I’ve been coming here for years, finally in my hometown… Link Basket, extra toast and extra sauce… bring it on!

I always try to give each place I visit the benefit of the doubt. In the case of Good Luck(at this location), I urge you to stay away! I was leaving the Fair Park(visiting museums with my daughters) and foolishly decided to find something close by to dine at. I guess I was thinking this area was«not so bad». I pulled into the relatively clean looking parking lot and I first noticed bars on the windows, I then noticed a strange looking man staring at us in the car, looking so hard I couldn’t help but to NOT want to get out of the car. I thought perhaps he’d walk on by and keep going, but, as I looked around, I noticed a heck of a lot of foot traffic, loitering, a bunch of men sitting under a shade tree playing cards and drinking hard liquior at noon(isn’t that too early?). I hate feeling like this, but, I left, I didn’t even attempt to go inside. I feel strongly that I would have been severely harrassed at best and I would never put my children in any situation that was the least bit strange or unsafe. We were thirsty, but, that had to wait. Even my daughters even noticed the weirdness going on. My eldest daughter said«Momma, that man looks like he wants to do something bad!» That made me feel sick hearing that; I felt bad for even considering pulling into this place. I wasn’t a fool because I didn’t get out to find out what would happen. I left and didn’t have to find out what would have happened. Sorry, this wouldn’t be my choice or «Good Luck». Maybe a different location… maybe.
