I ordered my usually panini today at this Jason’s deli which was my first visit since landings job nearby. The counter rep forgot to add my soup(wanted half soup and sandwich combo, maybe she misheard me) and I went back where I was immediately spoken to by a manager without needing to wait at all; she noticed me looking at my receipt. She asked what was wrong and got my soup out to me at no extra charge. Very friendly staff great customer service. The establishment is clean. Will be coming here often as it is walking distance from my job.

I come here almost 3 times a week. They are always quick with your order and if the line is backed up you can always order the salad bar from the kiosk. Their friendly attitude and prompt service keeps me coming back.

Excellent food, FAST service, and the store is impeccably clean. I complimented the worker who cleans the salad bar area how beautifully clean that station is. I am really impressed and sang my high praises to the manager about how clean the salad bar is. Seriously, if you are a freak about germs this place will calm your nerves about that issue. SUPERCLEAN! As far as the food it is delicious. I always order the California Club. So good!

I love Jason’s, but this location is HORRIBLE. I’ve used them for several years for office functions, but the last 6 months or so, they’ve messed up every order. From not including items that were ordered, to coming over an hour late(on multiple occasions), just all around awful service. I’ve given them multiple chances, thinking the issues were just a fluke, but today was their last one. I had to scramble to get breakfast for a meeting after Jason’s didn’t bother showing up for over an hour, even though I called several times to check on them and was told the driver was en route. The manager was completely apathetic about it too. Such a shame that a good company has people ruining this location.

I’m a huge fan of Jason’s Deli. The Amy’s Turkey-O and a cup of fruit always hit the spot. I had never been to this location before but we had to when we attempted to go to the Mockingbird one and there was nowhere to park. On our trip, we found the restaurant to be very clean. The cashier was extremely friendly and pleasant, as was the kind woman who delivered our food. The only misstep we experienced was that DH ordered fruit in place of chips but still received the chips and not the fruit. He didn’t feel like going up and causing a fuss, but I’m sure they would have remedied it had he asked. The salad bar was full and clean. There’s not too much else to say, but this was a good experience for us and we will return to this location in the future.

We been here many of times it’s a refreshing alternative to greasy fried food even tho I always order El pollo Mexicano. Comes with loads of cheese, sour cream, Pico de gallo, grilled chicken and butter it’s still pretty healthy. I always order a side salad cause the salad bar looks so good. Ok now for story time I gave 3 stars instead of 4 because the last time we went there was a hair in the couscous. The manager was very apologetic and compt our meal she exchanged the salad for two soups. Most people would be grossed out by this but not me I’m just happy she took out the couscous from the salad bar. At the same time this was happening there was a Homeless woman who was every smart she came and ordered some chips and loaded up on ice cream and free crackers. The employees didn’t run her off as if she has done it before she wasn’t bothering nobody as a matter of fact I don’t think anyone even noticed she was there. If I was ever down on my luck it’s nice to see Jason’s Deli understands.

What’s not to love about Jasons. I see some 2 and 3 stars and I just don’t get it. The most amazing thing about Jason’s is that it isn’t expensive and it’s always very consistent. I know what I am getting no matter the location. Always the same experience. I have never tried anything I didn’t like. In fact, I am almost certain they have the best french onion soup on the planet. This location gets pretty busy at lunch with the hospital across the street, but there is plenty of parking so just be prepared for a little wait in line.

I’m on a quest for the best Reuben in Dallas. So far, Jason’s is in first place. That’s not to say its fantastic, rather that Dallas isn’t a Mecca for great deli food. But who can argue with a half pound of meat? The sandwich was pretty good but, as another reviewer noted, the bread didn’t hold up very well. Also, it could have used more dressing … a lot more dressing. It took a while to get served even though the restaurant was more empty than full. Our server was nice and helpful. They tend to skimp on the chips which is a bit annoying. C’mon, really? But the soft serve ice cream was delish and the chocolate syrup was thick and full of flavor. While still good, I think that in a town with a burgeoning restaurant population, Jason’s needs to ramp up its game if it doesn’t want to be left in the dust.

In general, I do not find Jason’s deli food to be up to snuff. The bread is dry or flavorless or falls apart too easily. The meats seem overly processed and soaked in nitrates. The bagels don’t even taste right. Even when this particular location is almost 100% empty, it takes them 20 minutes to make what would take any other deli 2 minutes to produce. Combine the poor quality ingredients with the slowness of the staff and the dirtiness of the dining area, and the result is not a restaurant I’d want to spend any time in. Even getting a take out order is so painful it’s just not worth it. Even when the admin person at my office makes the bad call of ordering catering from Jason’s, 80% of the items we receive are not what we ordered, most of the time replacing vegetarian or chicken items with pork or beef. It’s like this chain just doesn’t care!

Love the salad bar… especially, the ginger muffins. Yum! Parking isn’t the best but the business shows it must be good.

I eschew americana and usually chain sandwich shops, but my friend Mark loves their Ruebens and since I was taking him out for lunch, it was his pick. I was suprised to find a really healthy salad bar for a reasonable price, under $ 10 I got a half sandwich too. score! This location is nice in that it’s a bit out of the way, but the lunch rush is brutal.

Great salad bar and drink under $ 10! That’s unheard of these days. The salad bar offers a great range of salad choices and yummy options to build a fabulous salad. You better get there before noon or it’s chaos!

Ive went to better locations, the staff was subpar and there was just something different about this location. I guess since its by a hospital they feel like they don’t have to be service friendly like the other locations.

I am soooo bizzzored. I keep going to the same old places. Including Jason’s. And Jason’s is fairly boring in its own right. I like sandwiches, but I want something worthy of Food Network’s Sandwich Paradise, and while Jason’s is trying desperately to lay claim to the muffuletta, they are not a virtual paradise of sammich stuff. It’s boring. And by the way FN – why’d you focus on Jason’s instead of Central Grocery where the muffuletta was concieved. Did someone slide you a hunny or what?! *Looks at Jason’s suspiciously.* I had the Cowboy Club which is no longer on the menu OR on the chalkboard. If you ask, they will make it for you. I also had the French Onion Soup, which is pretty good. However, in Dallas where you have a million choices for every varitey of food, you really need to step it up a notch. And while Jason’s is fine for a quick lunch it’s not something I crave, or will crave… heck, with Potbelly just down the road I may not even bother.

Typical soup/sammies/salad joint, though Jasons Deli has been in the Dallas market longer than some of the competition. Pretty similar concept to Corner Bakery and Panera. My friend and I went here for lunch one day and we both ordered the salad bar.(me a salad bar? what? never!) it was a little busy so we picked out a table and set our cups and silverware down while we headed to the salad bar. By the time we returned the busser had cleared the table… idiot. The people running the line were fine service wise. I made myself a delicious salad with spinach, apples, and raspberry vinaigrette. I even went back for seconds. The Salad bar was pretty well stocked. They had at least half a dozen dressing, two kinds of cheese, various breads and croutons, fruit etc. They have some yummy chocolate mousse on the buffet as well.

JD doesn’t excite me, but its alright for lunch. I typically get a pollo mexicano potato. You can get the«smaller» potato for a dollar less, and this thing is still huge. Pico, chicken, sour cream, butter, green onions, and cheese come loaded in this bad boy. I normally ask for butter and sour cream on the side and add in jalapenos. Gorging on a huge potato isn’t the healthiest, but I try to do what I can to cut some caloric corners. Although busy, the food is out pretty quick and I have not had any service issues here. In and out for a quick bite away from the office. That’s all I really except from Jasons, and this one gives me just that. If you don’t set your standards too high, then you can’t be disappointed right?

Having lived in a city that knows serious deli(NYC), this is a pale imitation. I have eaten here a couple of times and regretted it. The food just is not good. Salty soups, salty chili, deil meats that are tough or fatty or something. Just not a good deli in my opinion. Still searching in Dallas…

More like a 2.5. just in the flavor department but I guess its ok as a facility, customer service, and options. Its a good location for them, right next to PHD and the heart institute. Lately i’ve been getting the turkey wrap with potato salad replacing the potato chips. for 6.48 $ Kinda pricey. for something that is not that great. Does fill me up though I guess. just doesn’t satisfy the hunger beast. The food there just tastes super blah. I tried the new york yankee and they sure give you a ton of meat but its like a ton of blah tasting meat. Hardly any flavor, its like eating alot of strips of paper or something.(I usually get their salad bar buffet thing. its okk. i guess) Tomato basil soup was good though. its one redeeming factor. even their peanut butter cookie was kinda hard around noon.(I prefer cookies soft and tender, but thats just me)
