Went for drinks and dinner and the waiter Sebastian sucked! Took 20 mins to get chips and salsa, no refill on waters, finished plates he cleaned up 30 mins after we were finished. Asked to speak to manager, and he said«I’m sorry» he looked more scared than a thief getting caught.

We got there early and it was quiet and awesome. Skinny margaritas are good, of course we got the queso and quac. By the time we left the place was packed and full of families so go early.

If you want to be underwhelmed, you’ve found your place. This chain used to rock when Mico was involved, it is a ship without a captain now. I just picked up a lukewarm to-go order, drove home and it was wrong. No order of guacamole and the more terrifying part was the flour tortillas on my wife’s Mama’s Tacos, which I heard about for 45 minutes. I paid $ 50 with TIP for to-go, call back and the manager says… are you sure they are flour tortillas? I am a gringo… but I know corn from flour Cabeza Loca! It’s a shame that they messed up such a good and well run local chain. RIPMICOCINA.

Cheerful, well managed facility. Excellent service. Great drinks. The food is acceptable, not spectacular. We go there because it is close by and we like the people who work there. Great place for children. As a vignette of the restaurant: we were there on a Thursday night and the place was packed. The manager came to our table and let us know that there would be a delay in getting our food because the kitchen was swamped. We appreciate that we were told what the situation was, instead of waiting and not knowing what was going on. That was a very smart way of dealing with a difficulty.

Me and my Man stopped by on 9÷27÷15 for a late lunch. I ordered the fish taco and they were great. He got the Carne Asada he ordered it Medium but it was served Well done. That’s unfortunate because it looked like it was a descent piece of steak. But being over cooked it was dry. He didn’t send it back but we probably will take another hiatus from visiting Mi Cocina for awhile because the prices are such that you expect to at least get what you order.

We came here solely for the fish tacos. Here is the result: This place is like a day care center. Kids everywhere, especially in the outside patio. Very noisy. Had dinner in the bar area where there were no kids. Fish tacos: Very generous portion of fish(tilapia), 3 corn tortillas filled with fish. The serving was so huge that I could not finish all. The fish was either grilled or whatever, but it was not breaded and fried, which is good. The only problem was that the fish was covered in ranchero sauce. At first it seemed OK, but then it was not. This is not authentic Mexican. $ 14.00 Chips were good(crisp but not greasy). Salsa was spicy hot, and they didn’t have a mild version. We asked for a milder salsa, but all they could produce was some warm ranchero sauce(not good on chips). Side salad(cabbage) and avocado were good. Slightly green rice was excellent. Go again? Eh, maybe. If I do go again(with a friend), I’ll order one fish taco meal plus a couple extra sides like beans, rice or other veggies. I’ll ask to leave off the ranchero sauce.

We eat here monthly because it’s convenient. It’s overpriced and there is definitely better tex-mex out there. Strong drinks but they are pricey too.

Mi cocina gets one star from me because no stars is not an option. Absolutely horrible service. I’ve been to this restaurant over 20 times in the last six months because it’s close to my house. Over all the food and drinks are okay but the service and managment is terrible. I tried them For the last time tonight… I’ll drive the extra 2 miles to la hacienda

Mi Cocina I’m not your biggest fan for Mexican food, actually you’re probably one of the last places I would go to have fajitas or enchiladas however that should be expected from a chain restaurant, it’s all bland, no real love to the making of the food however it’s not bad, don’t get me wrong. Staff is very polite, good fast service overall, no complaints there. The inside always looks very clean, so that’s a plus. Takeout however… yeah I dread of the day I have to take another takeout from here. It’s slow, understaffed and my order has been wrong on more than one occasion.

My girlfriend and I ordered the shrimp brochette and ribeye fajitas(Med Rare). While we had fast service as we walked in the door, we were quickly mistaken on how good the service was going to be after 25 minutes had passed by, none of our food was coming out. Another 10 minutes and still nothing. Our server, whoever that was, was running around like a mad man. No sort of management was detected. The manager even gave us a glance at our table but decided to keep talking to the guests surrounding us. For someone in the service industry, this was a terrible experience and embarassing for the business.
