Fernandez Ernie MD

We had Dr. Fernandez for 3.5yrs before we moved to CA and he was Dr to both my kids. He’s nice, conscientious, and cares about the comfort of the kids who see him. This practice probably has the most efficient pediatric office I’ve ever seen and they ask if you want copies of the records all the time. Also, Dr. Fernandez is very judicious about antibiotics, so don’t expect a prescription for every little sniffle. We loved having him as a doctor and it’s too bad we had to leave his practice behind in TX.

One of the best pediatricians in the area. I really like how the office has created two separate waiting areas so the sick children can be isolated from the non sick kids. The staff here is very friendly and Dr. Fernandez has been around for quite a long time helping so many sick kids in this area. I like that the office is staffed 7 days a week so you can be seen by someone in the practice throughout the week. They do charge extra for Sunday service but it does beat paying to visit the E.R.
I have been here so many times for a variety of ailments and I always leave feeling like I got much more then I paid for. The doctor is always willing to explain any and all questions I might have regarding an ailment or new medicine. The staff is top notch and I have yet to have any issues with billing or insurance filings. The great thing is my insurance pays for those extra Sunday visits so it’s like coming on any day of the week.
