Great spot the food is awesome anything you order is good. Probably one is the cheapest places to eat in uptown Dallas but that does not affect their quality my family and I enjoy this place very much. «The best brisket enchiladas »

Manny’s Uptown doesn’t look like a big deal from outside but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly and efficient. The menu changed from the first time I went to the second, but it’s a bit less overwhelming now. I had a frozen margarita and it was great. Strong enough that I couldn’t have another and drive home. I had the Enchiladas Arrandas with Charro beans instead of refried. The enchildas were tasty but the piece of flank steak that they put on the top was amazing. I couldn’t stop eating it long after I was full. I gave it 4 starts because even though it’s not fancy, it was a great value for the dollar. We will return!

Excellent. Started with Uptown platter then followed up with the brisket tacos topped off with pralines. Mmmmmm. Marvin was our waiter. Did a great job. Highly recommended.

Standard Tex-Mex, nothing special here. Location is convenient so that’s a plus.

I was excited to try this place but that was short lived! We arrived around 6 pm and were seated promptly. We waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken. I asked if I could substitute the beans for vegetables but was told that was an additional $ 6 because they don’t do substitutions… I received the wrong menu item– I ordered mole chicken, but received chicken with poblano peppers and onions. The chicken was extremely dry and bland. Additionally, it included a side of beans, no tortillas, no rice. The price of this dish was $ 14.95. The server did not apologize for placing the wrong order and never checked back to see how anything was. I wasn’t impressed at all. I would recommend any other restaurant in the area… Mi Cocina is a great place and I wish I would have gone there instead.

I like this location of Manny’s for their sprawling space, quick service, and plenty of weekday specials. I have yet to come here where there’s a wait for a table, and I’ve never had bad service. For a weekday lunch, the entrees are cheap and the service is quick. For happy hour, the specials are good and the bartenders at your service. We loved the Manny’s Uptown Dip — especially once all the items are mixed together. The guac is fresh with chunks of avocado. Although the food is not the best Tex-Mex I’ve had, the service is really above par, and it keeps me coming back.

We went to Manny’s today for lunch, have been there twice before but first time to review. This is a solid, consistent place. Seating is quick, service is always attentive & good. I had the beef fajita nachos, which are a bargain with all the fixings for $ 9. Only suggestion would be to add some pico to the plate. Give them a try!

Brought a few friends here upon recommendation for amazing brisket tacos. Started off with a house marg and I was super excited because I heard so many great things! At the first sip, I could tell it was straight out of a margarita mix you can buy at any store, sour. The chips and salsa are pretty good! My boyfriend and I each finished two bowls because it had a good kick! Chicken fajitas we’re pretty good. Brisket quesedillas though… AMAZING. Enough to warrant a second return. But i wouldn’t bother with the drinks unless it’s on happy hour.

Not impressed with the food. Service was okay. Margaritas terrible. Would not go back.

Ok, I really want to love this place, given that it is right in my north Dallas neighborhood where we are a bit short of great places. That said, I bent over backwards to love it. I will say that the chips and salsa were excellent and the ritas were pretty darn good. My mole chicken enchiladas were a tad dry, but I solved that by pouring some salsa over them. End of the day, I will probably come back but this experience didn’t blow my socks off. Ambiance? Ok. Just nothing super special but ok for someplace close.

I’ve been here twice on Saturday nights over The last two or three months and had no longer than a two minute wait for a table and service great. I had fajitas both times and there was plenty of food to fill me up! They were quite tasty as well. I was told by my date that the margaritas were really good and the atmosphere was pretty good as well. Next time, I’ll expand my selection from the menu but I don’t think i’ll have any complaints! Parking is never a problem and for me, it’s conveniently located.

The best things about our visit was the patio atmosphere, the chips and salsa, and our prompt waiter. The food was«meh». My husband enjoyed the mole sauce, I had the brisket enchiladas, but the meat was in big hunks and pretty dry. The chili con carne on the tamales had a weird after taste. All of our plates had large portions of food remaining on them when we left. There are so many other Tex-Mex restaurants in this area to return.

At last! A great place for Mexican food in Richardson. It’s really beautiful, too, with a charming terrace and — judging from the crowd when I was there — great margaritas. I had sweet tea, made perfectly and served with a fat wedge of lemon instead of a little pinwheel garnish. At least five or six restaurants have gone broke at that location. None were ever there more than eight weeks. It was like a restaurant funeral procession. We didn’t go until we saw the crowds. There was no wait for a table but it was full at four. The food was excellent. The tamale was big with super tender tender masa and chunks of chicken — right out of the steamer. My enchiladas had a rich sauce with a lot of flavor instead of heavy chili powder thickened with flour. My waiter was attentive and immaculately dressed. The chips were blah, but I’ve been to too many places with irresistible chips and so-so food. The rice was only ok. Still, it was a wonderful dining experience. Prices on dinner plates started at $ 8 but most were $ 11 to $ 15, margaritas start at $ 7. With tea my check was $ 10.50 but food and service were very good — I gave my waiter $ 15 and told him I didn’t want change.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! Waste of time and money!!! Did not honor«Happy Hour» prices, slow service, and order was wrong. Didn’t even attempt to make it right or make me happy.

Service was slow and the quality of the meat was subpar. My wife and chiles shared the«steak» fajitas. The steak was not skirt or flank like you’ll find in most Mexican restaurants. It was round steak. We own a butcher shop so I can tell you, this saved the restaurant 3 whole dollars/pound. The meat was tough — as you’d expect and lacking flavor — also as you’d expect. We’ve eaten here in the past and found it to be acceptable if not good. But this choice to save a couple bucks lost you a customer!

Customer Service A+++++ THe food was your typical Mexican food combos. But very tasty and came out very fast! This is especially important if you only have 45 minutes for lunch. THe waiter always kept our glasses full and you can’t beat free chips and salsa! I will make this one of my workday lunch places for sure. Keep up the excellent work.

Manny’s is wonderful. I used to be a MICO girl all the way. But the quality of the meat in the steak fajitas hasn’t been great the last few times I’ve been there. Manny’s is across the street and has much more consistent quality of food. The frozen margaritas are perfection. The price is comparable, if not less. It’s a great standby for casual tex-mex.

I love this place! The Stefana plate is my absolutely favorite! The margaritas are good not amazing but very good. All food is fantastic! True Tex-Mex. I love the potion, I wish the indoor seating was a bit better.
