Harrell’s Catfish & Jumbo Shrimp Take Home

I went looking to get some catfish Monday and found my usual place «Catfish Connection» to be closed. So I called around because I wanted some catfish really bad. I found this one to be the only catfish place opened on Mondays that I could find. Not wanting to order a lot of food from someplace unknown. I ordered the special. A 5 piece bone-​in fish $ 6.95. Big mistake! It was awful!!! Old fish that was overcooked. Not because it was sitting around, just old tasting fish. And it was precooked and then refried again. Had that potato chip crunch going on. The tartar sauce was mostly chopped onions hoping to mask the flavor of old catfish nuggets. Now I know why it was the only one open. To catch people like me. One star for the pickles and peppers. Save your money and wait for Tuesdays Catfish Connection.
