For the first year, they did great. After that, it was like they just didn’t care. We had a flea problem and they fogged the house– mind you I had to vacate the property for 4 hours with 3 dogs on a hot day. We still had fleas. I got rid of them myself with a home remedy. I called them about roaches and they sprayed on the outside of my cupboards by the floor only. Called and made a 2^nd appt for roaches. First the rep didn’t tell me I had to have all my cupboards cleaned out and 2^nd, the guy showed up an hour late and I wasn’t notified. My wife was, but I don’t use her phone. I would NOT recommend these guys. At $ 100 every few months, it’s not worth it!

I literally have NEVER posted reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience with Ecoshield. We decided to use their mosquito services and the told us we didn’t need to be there for the appointment because it was all outside work. We went to the back porch later that night and noticed that nothing had been moved. We have a security camera system, so we went back through the footage and discovered that the tech came and rang the doorbell, made sure no one was home and got back in his truck. He then proceeded to sit in his truck for 15 minutes before getting out to put the «completed» invoice on our door. He did not perform ANY SERVICES and we were still charged. When we called to complain they did nothing to try and remedy the situation, other than offering to send another tech out. It stands to reason that I do NOT recommend this company.

Dallas is not listed as a BBB accredited business, the 1^st email after sale Tyler J Andersen (said he was top sales person and part owner in another state and TX). According to his LinkedIn profile, he only worked as Sales Rep Sales Representative

Tyler J Andersen bait and switch, being told now I have a two-​year contract and Ecoshield will charge me a $ 250 cancellation. Telephone rep said she could lower services to $ 69.
Household has asthmatic household member and late 70’s elderly homebound member.
If you read the email after being approached by door to door sales, you will see 72 cancel, $ 250 24 Month Contract written in white font with green background very hard read and harder to print! Tyler J Andersen did not disclose any of this, wanted to make a deal to get me to try.
I do have a No Solicitation sign at my front door and did fall for Tyler sales tactics.
According to we there was a franchise in DFW before and now they reopened.
In the evening blazing sun you cannot see and read tablet/​smartphone for processing door to door sales tactics

I did at one-​time talk to Dave Anderson cancel my service call and they still showed up and treated my home! I asked the tech why he was there that I cancelled the service call with Dave a few days prior. Tech said he would talk to Dave.
Is Dave Anderson related to Tyler Anderson?
I hate their automated system text/​phone call as they do not allow you to change or reschedule. You have to call the office to do that between 8 – 5 MF.
I have spent more than $ 250 and want to cancel being hassled by office rep. No return phone call from the manager that was busy when I called in.
This franchise will go under if these practices are continued.
I had multiple retreatments and still have some spiders at times. Website sound good, Social Media Marketing sounds good, written customer focus on website sounds good, but marketing, billing, cost, rescheduling … not being able to schedule a specific time 3 weeks in advance because they do not know their schedule not acceptable.
Being lied to by sales/​owner not acceptable!

Ecoshield is a locally owned (franchise) that has just re-​started in the DFW area. We met Tyler R (sales and owner) — he is very personable and knowledgeable on the products and services. He was even truthful in what we need or dont need in terms of pest control. He definitely uses some good sales tactics as he got quite a few of our neighbors to sign up.
The company requires a minimum of 12 months service. One initial and then one 30 days after and then every two months after that is the treatment plan.
We had the initial service completed yesterday and it seems fine at the moment. I will definitely be reviewing again in 30 days and for the regular maintenance services going forward to discuss the effectiveness of the treatment, customer service, responsiveness, etc (which are our main worries for a small shop). So stay tuned!
