My barbacoa tacos were just okay. The meat wasn’t seasoned enough. And the red salsa had no spiciness to it. I think there are better places out there.

Probably the best tacos in town! The location might say otherwise but don’t judge a book by its cover. It’s $ 1.50 per taco so I usually get 5 to fill up.

BEST street tacos in all of Dallas, hands down! I just wish I lived closer so that I could enjoy them all of the time. Pastor is my favorite and the Elote stand is amazing too. They use fresh corn on the cob. So yummy!!!

Located in a kind of ghetto place near Harry Hines. The bf and friends come here for their mouth watering tacos and corn cup stand outside the building. The taco is indeed amazing and so was the corn cup!

Best authentic Mexican tacos I ever had! First time I tried this place and first time ever trying real authentic tacos was years ago! It was after getting out of the clubs, hungry at 2am, and we were told by others tonight to try this place. It is at a gas station, it can be a little sketchy, people park their car anywhere, others can be drunk/loud. There is a window to place orders outside. Cash only. I tried many authentic Mexican tacos, most of them all very good, but friendly’s still has the upper hand! I’m not sure if it’s the meat or the tortilla. While you wait there is a corn in a cup joint on the other side of the gas station. Also cash only. He literally has any condiments you would need to add to your corn in a cup… ¾ diff hot sauces, siracha, parmesan cheese, limes, lemon pepper. I prefer to add the XXX hot sauce and 2 limes.

I thought their tacos were just okay. The meat was tender but lacked flavor without the salsa. The only two salsa they offer is really spicy so beware! You like cilantro and crunchy texture? Well great because you will love this place because their cilantro comes with abundant amount of stems! While affordable at the new price of $ 1.50/taco, I do recommend getting more than 4 if you are hungry. I’m a petite girl n 4 wasn’t enough to fill that tummy. I probably won’t visit again unless I get hungry at 2am. And this taco stand is called El Tacoso.

I like it much better than Fuel City! Really great barbacoa. I’ve had better al pastor, but they were still awesome. Wish I had gotten more green sauce.

Ever since I moved from San Diego, I have been looking for a juicy Socal carne asada buritto. This is one of the better ones. They have indeed California buritto on the menu. At least, they got French fry part right. The buritto was tightly packed. Hope they did not cut in half.

They sell tacos and corn here. The tacos are really good. They are made from tortillas and really good meat. The corn has things in it like cheese and mayo, and you can put sauce on it too. The corn is really good. You should get both the tacos and the corn.

Hands down to one of the best street tacos one could ask for. I personally prefer this over Fuel City. I’ve tried tacos at numerous locations and nothing can compare to Friendly’s. I usually order the beef and lengua tacos. Their red hot sauce is amazing! I like spicy food so the sauce definitely kicks it up a notch. The taco stand is located inside the gas station. You can order inside or outside. I would recommend ordering inside for safety especially during the night time. Once you receive your order, must take photo/instagram/snapchat or what not and then eat. Not as good when you take it home especially of you live further away.

Stayed at a nearby hotel during a recent Dallas trip. Friendly’s has all the ingredients of a great neighborhood taco establishment– reasonable prices, tasty food, open 24 hours, and co-located with a gas station & convenience store! Their tacos and other items are perfect for a quick bite at all times– snacks, fuel in the belly breakfasts, and late night munchies. I visited Friendly’s nearly every day of my 5-day Dallas visit. I really enjoyed the barbeque beef tacos with their accompanying onions, cillantro, lime, and sauces. Looking forward to my next Dallas trip because of them, I might have to select another nearby hotel so I can satisfy my taco craving at all hours. Will definitely repeat and recommend!

One of my favorite hole in the wall establishments! This place has the most delicious tacos, and their service is true to its name… cause they’re «Friendly!» My colleague from my summer internship found this wonderful place, conveniently tucked into a gas station, and you can’t miss the gold longhorn out on the grass near the entrance! Also, the corn(Elotes’s cart) is the best after work snack too! Be sure to dump on some hot sauce(read those labels carefully!) and some seasoning, and lemon juice! Yum!

Night out on the town? Craving some tacos? Need something to cure your hangover? Hands down the best place for tacos in Dallas is at Friendly’s! There’s always a line. Barbacoa and lingua are«must try-s.» There’s an elote stand out front… do not forget the elote! Tacos and elote together… just too delicious!

There’s something immediately funny about getting side eyed at a place called Friendly’s lol. I tell myself they are probably just jealous of my elite elote mixing skills. My favorite elote cart in town is parked here so on occasion I get my tacos here too. Now, I love a good old fashioned gas station taco. For the price of $ 1.25, you can’t be mad at much. My barbacoa taco with everything(cilantro, onion, and lime on the side) was good, albeit a little oily. Their salsa is real life so try it before you liberally pour on your taco. Go to Friendly’s, then go find seek out some seedy shopping experiences on Harry Hines. It’s the Dallas way. *note: using a credit card is a little annoying here. Don’t be that guy holding up the line. Bring cash.

Hands down the best tacos and elotes in DFW! I love, love, love this hole in the wall gas station food joint and have been going here for years! Every single person I have taken there loves it as well. I always get the fajita tacos on corn everything with red salsa plus the ‘good onions’(sauteed onions). Their tacos are $ 1.25 each and they are open 24 hours a day. The best part of this place is the corn stand. I get my elotes(corn) with everything. I mix the home made XXX Atomica sauce with the muy picasa sauce and add lime juice and lemon pepper as well to my corn. Ahhh my mouth is watering from just writing this review. Be warned there is no where to sit and eat your food and there are often homeless people and drug addicts that will try to hit you up for money. However it is a safe place to visit, I have been 100s of times at all hours of day and night and there has never been a problem. They even have hired security guards on the weekend. The tacos portion takes credit cards, but the corn stand is cash only. Small is $ 1.50, medium is $ 2.50 and large is $ 5.00. GOGOGO!

These tacos are the best ghetto tacos in Dallas. When I’m craving tacos, I want these street tacos not those fancy tacos that everyone else loves. Usually the girls and I come here after going out so we’re usually here at 2 – 3AM and there is no parking whatsoever. They have a lot of cops now due to the area(it is Harryhines) who helps guide people where to park or keep the drunkees in check. When you do make your way to the front of the taco line, my favorite is steak with everything on it. Barbacoa is good too but too greasy for me. Recently they added lengua but were sold out when we got there. As for chicken, it’s too dry for me and I love chicken but not here. The tacos are super cheap at $ 1.25 although they were $ 1.00 before and I love the grilled onions they used to give and the large containers of sauce but its all good, I still love Friendly’s. The corn stand in front of the gas station is great as well. Get everything and put some muy picosa sauce and you’re good to go! I actually recently found out you can get the corn on the cob instead of in the cup. Yum!

I cannot tell you how many years I’ve been going to friendly’s for tacos. I remember them being only $ 1.00 a taco and they gave you a buttload of cilantro, grilled onions, limes and two different types of salsa instead of $ 1.25 each with less stuff but they have to increase their prices just like everyone else. I used to come here with a group of friends after clubbing. Surprise, surprise. Who doesn’t do this? Now that I am older I don’t go clubbing but I still make the trek all the way here for the tacos and corn in a cup. I was thinking of trying fuel city tacos but reading some of the reviews I think I will just stay loyal to friendly’s. I always order way more than I can eat because these tacos are still awesome when you reheat them the next day and day after. I’ve tried every taco on their menu and the chicken is my favorite. Its the least greasy. My husband loves the barbocoa and pastor tacos. I absolutely love friendly’s! You cannot leave without getting some corn in a cup with EVERYTHING. I love how they have an assortment of hot sauces to choose from. I always go medium but my husband loads on the xxxx spicy hot sauce. They make every cup to order and slice the corn fresh off the cob when you order it. If the corn was roasted it would be even more amazing! Crap. Now I’m craving for some tacos and corn in a cup.
