I booked 2 hours worth of service off of their website. I had emailed them a few days before I booked them to ask them questions about supplies that they never replied to.
So on the website I wrote in what I wanted to be done. One thing was to replace the tube lights in the kitchen with the tube lights I bought. The day before the appointment someone emailed me to say they couldn’t do that. They said:
” One of the tasks would be above our skill level and insurance coverage. We can handle everything except installing the light in the kitchen. We aren’t allowed to touch electrical with our insurance.“
I guess I can understand that but its just a $ 6 light bulb change. I’m really short and couldn’t reach it standing on a chair. It would have been so simple for a dude to just pop the tube light in.
The day of my appointment Rick came on time. He built my desk in 1 hour. He nailed my Ikea mirror in 25 minutes. He tightened up my leaky shower head. He finished in 1.5 hours. He did leave all the packaging for the desk and mirror in my room.
I paid with a check and he left.

I found this company on a Groupon and I am really pleased with the service and will be using them again! The man that came to my home was early, pleasant and professional. Never, did I feel uncomfortable and he put together everything that I asked him to do. His work was excellent and when he was finished he took the trash away fro mthe items that he assembled. I would and will use them again without a Groupon, because I really liked my expereince. The only thing I thought was odd at first was that the handyman did not have a car; but took the bus. But, whatever; like I said he was early, professional and did a fantastic job!!!
