This is about an order placed on their website — not a purchase from a local store. I placed an overnight order for a battery for a medical device for a customer. It was placed 3 hours before the cutoff time for overnight shipping, and the website indicated the battery was in stock. I received an order verification yesterday — but no tracking information. This morning — I checked the order status — still no tracking information. I used the chat feature on their website to contact Customer Service — it took 45 min for them to verify that indeed — the battery had not shipped. Apparently they are ‘working feverishly’ to find out why it did not ship. I am giving them 2 stars, because they have a great website and competitive pricing, which is why I figured I would try to use them as a supplier — if you don’t need your batteries right away — they are probably a good company to use. Interstate Batteries tagline is «Outrageously Dependable». My company actually strives to be «Outrageously Dependable», so, unfortunately, we can’t do business with Interstate Batteries. I take full responsibility for this — it was a mistake on my part to use a new vendor for an important order — and hopefully i will learn from my mistake.
