Good OBGYN, ethical and helpful!!! Hands down one of the best in the DFW! ^_​^ So happy he was able to help with my prolactin issues!!! It feels good knowing that he only helps babies and doesn’t hurt them. +5

Dr. Heckman is fantastic. He delivered our twins very recently. I went to every appointment with my wife. He is attentive, great ethics, and did a great job balancing the mother’s health with our babies. His staff is great, too. If you do not want to be susceptible to waiting, make your appointments early in the day, before multiple unexpected deliveries can push him back too far. We did that and rarely had to wait more than 15 minutes. And we went nearly every week for many months.

Sort of an odd choice for me to review a doctor that my wife went to, but since I hear about the waiting/​unprofessionalism, here we go. We went to Dr. Heckman based on a friend’s recommendation for our first baby, and she would frequently wait over an hour after her appointment time to see him. Granted, he’s an OBGYN so it’s understandable that he is away at the hospital delivering babies, but her most recent appointment was a 2-​hour wait, and the Dr. couldn’t even perform the requested procedure, though his staff said that he could. He’s a nice enough guy, but not sure how dedicated he is to delivering the best service to his patients. Avoid.
