Love it! The girls are nice and greet you when walk in. They are a little bit expensive but if you can afford to buy a $ 100 blouse, then you can spare $ 5 to get it clean. If you cheap then I suggest somewhere else. They haven’t lost any of my items but did damage a good top. I talk to the girls and the owner and were all polite and apologetic. They sent me the check in about a week or two. I understand stuff happens and they took responsibility. Over all they are good.

Sign says open at 7:00 am. Waited for THIRTYMINUTES to pick up clothes needed for a flight out. Waited with 3 other customers. No apologies, no acknowledgement that she wasted our time, arriving at 7:30 am. This is unacceptable. With the nature of the reviews here, it’s only a matter of time… can’t wait for a new chic restaurant to move in to this space! Bye, Faulkner’s…

I have used them and have never really had any major issues but I stopped in to ask them if they did any tailoring and they had just locked the door and they just shook their head«No.» So I hollered through the door to ask if they did any tailoring or knew of anyone and they still had not stopped shaking their head«No» like they were ignoring me and didn’t even try to help. I understand I got there at 6:01pm and you close at 6:00pm but being a customer for several years, you would think they would have had the decency to help or answer my question. I can see from other posts that customer service is not their strength.

Faulkner’s is okay and we use them when we are crunched for time. Over the years(20), we’ve had a couple problems. One is echoed by another reviewer. At one time, they did give our clothing to someone else. Another time, they washed a hand-woven, irreplaceable alpaca shawl, rather than the dry clean it needed(if I’d wanted it thrown in a washer, I would have done it at home), and ruined a $ 300 work of art. They reliably break buttons, wad-up shoulder pads, etc. and don’t follow up with repairs. When these things happen, no compensation is given. But, as I say, they’ll do in a pinch. Don’t take anything you treasure or anything expensive.

I write a review that was taken down. They’re still charging waay too much with no price list anywhere! $ 15 for a suit other cleaners charge $ 8 this place is a ripoff

I have lived in WH for several years and have used Faulkner’s ever since. I have never had a problem. The only problem is that they don’t have a 5 for $x day.

I tried Faulkner’s when we moved to Oak Cliff. That mistake cost me several hundred dollars. I went to pick up my clothes after using Faulkner’s for the first time. I needed the clothes so I could pack for a big business trip the next day, only to be told I already picked up the clothes. Certain I had not suffered from amnesia I said that I had not. After being accused of lying and not getting anywhere with the staff or owner, I was forced to go buy new clothes. Later that week, they called to let me know someone brought my clothes back. Turns out they give my clothes to someone else. I barely got an apology and no compensation. A mistake I could understand, but their insulting insistence that I had picked up the clothes, having the nerve to argue with me, and call me a liar is just too much. I can’t afford to use businesses like this.
