We should have Melissa B.‘s review for this restaurant before actually deciding to eat here. I’d actually rank this restaurant a 2.5, but decided to round down since there’s nothing that stood out. I guess I just missed Mirak so much that I wanted to return to where good meal memories were, to see if there are any lingering feelings towards the location. But nope, I’m over it. The service wasn’t bad, but the food just doesn’t compare to it’s last owner’s delicious menu. We both ordered galbi tang, and much to our surprise… the broths were different in taste. Mine was bland and his was definitely more savory. I don’t quite understand how that could happen. I would be more understanding if the dishes tasted different on varying days. but to have inconsistent tastes on one visit is just something I can’t grasp. Overall, I’ll just have to wait for more reviews on this place before even considering returning.

Pretty new korean restaurant in the K-Town(Dallas/Royal Ln.). I went here twice and had a good experience. They open til 2AM. Good place for a fourth-meal-eater :) First visit, we tried the Korean style BBQ. We ordered too much but it was all good so we finished them. Bulgogi was tender and well marinated. Kalbi was always tasty… Spicy pork was somehow too marinated, the flavor was really strong. Service is great. I like the tiny room for each table. The second experience, we didn’t get BBQ. We ordered some soup but they brought us a different one and turned out REALLYGOOD. I don’t even know what was that called: Spicy, beef, glass noodle, napa cabbage… It’s so tasty! Perfectly blended with the cold weather at that time. Seafood pancake was really tasty. Service is always great. *RECOMMENDED*
