The mixologist here is a master. Fun drinks for girls. Get anything with his lavender syrup and chill out.

Well I am not sure if this place is still open. I went for a Unilocal Event I think in Sept. They rolled out the red carpet. Eventhough we paid for our drinks… no discounts. Not a big deal. it was just a showing of the Fall Menu Cocktails. We went by a few weeks ago and it was all dark. We found out Keith had passed away, I think it was Nov. I am sad to learn this. He was exceptional and sweet. Very personable with guests and had a fun creative spirit. RIP our friend and lets hope in some way shape or form your place stands in your honor.

Loved every drink. The cotton candy one was especially delicious! I forgot his name, but the bald man(maybe the owner?) makes these«smoky» drinks that are must-try! One-of-a-kind experience.

Keith’s amazing! Keith’s a magician! Stopped by Four Lounge with a friend and was greeted by Keith. He sat us in a comfy couch and proceeded to ask us what types of drinks we normally have. I’m fond of a good whiskey, scotch, or bourbon and I tend to drink it straight. I ended up having a maple syrup old fashioned, something they call an asian whiskey, and a smoked cherry wood infused bourbon. I can’t even begin to explain how good they were. Keith pulled out all sorts of contraptions from the back. He began smoking things, pouring things, shaking things and viola! Legendary in a cup! The friend had a lavender champagne, cotton candy mojito, and a s’more drink. All tasty, but when she told Keith the cotton candy mojito was a bit too sweet, he went through his magic cabinet of concoctions, brought out a small vial of a luminescent liquid, poured it into the glass and right then and there, sweetness down by 50%. Looking back, it probably wasn’t a vial, or a luminescent liquid. More likely a tumbler with a clear liquid. Lastly, the s’more drink. TOO good. I kept stealing some, and caused some rage on the part of the person who ordered the drink. I probably should’ve just asked for s’more! (sorry for the cheesy comment)

Really, really cool place. Walking up I actually said hello to Keith, who was sitting outside taking a short smoke break. We walked in and sat down, and Keith came over and talked to us. He explained that since his place has taken off, he doesn’t work there that much. We ordered a couple of drinks and he made them personally. It was a great experience, with great drinks. We’ll check it out again in the future… according to Keith, they’re expending into a bigger space next door, so that should be pretty cool. Place was kind of dead but it was late, and it looked like there was a private party going on as well. Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

Great place to enjoy a well mixed cocktail! We went on a Tuesday night, so it was pretty quiet, but actually a good thing for our first visit. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and get educated on molecular mixology… very cool, by the way. My strawberry hibiscus champagne cocktail was great and loved that they brought out the lavender champagne cocktail for me to try as well. We heard they are getting ready to expand into the space next door, so only more good things to come for this hidden little gem.

Four Lounge is a hidden treasure in the State and Allen area of Uptown. The space itself is very small but they still manage to have a cozy atmosphere. The menu is always changing with the latest and greatest gastronomy creations. It is very clear that creating interesting and unique cocktails is a passion for those that work at Four lounge. The outdoor patio is nice and the neighborhood has just enough foot traffic where you feel like you aren’t in Uptown at all anymore(a good thing). There are two large TVs outside too that are always showing runway shows and football — two of my favorite things! All in all, Four Lounge is a great place to go for a relaxing drink or if your want to get out of a cocktail rut!

I will make this update quick as I don’t have to say much. But what I do have to say is powerful and should be taken seriously. Now listen up: For someone that does describe myself as a sweet tooth, I thoroughly enjoyed the Velvet Cake Whoopie Pie Cocktail made with the famous Society Bakery red velvet whoopie pies. One would wonder just how a whoopie pie can be transferred into a liquid elixir. This makes the whole experience that much more exciting. They do a wonderful job of blending the booze with the whoopie pie into a smooth drink with just enough bites of delicious chunks of red velvet cake and whip cream. The best part was literally the icing on the cake, or should I say the homemade whipped cream on top of the dessert cocktail?

This place is hilarious. I want to submit it to Kitchen Nightmares because it is exactly the kind of place that would do well after a makeover on that show: a privately owned venture that probably had a decent start until the owner’s ideas exceded what he could actually execute and business slowed, causing it to become a sad, tired version of itself. Ouch. That was mean. But I’m being serious; this place has issues. The menu has way too many items on it. As a result, the service is slowed to a glacial pace. Many of the items are terrible ideas, and even those that aren’t are not well executed. The décor is shabby and ill-fitting(imagine a janky hookah lounge with three TVs, two of which are showing sports and the third, fashion shows on loop). And, adding insult to injury, prices are up there(not ridiculously high per se, but ridiculously high considering what you’re getting). I found myself looking around thinking, Seriously? WTH is going on here? Is no one else noticing how bizarre and crappy this place is? Apparently not, judging by the reviews here on Unilocal. Basically, the place feels like the owners have given up, which is a shame because with a little makeover of the menu, the décor, and the execution, the basic idea wouldn’t be bad.

I finally made it in to 4 lounge after talking about going for about a year! Facility/Décor: The sitting areas are quite cute. I wish it was just a tad larger, but I don’t think it needs to be. I’ve been twice and it was never packed, but these were both weekdays. There’s a mirror against the wall which makes the place feel larger than it is. They have a patio with heaters, which is nice. Keith, the owner, interacts w/his customers with his husky voice. That’s awesome. You don’t see that too often anymore. There is one unisex bathroom near the bar, but it’s clean! There is a TV inside and one outside. Drinks: I like how much effort Keith puts into his drinks. The specialty martinis are very heavy/rich and extravagent or super sugary. I made a point to try different types of drinks(not just specialty Martinis) to get a good sense of their offerings and give a fair review. Keith’s menu is constantly changing as he tries new things and doesn’t do well with a stale menu. ;-) Martinis: The base of numbers 3 – 4 taste the same to me. 1. Cotton Candy — It tastes like what it is — melted cotton candy, not strong but super sweet. Can you say SUGARRUSH?! :-P He came to our table and melted the exceedingly high pile of cotton candy into the martini glass by pouring the drink base over it. 2. Strawberry S’more — Wow, that’s a really rich fun choice! He actually garnishes it with a freshly made s’more. 3. Captain Crunch — Another fun choice which transported me back to my childhood. I believe the martini glass is coated in honey to allow the cap’n crunch crumbles to stick to the glass… not served with a spoon as described in the menu though. 4. Ginger Crème Brulee — NOT the best choice for me. I love love love crème brûlée, so this was my first choice. I wasn’t sure about the ginger aspect and thought it would have a hint of ginger. Nope! It had actual small chunks of ginger. A bit much for this non-ginger loving gal. What I liked is how he actually used a torch to make the crème brûlée garnish! As Oprah would say, Fabuuuulooooouuus! Other drinks: 1. Pineapple Doli — basically pineapple infused vodka… YUMMO. I want more! This is a drink they make in a large glass vat of sorts and serve as is. 2. Cherry Bourbon Cola — Hello luva luva! I don’t remember the actual name of this one, but it was one of my faves! I’m a bourbon lover! Price: Most drinks range from $ 9-$ 12 a pop. When to go: Anyway, this makes a great date spot for drinks or after dinner drinks and is also great for girls’ night out! Check out their website to see specials such as Ladies’ Night(free champagne!) and Date Night(basically buy one get one!)…both are on weekdays though. Even though there is a TV inside and one outside, I don’t think this is the best spot for game watching.

I have never been much of a cocktail kind of guy, but The Four Lounge has made me a believer. I am not usually a fan of fruity, sweet drinks or cocktails. I usually just go for whiskey something. I have been here 3 or so times and have been very impressed every time. Each time we come in, Keith is at the door or walking around making sure that everyone is enjoying themselves. He and Ben work behind the bar nonstop mixing gels, burning wood, and making outlandish cocktails. My latest experience was with the Smoked Raspberry Chipotle Old Fashioned. Wow. It was sweet at first but had a serious spicy burn afterward, which is a very strange sensation when drinking a cocktail. I also had the opportunity to try the Strawberry S’More Martini, which had chocolate and graham crackers around the rim and a big toasted marshmellow floating in the middle. The Cotton Candy martini is made with a huge chunk of real cotton candy and is incredibly sweet. It tastes like liquid cotton candy. Also try the cupcake or red velvet cake martinis, which are creamy and full of crumbs. Drinking food is a bit weird, but the flavor is well worth the strange sensation. This is not the place to come if you want standard, boring bar drinks. Be adventurous! Obviously drinks are going to cost a bit more here, so at least try something crazy. And yes, if any sound too silly for a man to order, I probably just tried them.

What a cool place. It’s small. I mean, SMALL. I walked in, after reading the reviews on here — and at first was a little thrown off. Nobody behind the bar, some guy sitting down was like«sit anywhere» — and there was only like 10 people in the whole place. Turns out that the guy was the bar tender, just chatting with the guests… I looked at the drink menu, and it’s not your typical«bar» menu. Martini’s — and Mixers that I“ve never heard of. Where is my Crown and coke, my patron on the rocks… Nay. The bar tender insisted on something less traditional — and boy was he right. Nothing crazy, just a fruit passion mojito. Well time passed, and the rounds kept coming, and that time to leave came — so I asked for the bill. Went up to the bar to sign the tab, and that’s when the fun actually began! Turns out Keith(the bar tender) is actually the owner. And what he was doing when I first walked in was a demonstration of what sets his place apart from everyone else downtown! Smoked Whiskey!?! Cotton Candy!!! Hand made syrups!!! You have to experience this yourself. JUSTGO. NOW.

We hit this place up on a Friday night for a Girl’s Night. The martini selection is endless. Get here early. Small is an understatement. There’s some seating outside but not much. The cotton candy martini was good. The skittles one was amazing!

Coming off of a beatdown at the RRS and State Fair(from both the Sooners and the sun), we were looking for a chill place to kick back and relax in the buzzy Uptown area. I pull out my trendy Unilocal app and scour the area for lounges. Up pops Four Lounge. «Girl’s night out» as one of the top three search terms?!? I’m so there. To be fair, we had a few females in the group, and I figured this would provide the ambiance our group was looking for. Mission accomplished on that front. As Pitbull would request, we had a real good time. The venue is ridiculously small. There’s about 6 «roundtable» seating areas available, and a few two-seater sections for dates and such. Luckily, we arrived earlier in the night around 10-ish, and snagged the booth area indoors. The plush décor is perfect for relaxing, and the DJ spinning(look up, or you’ll miss him) played an audio-perfect mix of top 40 and 80’s overlaid by some house beats. Well played, sir. The drink menu is the calling card here, and it’s a doozy. Paging Dr. Mixologist in full force. There’s something for everyone. For example, my friend, the cherry coke lover, picked up a cherrywood smoke-infused whiskey-coke, a real winner in his book. I was a fan of the Pimm’s Cup, a must-try for me at places after I had my first Pimm’s Cup, a downright doozy, at NOLA in New Orleans. The Pimm’s was good(infused with ginger beer), but as good as NOLA it was not. So here’s the but. The drink menu is spectacular, buuuuut… the actual drink preparation is crazy hit or miss. I picked up a handful of Pimm’s Cups(I’ll decline to say how many), and each one tasted different, with a clear lack of consistency. This was mirrored in my group’s other drinks as well, and the taste wasn’t always there. For example, the bloody mary tasted like pure salsa. It would have been good with tortilla chips, but not as a stand-alone sipper. Compounding the issue was the hit-or-miss service. With such a small venue, there’s but one waitress, and she started the night off strong but fell short when the place got packed past midnight. As for ordering at the bar, well, the artiste up there has better things to do than take your order. Oh sure, you can try, but expect the evil eye the shine your way. The place completely shut down at about one. We were the last party to hang around, and there were some furtive glances by the staff to see when we were dodging out of there. Then, as we were on the way out, a group stepped in and asked if they were open. «Oh sure,» they said. Just ignore the put up chairs and lack of small tables, please. In summary, if you’re looking for a lounge-type of night with a beyond interesting drink menu, Four Lounge is your spot.

Went here after dinner on a girl’s night out and had a lot of fun! Great place to take a group for cocktails before you go out or after dinner. It’s small, but in a good cozy way. One of my friends got the cotton candy martini, it was sweet but surprisingly not too sugary and syrupy. Plus the bartender came out with the martini glass loaded with actual cotton candy and then poured the liquor over it, so the theatrics were fun. I ordered the captain crunch martini, and sadly, do not recommend it. It was really pretty at first but then the whip cream got all melty and the concoction underneath was a syrupy(STRONG) butterscotch-like mess. I did lick off the crushed captain crunch around the rim though. Don’t judge me, I never claimed class. Another girl got the red velvet martini, but I had to head out and didn;t get a chance to taste that one. There are also simpler drinks: lavender infused champagne(want to try!) and regular martinis as well as a wine list I believe. Stop by, it’s an adventure and a good time.

Great place to take out-of-town guests. I know this personally, being said guest. Cool little lounge that you might miss if you weren’t looking for it. The lounge is small and it might behoove you to arrive early enough to snag a couch(or a seat outside on the patio, if weather permits). On the left, there are swanky high-backed couches and tables. On the right, there is nothing but a mirrored wall. They probably could have added some seating on the right side, but perhaps this place gets packed on the weekends and they wanted to account for standing room? At any rate, Four Lounge has a little bit of a New York feel to it, including some of the drink prices. The lavender infused champagne was $ 18…wow! But my friend loved it, so all was good. The drink menu can be a little overwhelming… it’s a good idea to think about what your taste buds are asking for prior to looking(Sweet? Savory? Salty? Something that will put hair on your chest?). The smoked bourbon was enjoyed by my friend’s husband. He opted to stay away from the girly-girl drinks and he looked quite content with his choice. I tried the cupcake martini, which was literally a martini with muddled vanilla cupcake added to it, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. It was sweet and it was STRONG! I love a stiff drink so it suited me well. I also tried the cotton candy martini and loved the bravado that came along with it. The owner stood on the couch next to me and poured the ice-cold martini over a martini glass heaping with blue cotton candy. It made me want to clap and jump around. Suggestion — be sure to stir it a couple of times to ensure that everything marries nicely before taking your first sip. With drink mixology being all the rage, this is a really nice place to try. These are specialty drinks that you’re not going to concoct at home, no matter how many times you tell yourself that you are. Muddling cupcake at home and adding it to your martini just wouldn’t offer the same effect. It’s more fun to go out for drinks anyway!

We arrived early and took over a spot on the patio. The interior is quite small, but the extra space outside is a great idea! Keith, the owner and drink spinner is awesome. Very personable and helpful… in fact our drink service was better when it was just him and not the waitress. I had about 10 people in my group and everyone was excited about the drinks. I was drinking champagne, but he talked me into trying some of his mixes. The lavender in champagne got some excitement at the table. The roasted red pepper in champagne was interesting… but the fan favorite was the tomato basil in champagne. Girrly looking drinks of plue, pink and coral dressed the table. Even the boys drinking beer(beer? Can you imagine beer at this place?) liked the mixes. Many many drinks were had at the table and only one martini was so stiff the guys chest hair fell out. Some mighty tasty beverages to be had. Laid back, interesting mix of people… fun to be had by all. Parking can be testy… go early.

Oh Keith, what an awesome mixologist/proprietor/genius you are! How you make me giddy with the thought of your Red Velvet Cupcake Martini with Whooooopie pie. I was in a little bit of heaven there when I slowly took my first sip. D.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s. I had a girls night out during St. Paddy’s Day weekend. It was nice that the night was slow because we got to talk to Keith, who told us a little bit of how he does his mixes and truly showed us how passionate he is about this science. Each of us girls tried and shared a different drink — Red Velvet Cupcake Martini, Cupcake Martini, Lavender-infused Champagne, Strawberry Champagne, Honey-infused drink… and a couple more. They were all truly delicious. So glad to find this trendy little heaven of a place!

What a groovy, Euro-style lounge. Reasons why you should check out Four Lounge: 1. Super friendly staff 2. Keith makes all the syrups/flavors himself so they are all super fresh/creative 3. There are so many options. You can mix any of his flavors into champagne or a mixed drink. I had the blueberry champagne, the jalapeño-esque champagne, and the lemongrass-ginger margaritatini. The spicy champagne was really amazing. I never would have expected the flavors of jalapenos to mix so well with bubbly. 4. Awesome ambiance/décor. Add pillows to beaded chandeliers to oversized chairs/cushions and you have a very sexy, comfortable atmosphere 5. Really creative place! Very unique and intimate 6. Ladies’ Night on Thursdays– free champagne from 9 – 12 :) Yay! Perks for being a female! 7. Nice music selection– we had some light techno-ish music and some salsa while we were in there 8. Romantic– great spot for a date! 9. Fresh flowers on every table! Love is in the air! Cons– 1. Just a little pricey– most drinks are between 10 – 20 bucks but they are strong! You get your money’s worth! 2. And it’s pretty small so if you have a large group, it might be too crowded on a weekend! I’ll definitely come back. It’d be a great place to be a regular :)
