I stayed here for two months during an internship with a Big 4 downtown. And first of all, let me brag on the commute time: approximately 10 minutes down 35E to downtown. You just can’t beat that for ~$ 800 per month! Now, the management. They were great: always helpful and willing to work with me to make sure I had a great experience while staying with them. Jennifer(the general manager) was exceptional, even making an exception to the age policy for me, because I was 20 at the time. Shelby(hope I’m remembering right) was willing to unlock the room or get me my renewal key, even late at night when the office was closed. The room was clean. Now, for only $ 800 a month I sure wasn’t expecting the Sheraton, but a clean place to hang my hat and clean myself up at the end of a long day. And that’s exactly what I got. There’s a sort of smell around the place, but that’s the other tenants/guests. No bedbugs, no fleas: just a no-frills experience. And the economics: you renew every week. If you’re staying an entire month, you simply sign a form to that effect, and at the end of the month, all taxes are refunded, making the weekly rate $ 200 instead of $ 279. Laundry tokens are $ 1.50 apiece, and you’ll need 2 per load. The laundry room is a sauna in every sense of the word, but it gets the job done. It’s not in the best part of Dallas: a sleepy industrial area. There’s plenty of fast food nearby, and Northwest Highway and Love Field are close by for amenities. If you’re needing a place to stay temporarily near Downtown, look no further: you won’t regret it.
