since my parents were nearly done, and I didn’t want them to have to wait on me, I decided to overlook it. They previous waitress took my fork, and so I had to wait for, yet another, waitress to ask for a fork. Needless to say, I never received the fork. Instead, after about 10 minutes, the original waitress came over, left the ticket, and asked if there was anything else. I asked for a to-go box, seeing as my parents were finished, and I still hadn’t started eating. She brought me a box, however, they charged additional for cheese on the broccoli which I didn’t order, didn’t get the first time, and didn’t get the second time. By the time I was actually able to eat my food, it was already cold, and not very appetizing. My mother also visited the bathrooms and explained that they were filthy. Overall, it gets a second star, because, for the most part, some of the waitresses are kind and hope you have a nice meal, even when they’re not the ones getting the tip. It also beats ANOTHER Denny’s location where I didn’t get the correct order after attempting to order three times, and the water had stuff floating in it. At least at this location, the food was technically edible.

The place was dirty. The ground in, been there forever kind of grim. Rest rooms were filthy. We won’t go back.

When I walked in the place was okay. It was decent. The waiters were very kind and help full. I started off with a glass of water while I looked over the menu. The waiter kept coming and checking if we were ready constantly. And when we were ready to order the waiter kept telling us she doesn’t recommend it. So when I asked for something else she said she wouldn’t recommend it either lol finally she said the only«alright» meal was the steak. So I ended up getting the steak. Lol so overall the waiters are helpful but the food is «alright«she did mention that it depends on who’s the cook on the day you go… Soo I’ll leave it up to y’all if you want try it lol

After driving around looking for a place to eat after going to the Opera in Ft. Worth the only place we knew was open was Denny’s close to my home. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been to a Denny’s but was surprised that they did have a number of things I can eat on a gluten free diet. I had the Philly Cheese Steak Omelet it was fabulous! Tender juicy pieces of prime rib tucked into the omelet with peppers, onions and melted Swiss cheese. Loved it and almost tempted to go back today for breakfast but over slept. It came with a side of hash browns and toast, when I told the waiter«hold the toast» he kindly asked if he could substitute something else? I asked for fruit and was served a small dish of fresh cantaloupe, apples, grapes and strawberries. With so many restaurants in Dallas it’s hard enough to choose and chain restaurants are usually just not my thing, but I think on occation a craving for Philly Cheese Steak Omelets could draw me in.

It’s Denny’s so you know what to expect food wise… The reason for the 2 stars is the terrible service at this particular restaurant. Granted, there are a few good members of the waitstaff, but mot are not friendly or welcoming. Also, good luck on getting greeted when you walk in…

It’s chain food. It’s not fine dining of any sort. It IS comfort food and we eat here late dinner and breakfast everyday the weekend of North Texas Irish Festival. Service is usually competent though often slow(slower than usual tonight). Prices aren’t too bad. Nothing here is good for your diet, but it’ll fill you up in a satisfactory way. This store is usually pretty clean too. I’ve noticed in the last couple of visits they don’t seem as busy, but maybe we’re just hitting it at the right time.
