I loved this place! A friend and I went to play pool and we loved the environment. The beer is cheap and the food is really good. Its an old fashioned bar with very cool waitresses, music and atmosphere! Highly recommend !

This place is awesome! Cheap drinks and good cheap food! I found it on Unilocal and decided to try it. It’s one of those places that hasn’t changed since it opened in the 80’s. Really nice staff, pool tables, darts and games. The bartender pours strong drinks and the chef knows how to cook a mean burger(that’s what I ordered). Make sure if you get the burger and you are really hungry you ask for an extra patty because it’s only 1/3lb. Enjoy!

Absolutely love this place! We had just been rejected from a previous bar that wouldn’t allow service dogs but We knew Milo’s would welcome him and they did!!!

It’s hard to give 4 stars to a dive bar, but it’s a great dive bar. The burgers and fries here are really good. The atmosphere makes you wonder when they last dusted — or when the Christmas lights became part of the year round décor. But it’s a great bar, with a great personality that serves some nice potent cocktails, by some friendly bartenders.

Got the tuesday lunch special for under 8 dollars. Chopped steak with brown gravy butter corn garlic bread and lyonnaise potatoes. Omg it was sooo good. Like a real home cooked tv dinner lol. Old retired regulars during the day and hot smu girls at night.

Great spot for beers, pool and watching the game. Came to hang out with a few friends on a sat night. Cheese fries hit the spot.

Nice service I will say that but they barely have a patio area and the inside looks like a run down bar from the 70s and not in a good way. For some odd reason there are a lot of young college kids that gang out here so it’s actually really hip seemingly but just not fit me.

We were looking for a place to catch some College Football around the SMU area last Saturday and we ended up here! The service at this great little hole in the wall was AWESOME! Our drinks were never empty! Their pricing is great for the area and they make some mean cocktails! I would say that Milo’s is the type of place that has a ton of regulars! But even as the new guys we felt welcome and had great service! Also, we had to try the cheese fries!!! If you go there, you have to too!!! They are the perfect amount of cheesy goodness(we added bacon and jalopenos too)!! Great place to day drink!

As dive bars and vibe bars go, they have both: a fine vibe and good dive-y atmosphere.

I absolutely love this place. Cheap drinks, great food, several tV’s for games, close to SMU if you miss that college life, overall great décor great people and great atmosphere. My favorite bar in DFW hands down! If you are looking for a club, not the place

Don’t let the darkness intimidate you ~ this is a typical seedy-feeling pool hall, but the cold beer and delicious bar food make you feel as warm and cozy as a mother’s womb.

So, I’ve been here more times than I would like to admit, but not by my choosing. I always seem to end up here because of friends, or SMU law’s bar review back when I was still in law school. I never understood the popularity of this place. It’s not divey, it’s just dumpy! The place is disgusting inside, really really outdated, and smells. It could use a good renovation, especially the ladies room. The drinks were never good(or really that cheap…). And then you have to deal with the SMU kids. Seriously way better places to go, unless you like the really douchy frat boy/sorority girl crowd. Also not a great place to go if you’d like to see some diversity. Even Kung Fu on its worst day has a better crowd on Milo’s best day. Pass!

Good place to meet friends for a beer or a pitcher for happy hour! They have a patio if you want to sit outside! The service staff is friendly and checks back often. They also have darts and pool tables as well as a kitchen if you had a few too many drinks and need to fill up. The atmosphere is laid back which makes it a great place for SMU students, young professionals, and baby boomers. An all around great hole in the wall bar for a few drinks at the end of a long week.

So its very much a divey place but thats why I like it! Everyone knows each other. Very cozy spot but at the same time has a few foosball tables, pool, darts and lots of TVs, so plenty to do. I think I have found my new favorite spot!

Full of frat-douches and good ol boys. Staff looks at you like you’re inconveniencing them when you order a drink. The worst.

Such a cool college bar… dark, cool and cheap beer — what’s not to like? The bartender was hilarious and totally engaged us in conversation. Great place to watch the game and enjoy a cold beer. I am imagining I would not like it as much on a crowded weekend night amongst college kids though.

By the look of the parking lot i thought the place would be slammed. We paid $ 5 to park down the street. We walked in on nfl playoff day at game time and to my surprise there were plenty of tables and or bar stools available. Saints game on tv(check). Golden tee game(check). Rumplemintz(check). No smoking(check). Club sandwich(check). GOODTIMES(check mate). Two ninja bartenders covered the entire place. And it’s big. Cudos to them for staying on top of everything. We we’ll be back.

It’s a dive bar, right next to a college. The Dude works the front door. The drinks are cheap and strong; the darts, pool & foosball are cheap and functional. The patio is a little small and tends to get overcrowded, but it’s rare that the whole bar feels crowded. It’s dimly lit, and a little dingy but the bartenders are friendly and fast. I’ve literally never seen them get behind, and I go here at least once a week. So if you can take yourself(and your bar) a little bit less seriously, you can have a great time here. And remember, the Dude abides.

The atmosphere of Milo Butterfingers reminds me of the quote from Vince Vaughn in Swingers, «You’re so money, and you don’t even know it.» Just a fun, fun, unpretentious environment. Cheap drinks and amazing bar food. Here’s a tip… go during the day for lunch. Daily specials that are slap your momma good(well, don’t actually slap her… you don’t want a family violence case or thing. lol)

I love this place it’s a simple low key type of place. You can post up inside or out and it has a great vibe. I’ve had a fantasy football draft here & they were extra accommodating to all our needs. The place is pretty large inside with plenty of televisions to watch all your favorite games. The beer is cheap and they have great drink specials with an eclectic group of patrons. I have tried the cheeseburger which was pretty damn good. The fries were thick cut and above average. I will tell you that this is another failed WP hot spot. I know the WP enjoyed the food but she brought no luck for the cowboys game. The best thing to do now is future games remove the WP from ruining more cowboys games. I will definitely go back it’s always a great time.
