My wife went in and found a dining room table and chairs she liked so we went ahead and bought it even though I thought it was way more then it should be at $ 4k. Waited 3 months for the table to be delivered and when it finally gets here I am watching the guys unload it and they drop it. Had I not been watching they would have just let it go. I refused the shipment and tried to call my «design consultant» and she refused to take my call telling me to call customer service. She was real eager to take my money but once I was gone she was too. I called customer service and had to leave a message. This place is a joke, over priced and 0 service. There is a reason no one is ever in the parking lot, avoid it. There are plenty of other places way better.

I agree that Ethan Allen North Dallas customer service is terrible. It’s my first experience with the company and I trusted that a high end store would be customer service oriented or I wouldn’t have done business with them. I ordered a couch which arrived and after 2 months the cushion started breaking down. Since I did not have faith with the North Dallas Store I approached the Frisco store and it was apparent that the manager did value the customer and want to provide the best customer experience. The moment you entered the store it was a total different environment. I explained to the store manager the problem with the cushions and that I was uncomfortable dealing with the North Dallas Store. I did not trash anyone one or the store merely that I was uncomfortable and would it be a problem to work with them. The manager said I could chose to work with whom ever I wanted. I explained the problem and she suggested that the first step would have a store expert come and evaluate the cushion and submitted the request. I was contacted by the expert who made an appointment to come and perform the evaluation. He immediately noticed the problem and stated as a starting point the cushion needed to be redone. He submitted the order/request and the paperwork was submitted to the North Dallas Store. I have not heard anything since nor had my phone calls returned. I have not called the North Dallas Store because I so distrust them. I had also ask the designer/sales person to look for a dinning room pennant lamp. She provided a product that I was happy with and ordered it. I asked her to measure the length from the ceiling to determine how many extenders I would need. She told me to have a electrician do it since they would be installing it. I thought this was totally inappropriate and plain lazy. After looked at the lamp figure closely and noticed that the lamp could not be installed a major modification to my ceiling I sent the picture and told her we needed to talk. She had informed me that at the beginning that wants the lamp arrived it could not be returned. upon receipt of my note she cancelled the order prior to shipment. My question where was she as a «Designer?» Terrible Customer Service. I am very upset and have spent a lot of money on my purchase. I will continue in every way possible to honor their warranty and also get the word and caution those planning on doing business with them.

Awesome! I have saved for years to buy the very best and that is what I got, not only the furniture but the help I got from my decorator who pulled it all together. Terry Dye is the best and she made my vision come alive and I couldn;t be happier. Excellent service every time we use them. They make free house calls upon request. They’re very accommodating to different price points and expectations and kid friendly. Their furniture is very good quality and have good customer service at the corporate level, too. Try them if you have big furnishing tasks ahead.

Ten years and several thusand dollars of being a loyal customer later, I am disappointed not at the designer… but Ethan Allen-Dallas store manager, her lack of response and interest in her customers. I have been trying to get a freakn pillow that did not make it with my order for over four months. This is after enduring six months of ridiculousness after they delivered a couch in a terrible fabric… that in itself took an act of God to rectify. I can’t say I give up on the product, I just give up on this store and this manger.
