Looks like since our last visit the place has closed down. We came here for an after wedding party. The place was decent. There was a lot of bottle service/VIP area and not a lot of just general dancing area. I guess that is Dallas clubbing for ya. The night was a blur, but I do remember the sound system hurting my ears. Felt like some of the speakers were blown? Either way, guests are not missing out.

Great DJ on the night I went(Friday) for a girlfriend’s birthday. The drinks were overpriced and valet parking was a crazy price. When we got there around 11, it was literally 7 people there. The crowd didn’t pick up until around midnight. I would go back here, however maybe on a different night. Also, I was not a fan if seeing stonewashed jeans!!! You should NEVER wear jeans to the club – especially stonewashed. :/

Glass is a blast !! Great DJ, good vibes, high energy, nice crowd and lots of pretty people, all in a great part of town, uptown — the McKinney Ave area! Down side: long line to wait to get in(unless you know someone…) The place is smallish and cozy, so it can get packed. I’ve been here several times and it’s always a good time. –what to expect? dress to impress, dance, drink, and party your butt off!

Glass Lounge… where do I even begin. My girlfriend and I, along with a couple of her friends thought we would check out Glass on Saturday(July 6, 2013). After reading every single Unilocal review the«lounge» received, I wanted to see for myself if it was really that bad. We were placed on the«guest list» and arrived around 11:30 pm on a Saturday expecting there to be a crazy line and a bumping dance floor. There was absolutely no line and we walked right in. There were a total of 8 people on the first floor which confirmed everything. The music sucked, but even worse was the fact that there was a $ 20 cover to go upstairs. We decided to grab a quick drink at the bar before heading to uptown where things were of course, Cray. I ordered two vodka Red Bulls which came out to $ 22. I’m from San Diego and regularly pay between $ 10 and $ 14 per drink while out on the town, but was not ready for what transpired next. The bartender pulled out two mini plastic cups, filled them to the very top with ice, poured maybe half a shot of vodka which was followed by a few ounces of «Blu» knock off Red Bull. Before I even left the bar, I was slurping air and making obnoxious noises thinking there was more liquid in my $ 11 cup. Don’t waste your time going here, completely not worth it.

This place has gone nowhere but downhill in the past few years its been open. It’s peak has come and gone. From the music they play to the clientele, it’s a complete 180 from its peak. I would not be surprised if this place closes in a few months.

I came for a charity event on a Wed night, thus can’t judge it has a true experience. However I did find it odd that such a higher end establishment had no mirriors in the bathroom and the stall doors have been removed. I would expect that from a dive bar not a posh Dallas club.

I was a little leery about going here at first based on the reviews but I had a great time. There was no cover to get in but the downside is the drinks are very expensive everything was 9 or 12 dollars. One thing that was odd to me was all the restroom doors didn’t lock and they were all broke, they need to fix that ASAP. The music was good too.

Walked by tonight. The bouncers were nice but the cocktail waitress was surprisingly rude. She said she was from Vegas and expected us to fall all over ourselves for her… Claims that buying a girl(ie. her) a drink is the best way to know them… Well, not true and gonna happen. What people say about the wanna be LV/LA club is definitely true… Completely empty at 11PM on a Friday night. Was going to buy bottle service tomorrow, but not sure if I will now.

Not sure why all the bad reviews. This is one of my favorite night clubs here in Dallas. The cocktail waitresses are hot and love how you’re not partying with a bunch of teenagers. It’s a mature crowd with a relax lounge setting. The patio is awesome too especially when the weather is nice here. I would recommend this place for table service. They serve this SKINNY orange liqueur mixer that is only 45 calories a serving… GOODSTUFF!!! Perfect for your Girls Night Out meet up spot… Conveniently located off of 35/akard =o)

Let me start by saying I’m totally out of the ‘club/lounge scene’. There was a time of course that I had to be at the ‘it’ spot. However, I’m a boring old married lady now so I no longer have any idea where the ‘it’ spot is… I think Glass is probably it though. It is beautiful and the people who frequent it are as well. I was there for a bachelorette party Saturday night and we must have gotten there a little early because there weren’t many people there yet. But by midnight the energy was really picking up and the crowd had arrived. That’s when I left. Haha. What did I tell you… I’m a boring old married lady now! ;) So it is a beautiful, fun place and the vodka sodas I ordered were $ 7 so that seems pretty reasonable to me. My only ‘legitimate’ complaints were from my bathroom experience of all things. They have a bathroom attendant who is unavoidable. She has all of the paper towels and the soap. You MUST have her assistance unless you won’t be washing your hands. So as she was handing me a paper towel she asked me if I would like to contribute to her tip jar. I just found that to be a bit aggressive and inappropriate. I did tip her, but I would have anyway. As I turned away from the sinks to leave a woman wielding a clipboard asked me if I wanted to sign up on their email list to be notified of upcoming events and promotions. All I wanted to do was use the restroom and get back to the bride and the rest of the group. If I were in my early twenties and single I’d visit this place again… but I’m not, so I won’t. ;)

I don’t know where to begin. The only reason I went here is because my friend was an opening Dj for one of the headliners playing. As previous people have mentioned, the crowd is super douchey and ultra fake. Despite all the money they put into the building and decorations, the sound system was terrible and kept giving problems. The club owner kept telling the Dj what to play(shitty commercial and pop music). Also drinks are overpriced and staff will make you feel unwelcomed. If you wanna dress fancy, listen to crappy music and waste money then be sure to go here.

You know, I would hate on this place for putting off a super-douche vibe, and for having one of the most scenestery crowds I’ve ever seen at a nightclub, but I liked this place. It had a pretty cool design going on, it wasn’t terribly crowded, and it was easy to get a drink. And man, they were strong. And affordable(a running theme I saw with Dallas vs. Washington DC). Some pretty girls in there, and as usual the super-douche guys. But otherwise it wasn’t such a terrible experience. I’d probably head back if I were in town.

I can tell you that the ONLY reason I came here was for a friends birthday. Unfortunately, I would never come back. Line outside– took only 30 seconds to get in, there was no line. Although the bouncer guy asked me if i had bottle service… REALLLY??? Do people STILL do that? Its not Vegas… GIVEME A BREAK. Crowd– 80⁄20 man to woman ratio. Drinks– $ 25 for 2 ordinary cocktails… STUPID. Music– unmemorable. Overall Atmosphere– DARK, sleezy, scary, and cheezy as hell. This place gave me a flashback of WISHULTRA lounge. It was like a really bad, cheap version of the Living Room Bar @W Hotel. But like the nightmare version of it. Sorry.

Glass is my first and only lounge/club experience in Dallas as I was visiting a friend and had only stayed for one night, but a good experience it was not. First of all, the line is atrocious. It probably will take you about 30−45mins to get in. Luckily, we had known some people and were able to get in without waiting in line. Once we got in we were amazed for all about 5 minutes. The décor there is really very pretty. A lot of pinks and purples, and well glass. There is this big chandelier in the main room that was gorgeous! However, once you get pass the good looks, you start to notice all the little things that bother/annoy the heck outta you. Second, I came to Texas for some cheap/strong drinks that was promised to me by friends. Austin delivered perfectly on that, however when I ordered my usual gin and tonic, I received a lot of tonic and a little gin for $ 12! I mean, if I wanted to pay for overpriced drinks I would of just stayed in New York. After dealing with some issues of getting friends in, I thought we all needed some shots, so I ordered a round of tequila shots for my girls. After pouring us our shots, I asked for some salt. The bartender took back the cups and re-poured them into cups rimmed with salt. Is that REALLY necessary? I mean I’m a classy girl, but there really is nothing wrong with the lick and sprinkle method when it comes to taking a tequila shot. After getting a substantial amount of liquor in our bodies, we were eager to dance… and found ourselves in an awkward sea of bodies and randomly placed tables, walls, dividers and poles. Where is the dance floor!!! The only good things about the place is the fact that girls will think its pretty and the music is pretty decent if you like hip-hop. Other than that, come to NYC and we’ll show you how lounges/clubs should be done.

Let me start with the positive — Glass Lounge has a very cool interior finish out and the music was great. If you want to dance, this is one of the best places in Dallas. However, the people who run this club and attend the club make it one of the worst places in Dallas. I went with a group of girlfriends and we had contacted the club for a table reservation. Because we have a friend that knows the owner, we were told that we could have a table for $ 300.00. We got there a little before midnight and we were escorted to the table. The two hostesses came over and asked what bottle we would like and if we wanted anything other than the standard club soda, tonic, and cranberry juice. We ordered sugar-free redbull. Of course, the hostesses seemed a little put out that the table was full of women and they would not be able to show off their«assets» to gain a larger tip. If they were smart, they would know that if they were attentive and pleasant, they would be able to secure a 20%+ tip. They did not pour our drinks — we all took care of our own drinks since they seemed to disappear most of the evening. At one point when we were refreshing our drinks our hostess came over and grabbed the bottle out of my friends hand and tried to pour our drinks but it was too late. When I told her that we had taken care of it, she said«whatever» and walked off. At 1:30 a.m. the hostess came back over and asked if we were ready for our 2nd bottle. We were only halfway done with our first bottle and told her that we would not be purchasing a second bottle. She told us that our table was a two bottle minimum table. I told her that we had made arrangements with the owner and that we would like to speak to him so we could get it worked out. He came over and got into an argument with my girlfriend that had secured the reservation. He ended up telling her that he would agree to $ 300.00 but that he would never do business with us again? Of course, they bring me the tab and they charged us for the redbull and added a 20% gratuity charge. For what??? Serious attitude and horrible service? I asked to see the owner(AGAIN) and told him that I would pay 10% tip for a total of $ 330.00 and that he could take that or nothing. He agreed to it and we left. This morning I checked my credit card activity and the S.O.B. charged me $ 396.00. I called and am not having to dispute and investigate the charge. I know it’s only $ 66.00 more, but it’s the principle. I feel like the management and service is extremely shady at Glass so if you go, definitely double check your tab and DONOT get a table, unless you are alright with being overcharged and having horrible service. My guess is this place will be out of business by the year end. Good riddance. I’ll take my business to Sunset Lounge.

************************** 631 ************************** Newest spot in Dallas, opened in August 2011! No jeans, cargo pants or sneakers allowed, but if you got the right tips, it’s all about the money baby! Nice design, lay out, odd VIP tables area in the far back. Love the outside smoking area, open space, long bar. Enough stalls in women lounge! Definitely 20’s crowd, no less or more! Hot crowds though, lots of blondes with nice knockers, it goes big in Texas right? If you want to dance, come here; if you want to talk, go to a lounge! There’s female bouncer at the outdoor exist, really nice and sweet! And a bouncer name Jeff was really nice to us. We’ll come back since now my broski lives here!

If you know someone then you will get in. If not, you get to stand in that long line for a while and then you may not even get in. We got in as a friend knew someone. Walked in and was amazed on how nicely decorated this place is. But it was crowded with celebrity wannabes who acted like millionaires LOL. The music sucked and we didnt even bother trying to get a drink at the bar as it was crowded. This place was not what I expected. Not sure what the hype is about. Dont waste your time or money here unless you are a wannabe celebrity.

I’m a little taken aback by some of the reviews here. I don’t think you need to bring race up because a few blacks or asians get in the door before you. Reverse racism? My gaawddd. Maybe they know the owner, maybe they know someone who works there. It’s disturbing that *some people* here feel entitled to be able to walk in before others. hmph **getting off my high horse** On that note, I don’t like this place. At. All. Layout is bad. The«dance floor» is a spot in front of the DJ booth, which also happens to be a walkway for people not dancing. Try to get your groove on having to dodge and weave every 2 mins for someone to squeeze through you. Yes, they hold the line. Meanwhile, it’s only 50% occupied inside. The music sucks. The earlier review about only hearing hip-hop after 11:30 is a farce. They barely played hip hop. At least, nothing current. The DJ played some lame slow song after midnight– Primetime. WTF. Lastly, the crowd. If they were so-called letting all the blacks and asians in, I sure didn’t see them. They were all Dallas Douchbags nonetheless. Waste of a Saturday night, if you ask me.

This«lounge» has one of the cooler lay-outs I’ve seen in Dallas. The first room has a long bar on the other end where I never had to wait longer than 1 minute to get a bartender’s attention for a drink. There are standing tables right by the bar as well, which is nice for those without table service. It also makes it easy to talk to people you don’t know. Bottle service is expensive but the couches are comfy. The dance floor is smaller but not tiny. The 2nd room is the«glass» room, I would say this room is more loungey, the high ceilings are pretty cool. Then there is the patio, I didn’t go out to see it because it was scorching outside. For some reason they make people wait in long lines outside — I guess that’s all places though. To make you think it’s packed. This place didn’t get backed until 11:30−12ish.
