I like dive bars, especially ones with a good mix of food. This is one of them. I work close to here and drive by here everyday, so I finally stopped one night and tried it out during a NFL Playoff game. The crowd was mixed(it always is during the playoffs. with some patrons becoming more… animated than others. IE talking lots of shit), but the service was very good. I was in the mood for pasta on my first visit, and since that’s not typical bar food I didn’t expect much. I tried the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Pasta, and it was delish! It had a great mix of chicken, sausage and pasta so I didn’t feel I was cheated; all mixed in with a creamy sauce. Very, very good stuff. On my second visit I tried Chicken Fried Steak(standard bar food), and it was really good; peppery gravy, a thin(but not too thin) breaded steak. mashed potatoes were whipped and creamy… and the green beans had BACON in them… um yea they were great! The servers and bartenders are great with the locals, seeming to recognize and know a lot of people. Not being a regular I was afraid I’d get short shrift, but no. they gave me great service. My only complaint is on short notice people drop in with soccer teams… WTF? This is a bar, not Chucky Cheese… take your kids to Mcd’s people… not a freaking bar!!! That’s not their fault, although they should limit the ages of people after a certain time. This isn’t a family environment… it’s a bar!!! But still, can’t wait to try more of their menu!

This bar is literally 2 minutes from my house. It has become the preferred«go to» place for my friends and I on guys night out now that Sherlock’s on Central has closed. Although it can get pretty crowded the atmosphere is always laid back and service is usually pretty good. There was one younger dude who shuffled around slowly and seemed to have a real nonchalant attitude… but I haven’t seen him for a while. Their female servers have a great attitude and are super nice. The beer is cold and their food is actually pretty good for a sports bar. They make an EXCELLENT cob salad; their chicken fried chicken is pretty good as well. My only complaint is that the mashed potatoes are always lumpy. But I’m sure that’s because they are made fresh. Their only real drawback for me is the lack of a full-size patio where I can a cigar with my beer.

I came here with a group of friends a few months ago and I’ve been coming back ever since. The food here is great; good variety of sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, southern food, a few Mexican items and great salads which is surprising for a sports bar/restaurant. The tots are the best I’ve had anywhere. The service is excellent every time I’ve been… Seriously. Unlike a lot of sports bars this place is family friendly and all around grand slam!

Wish they did more food specials. We come frequently for watching the game and the menu has just gotten old now that they’ve been here awhile. Buffalo shrimp, burger of the month, etc. Also disappointed they got rid of the VIP club!

Food is good and moderately priced, nothing to die for, but it’s all stick to your ribs comfort food that no one can absolutely dislike.

One of the best bars in the city. Multiple, huge screens to comfortably watch the game. Very decently priced drinks with a great weekly specials menu. A helpful and energetic staff. A menu with food so great that you’ll honestly be surprised that this is «bar food». A large, inviting floorplan that combines elements of dive bars with trendy, modern sports bars. There’s very few better places to go in the city! The crowd is a little older, so be prepared for that if you’re under 30 or so.

They were nice and prices are ok. But what kind of sports bar doesn’t have fox sports?! Pay the extra $ 20 a month to get the full sports package if you’re gonna be a sports bar. Came in, ordered a drink and had I sit here and finish it while I watched the masters instead of the Spurs game. **UPDATE** They reached out to me on here and were pretty rude. Dropping my rating to 1 star. Would’ve gladly upgraded it to 4 – 5 if they’d only been professional and not rude about it. What’s the point?

Terrible service. The bartender basically ignored me and my friend as if our money wasnt good enough. I waited maybe 10 minutes just to get a dollar in change. The wings were good though. Only reason my review was 2 instead of 1 is all the tvs.

This is a happening spot in the neighborhood especially on Thursday nights with 50 cent wings. The chocolate martinis are soooo good! The portions at Sunday brunch are HUGE — not to mention delicious. Give this place a try if you haven’t done so already.

I absolutely LOVE this sports bar! You simply must try the bacon wrapped chicken stuffed jalapeño’s, they’re delicious. I’ve had several other offerings from the menu as well and have been pleased… their burgers are awesome and I also enjoy the tenders with their spicy buffalo sauce. They have many beers on tap that are always cold. The service here is greatness, the staff are friendly, but professional and extremely attentive. I’ve never had any of the signature drinks — my regular, outside of Mich Ultra is Crown and Diet and they pour a good drink, We’ve made it out here for a few games and they never disappoint. Just like any good sports bar, they have MANY flat screens and a couple big screens for your viewing pleasure. They’re always quick to change a TV for me to a certain game that’s on but not showing and for a Cowboys game you just can’t beat the energy. I definitely recommend Go 4 It and they are on our regular rotation.

Good draft selection. Cocktails are hit or miss with nothing really special but it is a sports bar after all. Apps are awesome

Stopped by for a second time. Ordered the chicken fried chicken mashed Ps and Mac&Cheese. All were good except for the Mac&Cheese. DONOTORDER the MAC&CHEESE from Go 4 it Sports Grill. It’s mushy has processed cheese or cheese sauce or something? The beers were good and cold and service was top notch. It was pretty crowded for a random Wednesday. I Highly recommend this Bar.

I am here way too much. Good food, reasonable prices and projection TV’s. It is what a sports bar should be. The«Hog Wings» are pretty tasty.

World Cup time! Time to watch the US! We were over in Mesquite and didn’t want to miss the start of the match, but eventually wanted to work our way back over to the AAC. I quickly checked my trusty Unilocal app to find a close bar to catch the first half. Go 4 It popped up, and off we went. When we got there the parking lot was packed. We got in and it was standing room only. I made eye contact with a waiter, and he came over and told us that this one lady was about to leave and he’d call us over when he gave her the check! Awesome! We grabbed a couple of beers and stood in the doorway area in front of the big bar. The bar is huge with monitors lined in front of both sides. To the left there are a couple of pool tables which were covered with a hard top and used for drinking tables on this day. There are plenty of tables throughout the place with a lot of bar stools lining the outside walls/windows. They even have some seating outside as well, but the televisions aren’t visible from out there. The lady finished her meal, and we stood close by and jumped in the chairs as soon as she left(we stood close, but not too close… we didn’t want to seem pushy and annoying). Once seated, we skimmed over the menu to see what we could find to snack on. We ordered more beers and some chips and queso. Our waiter was awesome. The crowd was so huge and he had so many tables to attend to, yet he managed to cover them all with ease. The chips and queso weren’t that good to me, but my review isn’t about the food. The atmosphere on that day was great, our service was great, the beer was cold, enough said! Whenever I’m in Mesquite, Go 4 It will definitely be the place that I stop and grab a beverage! Real good spot!

I’ll be honest — this wasn’t that great of an experience for us. Came in to watch the first game of the College World Series with TTU vs TCU. Every single TV in the joint is on World Cup, which I get. We asked to change one TV to CWS and it was met with some hesitation. «I’ll ask and see. Maybe just one.» There were only a handful of people in the joint and most of them weren’t watching TV at all, so the hesitation was just weird. But I digress. My husband ordered the nachos for an appetizer and the red chile pork, one of their NM specialties. Nachos were piled high with lettuce and tomatoes, but the beans were really pretty good. Shredded cheese and not cheese sauce, which was also nice. Red chile pork was disappointing as it lacked any real flavor. We had read all of the good reviews on Unilocal about the NM specialties here but this particular one at least just didn’t make the mark. I tried the chicken fried chicken which was crispy and quite good. Green beans were also tasty and the potatoes were okay. Service here was not great. Our server asked us multiple times about ordering drinks or if we were just sticking with water. We don’t drink, so we declined and stuck with water. However, after that, our waiter never came by again despite having very few people in the place. No one checked up on us once throughout our entire meal as our water glasses sat completely empty. When another lady came to clear our table and asked us about dessert or bringing out the check, there was no offer to refill our waters. Check was brought and that was it. We always tip more for good service at a bar & grill since we don’t drink and that’s where the money is. But when you can’t even refill my water and never once bother to check in on us and see how we are doing? Lame. Really wanted to like this place but we won’t return. There are better options out there.

Surprisingly the food at this sports bar is very good. Don’t go in expecting that the food and service is Michelin Star restaurant quality because if you do you are only fooling yourself. However, compared to other sports bars and grills, this joint is fantastic. The food is better then most bar and grill food that you will ever taste. I’ve tried to eat better and the healthy choices at this grill are limited but that’s just my own damn fault. What should I expect when their fried cajun poo boys are top notch and their tots and queso are extra cheesy? I have been on multiple occasions and this time around I tried to be different and ordered«their version of the cobb salad.» It was a very delicious and very healthy choice. The portion was plentiful, the chicken was tasty, and I substituted the dressing for salsa which turned out to be a good choice and provided an added kick to the meal. They have great drink specials and a bunch of tvs for you to watch whatever game your heart desires. I will undoubtedly return again and again. Now go… Eat, drink, and be merry :-)

Ask for Andrew, he’s amazing, and start with the bacon wrapped jalapeños «extra crispy.» I bet they eat these things in heaven! The chicken fried chicken is always perfectly fried and crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside. The«home run chicken» is crawfish étouffée smothering a chicken breast over rice with corn and potatoes. Ask for it spicy and you’ll forget all about that road trip to NOLA.

If you compare my previous reviews of this place to my most recent review you will see that this restaurant is wildly inconsistent, you may get a really good meal, or you may get a truly horrible meal. We have been to this restaurant at least seven or eight times previously, maybe more, mostly for dinner but a couple times for lunch. I want to see this restaurant succeed and I offer my comments as constructive criticism. I actually like this restaurant, or at least I did in the past. Unless there are changes in the kitchen, however, I am afraid that this restaurant will not stay in business. The wife ordered the one-half Philly sandwich with soup, which that day was lobster bisque. The bisque was horrible, no flavor at all, and it tasted like milk or cream that was barely warm. The Philly also had problems. The meat was not seasoned and although it was cut into small chunks, it was tough and chewy. Not good. The peppers and onions had not been seasoned. The sandwich was utterly flavorless, and there was no hot sauce or any condiment on the table. The waitress, who was serving the entire restaurant by herself, could not be flagged down. I ordered the enchiladas with green sauce, which I had ordered many times before and it was my favorite. This time I got it with chicken, which had not been seasoned. The rice and beans had not been seasoned. The entire dish was one dimensionally hot from the green chiles, with no complexity or depth of flavor. To top it off, we informed the waitress that we were pressed for time. She brought the sandwich immediately, but my enchiladas took about 20 minutes, by which time I could only take a bite or two and had to ask for a box to go. At the time we ordered we were the only people in the restaurant, so why it took so long is a mystery to me. Overall, this place seems to have really gone downhill from the first few times we ate here. My wife says she will not return. I may go for a drink, but I too am in no hurry to eat there again. Big improvements need to be made if this place is going to stay in business.
