It’s got a huge selection, I had a gift card so I stopped in to see what I could find. Probably would’ve bought a lot but in the ten minutes I was there I got hounded by sales people probably ten times. I don’t like that. The last time they approached me I ended up putting my product down and politely leaving the store. Greet me, be approachable and available if I have a question. Don’t hound me. I don’t shop in stores where I feel hounded for a sale. I’ll shop at stonebriar location from now on.

Finding clothes to make you feel comfortable and still retain a little bit of style while prego is hard. This Destination Maternity helped me figure out what sizes I needed and what the basics were(leggings, shirts that grow with your belly, etc.) with their all-knowledgable staff. Kat and Michelle helped me in no ‘pushy to buy’ way at all but instead were honest and helped me find what was right for me. Price points vary here but they do a good job separating sections of the store to what your budget is. The only reason for the 4 and not 5 star overall rating is due to dressing room lighting(not very flattering) and the lack of options of practical nursing bras. This is the largest Destination Maternity in the state — highly recommend!

I’m just about 8 months pregnant and have shopped at Destination Maternity a few times over the course of my pregnancy. I shopped at this location for the first time today. Honestly, everything about my experience was great(nice selection, super helpful staff), but then I saw not one but two cockroaches. One was in the dressing room(so fun!) and they other was near the cash register. Sorry, but that’s gross. I’ll shop online or go to another location…

Ok, so I put a tip in, but new to Unilocal so maybe I didn’t do it right. I am newly pregnant and kinda nervous going in my first maternity shop. Lori was very helpful, attentive, and all of the staff were so friendly! The shop has a wide range of sizes and options for any budget, great sales too! I will definitely be back!

As much as I was trying to fight it, I recently had to break down and purchase some maternity gear since the unbuttoned pants rigged with a hair tie is not working(plus its super uncomfortable!) With a name like«Destination Maternity», I was expecting to find everything from evening gowns to breast pumps. Alas, DM does have a pretty decent selection of maternity clothes since it houses a Pea in the Pod(better quality, higher $) and a Motherhood Maternity(everyday pregnant lady clothes) and the prices are not outrageous– around $ 40 — $ 50 for a pair of work pants. I lucked out and found a couple of pairs of shirts and tall/long work slacks on sale(yay!). Now I can inhale AND exhale in my work clothes. The store also offers some yoga classes, but the lady the checked me out was pretty reticent and was not providing much info on those. As for the«non clothing» items in the store, the prices are way too high because these folks know that baby robs you of blood flow to brain making you susceptible to purchasing a $ 50 picture frame. Do yourself a favor and shop with a purpose. Get in and get out!

Kat is truly an asset to the company. Coming in as a prego hormonal woman whose body is changing in ways like I’ve never seen is hard enough– but Kat made me feel like million bucks and spent a lot of time– even tho there were other people around. She knew some serious tricks of the pregnant clothing biz and was happy to share. I would suggest her to anyone looking for some new digs for the ever changing bod. They also offer water, juice, mini LARA bars if you are lacking energy, and they also have a good ladies room. Great for soon to be moms who have to go all the time!!! :)

So I finally broke down and bought my first pair of maternity jeans this weekend. This is more of a task than you would think, because I’m 6’0 tall and very skinny except for my baby belly so finding jeans sucks! After the maternity store in the mall came up «short», I was directed to Destination Maternity. I was in designer, maternity jean heaven! I got a pair of J Brand skinny jeans that fit perfectly and they’re actually long enough so I can wear them with heels or flats, not just boots. The sales lady that greeted me at the door stuck with me through the whole process and helped me pick out the perfect pair. She was so patient, I must have tried on 15 pairs. Anyways, I’m as happy as can be and I know I’ll be back. They also offer all kinds of classes for mommies and daddies to be for about $ 30!

Shopping for maternity clothes in a speciality maternity store is something I found comparable to shopping for a wedding dress. It helps solidify that ‘omg, this is really happening’ feeling. But, instead of looking like a princess in a fancy dress, you still look like you drink too much beer and your pants just don’t fit. Upon my arrival I was immediately greeted and offered something to drink, which I thankfully accepted. The help was very helpful. Perhaps a little too much so. Like the previous reviewer said, they take your clothes to the dressing room and they are on you like white on rice. The lovely young man who helped me also put extra random clothes in the dressing room for me to dry on. Alrighty… They do have a pretty nice selection of reasonably priced clothing. Dresses/two piece outfits for $ 30-$ 40 dollars. Their clearance section had almost nothing but L/XL clothes and I am not a L/XL. Actually, it seemed there was a pretty small selection of smalls in general. They also have Pea in the Pod brand clothing which is stupidly overpriced. I can go for spending $ 250 on an item you can wear for a long time, but for something you are going to wear for 4 – 5 months? You have to be kidding me. The oddest part of the whole experience was the fake belly. Yes, I have a belly, but it’s not exactly a huge one. so I got to strap on a fake one to make sure the stuff I was trying on would work later as well. Strange! Overall, it’s a nice place and I will be back. Plus. they gave me a coupon, so I don’t want to let that sucker go to waste!

I’ll give Destination Maternity five stars, because you’re pretty much garunteed to find something here. They have three stores within the store. First off is A Pea In The Pod, and this section is designer, upscale maternity clothes. The second store is still upscale and has very nice clothes, but at a non-designer price-tag. The third store(I can’t remember which is which — Destination Maternity or Motherhood Maternity) is more casual and low-cost. So — you pick your budget and shop in that area. Their customer service is great, maybe even too good. They offered me water as soon as I walked in the door and probably four more times afterward. They take your clothes as you walk around and reserve a changing room for you. There’s a big tv and couches and also a little kids play area. There’s a nursing section, a plus size section, and a lingerie section. All in all, it is indeed a reliable destination for all things maternity!
