Faulkner’s Cleaners

Seriously bad service. They are so close to where I live I kept giving them another chance. They are cheap– I will give them that, but their hours that they are open are very inconsistent. At least 5 times in the past year, I would go there during their business hours and there would be a note on the door saying «back in 15 minutes». If that happened just to me when I would go by, I can’t imagine the amount of times in total where they just chose to close shop for a bit. When you need your dry cleaning, you need your dry cleaning. One time I had to head to the airport and they didn’t open until 7:45– they are supposed to be open at 7 and I had to buy clothes when I got to where I was flying to since I didn’t have my dry cleaning. There are way better options in the area and I am glad that Faulkner’s Cleaners forced me to find them.

Used them for several months due to proximity, until they laundered a batch of my sweaters — completely ruining 3. They stretched 4 others back to close to the proper size, but the wool is not the same. $ 2000+ worth of damage without so much as an apology.

I moved into this neighborhood about a year ago and this dry cleaners is close to the house. Okay-​first of all, it’s impossible to park there, but my schedule is sort of flexible, so I can swing by during the day. The lady who works in there never learned my name after several trips in. Then, they lost one of my blouses and it took them about 5 weeks and much persistence by me to convince them that they gave my blouse to someone else. After complaining and going in every other day for two weeks, they finally found it. It was mixed in with someone else’s dry cleaning. They NEVER apologized!!! Just kept saying «We never lose anything». Well, I quit going there for a long time, but decided to drop some things off this weekend. I just went to pick them up, and they weren’t ready. The lady said, «You only had laundry.» And I said, «No, I also dropped off a pair of slacks.» She said, «No, just shirts». So, looks like they have now lost a pair of pants. I’m getting ready to go back to see if they have them in a little bit. I’ll keep you posted.
