The parking lot is $ 5 Valet only(for sure on Saturday night, not sure about lunch hours). We parked down the street for free and just walked up. Checked this spot out on a Saturday night with another couple. The food and cocktails were OK. We had pepperoni pizza and the«Fat Rabbit» burger. I liked the flatbread pizza, but the burgers were overcooked. I asked for medium rare, and ended up with a well done burger. Honestly, even if it had been prepared the way that I asked, it would have just been OK. Our cocktails were tasty, but not great. This place is more about atmosphere. It’s really pretty inside — trendy, but«nice trendy.» I love the décor. They were playing good background music, but it was so loud that friends and I had to shout in order to chat. Our waiter was nice. I’d head back here for happy hour. This restaurant felt more like a happy hour and appetizer spot more so than a place you’d want to eat a full meal. You know…, a cool place to meet friends and do a little«people watching.» I asked our waiter about a staircase in the restaurant. He told us that at 9pm, you can walk up the stairs into a bar/lounge named«Masque.» That sounded cool, but we ended up another bar later. I’ll have to back track and check out«Masque» sometime.

Food is less then desirable, great presentation but horrible taste. I ordered the chicken and waffles bacon and a biscuit. It was just so blah, I should have grabbed snickers. Sadly I’m on a low carb diet so I wasted my cheat meal *insert crying emoji*. The server was and service was forgettable, but she didn’t mess up on the order. A little personality goes a long way and helps in getting better tips. Wouldn’t return unless forced by friends LBVS.

If your looking for nightlife besides the Den at uptown, I would say Fat Rabbit is a great fall back. Around 12:30 a.m. they start playing Hip Hop & R&B, but it really just depends on the DJ. Pretty legit, drinks are kind of expensive though.

Literally the worst service ever. I’m sitting in the restaurant right now writing this. I would rather eat at711 than deal with this service. I’ve had to get our own menus and request a server.

Super fun environment! It usually gets packed so be prepared to bump into others. The drinks are good, and the music is great. They play a variety of genres, so no complaints there. The bar service is really prompt, and their cocktail waitresses are very bubbly and talkative(I like that). I recommend this bar to anyone who wants to bar hop and experience good music and good service!

Okay place that draws a big crowd, but the center bar is inconveniently large, which coupled with reflective surfaces leads you to believe the place is much more busy than it really is when you walk in.

The menu changed. Just so you know. It’s crap. Bar food. Bartender service sucks. We had the original girl who took our card ask us for our orders 0 times. She came back to us 0 times.

Found this place walking uptown Dallas … Wasn’t busy but friendly staff and good local beer selection. Mac & cheese was amazing so was my chicken lettuce wraps. Topped it off with Nutella cupcakes!!!

Good menu for happy hour and regular menu has great choices too. I ate a burger and it was delicious but the fries were amazing!!! Drinks on the happy hour menu were weak but cheap.

I had their Breakfast Burger. Egg, brisket & short rib with the fixings. Super good! The meat was so tender, just melts in your mouth. The food that stole the show, their bbq fries! Seasoned with dry rub, they were prefect. Highly recommended. I also tried their Bellini, that was topped with fresh berries. Very refreshing. They have a lot of drinks to choose from. Lots of televisions & the time I went(on a Sunday) a DJ was playing music as well. Good environment.

Fun time here! We got here during the«club time» way after the food time! We stayed on the patio the entire time, enjoy the pedestrians and just general debauchery that happens on McKinney. The main bar was packed inside so we utilized the girl on the patio for beer and Jell-O shots! Inside was packed! Music was good and played a variety of danceable music. The vibe here is definitely young so you’ll need that tolerance for people bumping into you and standing in line for a dirty bathroom etc. Late night on the weekends… If your 21 – 30, this is your hookup place.

O.M.G. So, first my family and i were down the street at social house for brunch, it was a hour and half wait. so we decided to walk down the street to fat rabbit! Best decision we’ve made all week! I got the chicken and waffles, and O. M. G. It’s the best chicken and waffles I’ve had since I’ve been in Dallas(picture to follow). It was the perfect balance of sweetness saltiness and spice! The bacon and peppers were perfect! The chicken was moist! And the waffles were fantastic! We also had the white cranberry mimosa! Awesomeness! Andy was our server and she was fantastic, Very attentive and nice(even when my father wanted something that wasn’t on the menu). James made sure to check on us during our visit! Food was SENSATIONAL ! SERVICEWAS SUPERb!!! I don’t know where there wasn’t a wait around the corner! This will be my new go to brunch spot!

I think this is going to be a new favorite! I love the décor, kinda classy meets whimsical. Music selection was enjoyable(dj on site) We were greeted and seated right away(party of 5) at 930 pm on a Friday. Our drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. My mixed drink was eh,(watery) but the others at the table were pleased with their selections. The appetizers were also pretty prompt and really good. We had the spicy shrimp and mozzarella waffles. I’m looking forward to the next visit.

This bar/restaurant stands out to me from the rest of the Uptown options. I like the food here. It is much better than your typical pub fare and reasonably priced. The sliders and the tacos are yummy. The beer selection is excellent. They have good options on draft and in the bottle. Extra points for carrying Abita Purple Haze, which is my girlfriend’s favorite. They have some talent behind the bar too. The cocktails they mix here are delicious. I loved the Moscow Mule and the people that I had with me loved the cocktails they ordered. They are not stingy with their pours like a lot of bars are in this neighborhood. They have tables inside and outside. It is nice to find somewhere Uptown with comfy AC in the sweltering summer. Most places that have indoor seating also open the walls/doors/windows which basically defeats the purpose of having air conditioning. Even if you sit outdoors at the Fat Rabbit, the mist fans will keep you cool. The location perfect. It is right on the edge of all the good stuff on McKinney. You can start your night here with Happy Hour and dinner and then walk up the main drag in Uptown and bar hop all night.

My review is on the nightlife and I find it offensive when certain people are turned away at the door for wearing sneakers, but when you go inside, you see about 30 other men wearing sneakers. The atmosphere was nice, but I couldn’t get past the blatant racism here. If you’re going to turn down a certain group for a specific reasons, turn down everyone.

Came here to eat on a Monday night with two girlfriends. The atmosphere is great! The lighting and table layout– I’ve read it gets crazy on the weekends crowd control wise but I mean its uptown what can you do? Great patio too! Started off with shishito peppers, perfectly cooked and comes with salt and lime! They were pretty large too, good quality. Yum! I got the carne asada street tacos. Which were very flavorful with the slaw but the 2 tacos I ate instantly fell apart. Might have been sitting on the tortilla for too long but yeah it was a mess. A tasty mess haha Friends got chicken lettuce wrap and the buffalo chicken flatbread– no complaints!

We came here late night, after a long Sunday Funday… of course now hungry, wanting to feed our alcohol. You can’t miss the brightly lit sign right on the corner, looks like something right out of Vegas! I came in expecting well-seasoned, late night, bar food. We didn’t exactly get that. We started w/the Deviled Eggs, which were the highlight of my night. They were so good! The filling was full of flavor, tasted like spicy, brown mustard. I loved it. For our main courses, it seemed like everyone’s meals at the table needed salt. Not just a dash or a sprinkle, but a couple dashes or sprinkles lol The Lobster Tacos and the Lobster Mac & Cheese had so much potential, but with the salt less, season less flavor, they just weren’t executed. Surprisingly, the next best thing was their BBQ fries, seasoned perfectly to my surprise. Couldn’t stop eating them. A great side. Besides the food, our waitress was… cool. She was nice, but has somewhat of a slick mouth. Then again, she had to deal with my slick mouth best friend. I was shocked though because as a waitress, she did not back down lol. Sort of a smart ass. Not to me though, so I just laughed the whole time lol

We went here for Brunch one day and I was happy it was pretty empty at the time. We went right when it opened at 11& it was also raining outside, so I am sure that contributed to how empty it was because I had heard from various people it gets pretty busy. Thankfully, we were seated right away & the hostess was even able to accommodate our request for a booth. The hostess was very friendly too. For breakfast, I had the Red Velvet Pancakes & my boyfriend had the Fat Rabbit Burger. My pancakes were pretty good. I love red velvet cake & cupcakes, but had never had Red Velvet as a breakfast item before and so I was not sure what to expect. They were pretty good though and I would order them again. I also ordered the buttermilk biscuit to go with my pancakes. The buttermilk biscuit tasted like something they picked up at the grocery store. It just didn’t seem fresh or that they made it there even. They just warmed it up a little, but it was exactly the biscuits you get in packs at the grocery store… nothing special. The day that we went I did not drink with my brunch since I was too hung over, but their orange juice was very good. My only complaint was that it was served in a teeny tiny mason jar with a lot of ice(although the mason jar was a cute touch). The service was ok. If you sign up for their text updates you get a card for a free appetizer, which is cool. I would probably go back to Fat Rabbit to eat, but it wouldn’t be something I crave or would automatically think to go to. Also, I personally don’t think the prices matched the quality of the food and have had other friends who have been here to eat say the same thing to me. Also, I’ve been here drinking on a Friday night and this place was a madhouse… absolute chaos it was so crowded. Would not go back on a weekend night to drink again. I love loud, fun places to drink, but when you can barely get around and are getting pushed by other people it is too much. It was even more crowded than I’ve ever seen Concrete Cowboy &6th St for example.

I came to Fat Rabbit this past Monday night with two other friends to check out their HH specials and see what they had done to Sfuzzi’s old location. Here is my take. The Ambiance It’s a really nice looking Gastropub with rich, warm colors, nice booths, and a big bar. There’s a big patio outside and what seems to be an upstairs section as well. The Service Our waitress was clueless, but it was hard to pay attention to how inadequate she was due to her extremely long finger nails that she kept tapping on the table. Every question we asked her, she had to come back with an answer because she had no idea about anything. Then, she had our checks completely wrong and it took her over 15 minutes to get it corrected. She needs more training for sure. The Happy Hour Special I don’t consider the food to be priced at a HH special because it’s clearly half of the price of the full order. For example, on the normal menu you can get two sliders for $ 8. But, on the HH menu you can get one slider for $ 4. This same pricing goes for all of the other«HH» items and when I called it out to the waitress, she agreed that it really wasn’t a deal, only less food for half the price. The Food and Drinks Whomever chose their wine menu should have done a better job. There are actually wine drinkers that do go to pubs and prefer better quality wines, and the list at Fat Rabbit didn’t have hardly any good red wine options that were decent. The Catfish Taco was so small that I forgot what it tasted like right after I finished it, which was in literally two bites. The Chicken Shawarma was the best thing I had there. But once again, for the quality and amount that you get, it just doesn’t justify the price that you pay. The Margherita flatbread was a waste of calories. It had no life or good flavor to it. There are many better places in the area to go to for both good food and drinks. I doubt I would ever come back here to eat again. I think the food is so over priced for the amount that you get.

We came to Fat Rabbit to eat brunch today for the first time and the food here is delicious. I had chorizo/potato/egg tacos. They came fully packed with ingredients. :) 2 per order. My friends food also looked great but they didn’t share! :(but I was too busy eating mine! I could have ate a second order cause I was so hungry but I’m getting full on the mimosas. I believe they are 15 $ a carafe and all u can drink after but think u need to buy one per every 2 people. I’m not 100% on that. Kelleda is our server today and ate has been great. I notice a lot of «team work» going on which is great to see. I’m gonna give them 5 stars for the way the place looks for one thing. I think it looks very nice and love that they kept the patio area. Valet parking near by. I come here at night too and it’s a good place to get your dance on on the weekends because they have a DJ. ;) I love it the sign too. The restaurants/bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I can’t believe this place has only been open 2 weeks! Great job and hope this place is here to stay. :) come out if you haven’t. So far had the sliders too other night and those were yummy too. Good fries!
