Never use this attorney especially if you have a Dallas County minor traffic ticket. Gregg’s customers fail to understand that he utilizes a «loophole» which lends itself to your name listed as a criminal versus appearing on a simple driving record. Though the case for a MINOR TRAFFIC INFRACTION such as speeding, running a stop sign, etc… may be dismissed in CCA1, your name is still reflected on the Dallas County Clerk’s website under the heading «CRIMINAL DALLAS COUNTY FELONY AND MISDEMEANOR COURTS CASE INFORMATION». This information is subsequently used by employers, landlords, creditors in making determinations of what job you get, income, promotion, where you live, extension of credit, etc… PLEASE NOTE: Before the internet and the advantage of easily accessible and available information, there appeared not to be any consequences in how Mr. Gregg conducted his day to day operations. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Mr. Gregg’s business plan, decorum and how he makes his money WILL BRAND YOU A CRIMINAL FOR LIFE. I’ve personally addressed this issue jointly with Robert S. Gregg and Judge Kristin Wade who unfortunately are so immersed in what they’ve done for decades and to thousands of clients, fail to either understand the consequences of their actions, don’t care or it’s simply a financial stream of money and/​or a way to politically maintain a presence in the Dallas County Criminal Court system. RECOMMENDATION: FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHO KNOWS THE ONGOING EFFECTS OF THEIR ACTIONS AND ACTUALLY ABIDES BY THE TEXAS LAWYER’S CREED… which is the equivalent of a doctor’s FIRST DO NO HARM…

If I could give this no stars I would. Back in July I got a speeding ticket. Normally I would just do defensive driving and deal with it. But, I felt this ticket was unfair and was referred to Robert S Gregg through a friend.
I paid $ 75 for them to get this taken care of, with the small chance I may have to appear in court.
January 14^th, 6 months later I get a later saying I need to appear. I go and my person representing me tells me they’ll try to get it dismissed or deferred adjudication at best. Finally she comes back out, and says I owe $ 192.wth?! I paid part of it and called R. Gregg’s office when I got home to discuss some things. I was told he’d give me a call right back in 15 minutes. It was 4:15pm, they closed at 5. It’s now a little over 2 weeks, nobody ever called me back. I will NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I paid them $ 75, for what? I live in Carrollton and had to drive to Fort Worth for court. It was a waste of my afternoon and gas and money. DO NOT hire these people, they don’t care about you.

I would not use Robert S Gregg again. I was referred to their office b/​c I wanted to get my speeding ticket dismissed.
Few things — usually, when I get a ticket I either take defensive driving or appeal in court (and successfully defend myself). This time around I was traveling a lot and didn’t have time to go to court. The ticket had options: defensive driving, deferred adjudication or court.
When called R. Gregg’s office, his assistant on the phone was rude and never explained anything but said that the attorney would go to court and try to get my ticket dismissed. I signed a contract with them, paid a fee and never heard from them again. A few months later, I received a letter from the court saying that my attorney requested deferred adjudication and I had to pay ~$ 200.
Now — I had this option from the minute I got a ticket. Didn’t have to pay an extra lawyer fee to go with this option. I called Gregg’s office to find out what happened. Long story short — Gregg told me that he went to court to verify that my record was correct and asked for deferred adjudication.
Basically, he never even tried to get my ticket dismissed.

I saw Robert Gregg one evening on TV being interviewed about a change in the law. He seemed really knowledgeable so when I got my last ticket, I contacted them to help me. I was assigned Tonya Scott as my attorney. I was a little worried because the City scheduled my hearing so far out but Ms. Scott was very friendly and very responsive with all of my questions. In court you could tell she was a shark and really good at her job. She even got my ticket cleared! I would definitely contact them again.
