Fiesta Mart

One of the nicest Feista stores I’ve been to. It’s a pretty big store as well. Nice selection of fruit and vegetables to choose from. They sell cooked food at the front-​right when you walk in and different types of smoothies. (And or yogurts) The fruit and vegetable area is huge and leads to the deli part where they sell even more cooked food. You probably can find whatever you’re looking for or need in this store.
What I like the most is that even though this store is normally busy it moves fast. They have multiple lines open and the wait is normal. You won’t have the time to get irritated because it’s busy and it’s only two lines open.(I feel some kind of way when that happens)
Like most Feista stores they do have customer service. You could pay your bills, send money etc all in one store. Makes it very convenient to take care of you business in one location.
Busy inside the store– parking lot is the same way. Enjoy your shopping.

Very long lines at night. Not enough help even though the managers open when it’s busy. I think that maybe the district manager should listen to his store managers. And give them the necessary budget to effectively run the stores. Instead of constant bickering to save a few pennies at the expense of the customer. Obviously someone has become too complacent and has fell asleep at the wheel. Right before blaming it on someone else.
Fiesta has the hardest working employees I have ever seen in my life. But are treated like dirt. They are only given A raise of $.20 per year. The rate of inflation is more than that.
Corporate needs to realize we are no longer in the 1960s
And pay their employees a fair «livable» wage.
But other than half retarded D.O.A’s Think they have the knowledge of God. And H. R managers whole will stab you in the back. Not even have the courtesy to pull the knife out. But other than that the stores not bad.
If you don’t take care of your customers. Someone else will.

I like this Fiesta. It has everything the Ross Fiesta has but this one is a tiny bit nicer despite it also being more of a culture shock with all these things going on near the entrance. Loud music, shoe polishing, balloons, soccer shirts, ice cream shop, cowboy hats — it’s almost like an active and bustling flea market right outside of its doors on a Sunday.
And this place has everything I could ask for. Thank you Fiesta.

This location has a full service Chase Bank inside. It is one of the bigger and certainly cleaner stores in the chain! The produce is always fresh and every item is in a logical place within the store. I take my Aunt there and we are able to make a complete circle around the store and get everything she needs. The only issue is people driving their carts like they drive their cars… CRAZY and over your toes! Other than that, it’s a great store!

I have been shopping at Fiesta marts in dallas since I was a kid. It’s ALWAYS been my choice store to get good, healthy, and CHEAP food.
There are several Fiestas in Dallas — and I have been to them all, but none can compare to this particular one on Jefferson. I used to live in the area, so I shopped at this one for months, and still check back randomly to purchase my fav breads.
The stores are generally clean — with a stand at the entrance with alcohol wipes to wipe the carts. [oh yeah!!!]
The fruit/​veg section is so neatly organized… such fresh produce. Don’t tell anyone this, but I have popped a few date sin my mouth at various points in time. So fresh and yummy! The Avacados are so yummy here. Im an Avacado fan so I know a good avacado. Normally at other stores, the things h ave a green, plant taste, with a hard flesh. The Fiesta ones have that fatty nutty flavour that an Avacado should have. Normally they are ²⁄₁ buck — t hough due to the cost of avacado production, this sometimes rises to 98 cents per avacado. I can find vegetables that i can rarely find anywhere else.
Its like shopping during a festival… music…food carts outside… it a one-​stop shop. Those with Metro PCS can pay their phone bills, one can rent televisoon sets from the rental place… buy jewelry… file taxes… buy concert tickets… but monthly DART bus passes… pay light bills… etc etc etc.
Theres an entire bakery that smells so yummy. So many fresh breads… sweet breads… everything. I load up whenever I go. Its truly worth it. Most of them are around 49 cents each!!!
Theres plenty of sales at all times, and I find it pelasing that they not only sell Hispanic foods — but ALL ethnic foods. I have found items from GERMANY, FRANCE, AFRICA, JAMAICA, THE MIDDLE EAST, GREECE, SPAIN, MEXICO, POLAND, ENGLAND, JAPAN, CHINA, INDIA… and thats to name a few. Its a culturally all-​inclusive store, and I find many people native to Africa, Middle East. and Asia who shop there, because its one of the closest and easily-​accessible stores in the aea that provide decent imports from their native countries. Try finding Falafel at KROGER!
The beer/​wine selection is not bad either. They sell standard beers, and semi-​fine wines… as well as imports from Spain. [Ever have imported Spanish Sangria? Good stuff!]
There is a meat/​seafood counter where you can buy fresh meats by the pound if you do not like prepackaged meats. My fav thing to do is buy the fresh [never frozen… hell. the things were probably alive the previous day] chckens. This is the only place I know of where I can buy a whole [organic, natural un «juiced”] chicken for under 4 bucks. I live alone, so imagine how many meals I can make from 2 whole chickens — under 10 bucks! THE SEAFOOD IS AWESOME… and so fresh, so prepare yourself for a seawater/​mud like smell in that area. The fishy smell is low, but there is a constant «wet earthy» smell… I welcome it… the jumbo shrimp is tp die for and y ou can bag your own [but if you pull the heads off the shrimp to get more for the pound weight, your purchase will be voided and they cant sell you the shrimp so BE HONEST.] I have found tilapia there, and other fish —- though stay away from frozen fillets. I say this because frozen fish in general has undergone cell damage and when cooked will take on a chewey texture… get your fish fresh. it will cost more, but theres nothing better than seeing a whole fsh on a bed of ice before you have them cut it up for you. Thats another thing… THEY WILL CUT YOUR MEAT COUNTER PURCHASES UP IF REQUESTED. One guy offered to cut my whole chicken into 8 pieces and I was so taken aback by the HOSPITALITY that I just stood there, not believing that he just offered to do such a thing. hah!
Wonder wonderful store… but the best of all?
IF YOU PURCHASE 50 DOLLARS OR MORE WORTH OF ITEMS FROM THE STORE, THEY WILL TAKE YOU HOME IN THE FIESTA VAN… FREE OF COST!!! Though this is within a certain mile-​raduis. Each fiesta covers certain neighborhoods… and yes EVERY FIESTA WILL TAKE YOU HOME.
Make sure to mention that you will be needing the delivery van — because some fiestas hand you a ticket that you give to the diver… some do not… but its still nice to let someone in the store know youre ready to go home, so you wont be standing outside waiting for the guy to come check for people waiting to go home. Most of the drivers speak limited English but ALL are decent and polite. This is not the 4 seasons, so be sincere and try to load your own groceries in the back of the van. These guys drive around all day and dont get tipped. Though if you want to tip It would be welcomed. 2 to 5 dollars will suffice. Be direct and specify where you are going. Point, and inform ahead of time to give the guys a chance to turn, etc. all in all its a WONDERFUL store. Much better than the average grocery. Prepare for lots of people, and a «fiesta’ like enviroment !!!

A friend tipped me off to the low vegetable prices at Fiesta Mart and being a curious and frugal girl I had to check it out. I walked in to hear loud festive music and see lots of families shopping. It did feel like a shopping fiesta! After picking out some great looking produce (zucchini, carrots, oranges, broccoli) and cheap spices (bay leaves for 99 cents!) I had to walk the whole store to see what else I had been missing while shopping at Tom Thumb…
In addition to normal grocery store items there are entire sections dedicated to central and south american items. And they have special meats, cheeses and handmade tortillas. According to some other Fiesta Mart reviews there are Fiesta stores that are stinky — this one on Jefferson was not stinky at all. And I will definitely go back for the veggies.
