Hollywood Day Spa

Nothing says «fancy» like getting yo nails did by a posh fountain while sipping wine and Michael Bolton is blaring in the background. I like this place. Its spacious and beautifully decorated. Ladies, we all know how hard it is to find a nail salon that does your nails exactly like you want. It is a battle to find. But Hollywood Day Spa won that battle for me and they hooked my hands up. The service was great and I left the building one very happy customer.

I just moved to this area and needed to try a new nail place and this place is amazing! I’ve had an eyebrow wax and gel nails and Kim has done both for me and she is awesome! She really knows what she’s doing and will accommodate for anything you need/​want! If you’re in the area I would definitely try this place, you will love it!

Do not get your eyebrows done here!!!
The lady that waxed my eyebrows did an awful job. She literally waxed my whole eyebrow off! And a day later, I started to breakout. Maybe due to the dirty wax she used.
Also, workers always rush on the manis and pedis.

The best place ever! I’m talking massage while you get your mani/​pedi. Sandy is my nail tech and after moving and not seeing her for 2 yrs, she remembered me! Not only her but everyone did! This place does an awesome job with my eyebrow waxing as well! My advice… Go here now if you want 5 star treatment!

I hate having to give a bad review, but people should stay away from this place.
I was getting a shellac manicure at the same time as my pedicure, and the guy that was assigned to do it seemed to be in a horrible mood. Once my hands had been soaked for a few minutes, he started with the cuticle trimmer, very rough, makes me cringe when I think about it again. He proceeds to cut me, and after I pull my hand away and yell «ouch!» he continues in a hurry. Long story short, he failed to trim, clean, and buff my nails, he went straight to adding polish, he messed up on the shellac application and used his own nail to scrape it off, the UV lamps kept falling off my lap, he didn’t come around to the other side of the chair, he made me reach over to do my opposite hand, he didn’t give me a massage at the end, or even put lotion or oil on my hands.
I have been to plenty of places and know what a decent manicure should be, this was the furthest from it I have ever seen. Manager only have me $ 10 off even though I discretely pulled him off to the side to avoid making a scene, so I am not satisfied with the way he handled my poor service.

I just walked in on a Wednesday night. Becky and Tina did my mani/​pedi. I had the spa manicure, and regular pedicure. It was amazing! They were both gentle with the cuticles (some places have cut me), and the shoulder and arm massage was out of this world. I’ll definitely return, and I’ll ask for these two by name, after reading the other reviews.

Mediocre Work was done on my nails and toes at this establishment.
My «Deluxe» pedicure was a fast pedicure that consisted of a 2 minute rub, some smell-​good cream, and a slap on the feet.
I received French tips on my toes, and the white paint started to chip only after one day.
The owner of this establishment had re-​done my nails after his technician had failed to do somewhat decent acrylic nails. THE TOP OF YOUR NAILS SHOULD NEVER LOOK LIKE A COUNTRY ROAD WITH POTHOLES IN IT!
Needless to say, the owner here didn’t deliver the nails that I wanted either. I went home later that day and soaked off/​removed my ugly nails.
After spending $ 100 here on nails and toes the day I visited, I will never ever come back again to this establishment.

I always get 5 star treatment here. Great gel nails, mani/​pedi, and full body massage. Never had one of their facials so I can’t speak about that but my nails always look great and the place is very clean and sanitary. They also offer complimentary wine while you get pampered so that doesn’t hurt!

There are several nail salons like this in the area and I’m afraid it won’t be my go to place. The prices are much higher and the women rush through your services. My mani/​pedi was fine enough but if I am going to pay more then I expect better service where I feel I am being pampered a bit.

I have been to this specific Hollywood location at least a dozen times (can’t vouch for the other locations as I’ve had some bad experiences at them). This location, however is always friendly, and get you right in (I’ve never made an appt).
I’ve had spa pedicures, manicures, shellac and gel fills, and have had a good experience each time. Their space is comfortable, clean and technicians friendly and efficient.
Prices are reasonable too.

I had been to this nail spa a few times before and was always satisfied, but not this last time. I was having a manicure and I had a cracked nail. I asked her to put something on it to protect it before she put the shellac on them because I knew it wouldn’t hold. She didn’t understand what I was saying so another lady came over and spoke to her in her language and told her what I wanted, still didn’t do it. They assured me that the shellac would be enough to hold it. Of course 5 minutes after I got home, my nail broke and of course the salon was closed when I returned to get it fixed. I had to catch a flight early the next day for a 5 day vacation and I ended up having to go to a salon while on vacation to get my nail fixed. I will not be going back to Hollywood Nails anytime soon.

Very clean, nice staff, they always fit me in quickly. It’s not a high end spa, it’s just a really nice, well kept place with great prices. Very relaxing.

I have to update my review from a while back because things have changed here. The man who owns it has now left his wife in charge of this location and things have gone down hill big time! The business has become extremely slow and I have found her lying to the lady doing my nails by telling her I was in a hurry and needed two people when this was not the case. She did not like the lady that does an incredible job and has the most customers so this was how she handled it. That lady has now moved to another very nice location across the street. I can’t stand when owners mistreat their employees and I quit going to this salon.

Went here two weeks ago for a bikini wax and it was great!!! I recommend going to Jessica, very sweet and hygenic lady. I just moved to Dallas so I got really lucky in finding a place with such a central location.

I like to indulge in a good pedicure and manicure every so often. more often then my wallet would like. especially in the summer
I went here after i moved close by and my other salon was a good hop and skip away in flower mound.
okay as others have said. THE PLACE IS HUGE!!! and really clean and nice. I did not get the deluxe but it sounded oh so relaxing.
the pedicure was done really nice. my toes have yet to show any signs of chipping and I am just returning from a beach vacation.
the manicure was done well also and the paraffin did make my hands smooth. the shoulder and neck massage that’s included is great

This spa is located on the Northwest corner of Beltline and Preston, so the map is off.
I’ve gotten pedis a few times at this location as it is HUGE. I didn’t realize they have 2 banks of pedicure chairs on each side of the room. And then, even more overflow in the back connected part, in front of their bar.
25 for a standard 45 minute pedicure. 40 bucks gets you the deluxe which is an hour and has parafin wax and some other stuff. I haven’t indulged in the deluxe since I always get french pedicure (extra 5) and plus tip, I can’t justify spending over 50 for my feet.
Everything looks clean here and I’ve been happy with each pedicure I’ve gotten. Manicure stations have a small LCD tv at each one, so no worries missing your show. They do offer wine, so kick back and enjoy.

I go here just for nails and brow waxing, so I cannot speak to their other services. The location is very clean and neat, and nearly everyone on the staff is friendly and professional. All of the equipment is new (probably less than a few years old) and the massage chairs are great for working out knots in your upper back. I like the private waxing rooms since I prefer to have no one watch me cringe while my brows are being ripped out. I believe the standard pedicure is around $ 25 and I am usually satisfied with that. They will try to sell you extra services, but they aren’t always necessary. If you politely decline, they drop it. Granted, if you’re a repeat visitor, they will continue to try and sell you more services, but one ‘no’ is usually enough. If you want a splurge, make sure you try the parafin wax on your hands and feet — bye bye callouses! This place prefers that you tip in cash, so stop by the ATM on your way.

In Dallas there are nail salons on every corner. This is one of the good ones. It is huge! Very clean, and I have never waited more than 10 minutes. Good selection of OPI colors. The spa pedicure was very nice, and the manicure includes a great neck and shoulder massage. I will be returning!

This place is huge, and very nice. Televisions everywhere and they have a very pleasant and attentive staff. They offered a drink, I got a water (which was not cold). My pedicure was enjoyable, but I’m not sure it was worth $ 35. She did a nice massage and the hot towels were wonderful, but my heels are not as soft as they should be. It was good overall, but I would try some other places before going back.
