This is seriously the BEST phở in town. I’ve been trying so many places for phở, but come back for this one every single time. The manager here is nice and friendly as well. Very helpful. The decoration is very cute and cozy. I love this place!

Great little hole-in-the-wall, with nice furnishings. Several Asian beers on-tap. Parking may be tough. We had several menu selections, all were good.

Gotta say the BBH has gone down in quality. Tried it several times and was sad to find it was rather bland tasting now. :(overall, still a decent, cute vietnamese place.

Just Ordered Grilled chicken bun(vermicelli) via DoorDash. It was just OK. I didn’t like the fact that they used dark meat on it. Sauce was a bit bland and not enough of it and couldn’t get more since it had been delivered. I paid $ 1.50 extra to get the egg roll which was very tiny and burnt. :-(Second try for this restaurant and probably won’t go back since there are so many really good Vietnamese places around. So I had to add… first time ever I did not finish a vermicelli dish. Very very bland.

Love this sweet place. I like that it’s quaint and authentic but upscale. All the dishes look and taste exactly like they did when I was growing up. I’m Vietnamese so it’s legit! The owners are very accommodating when I needed something they were quick to respond! I’m excited to see the next project they have in store!

Enjoyably warm and cozy place, great service, and with a perfect casual-chill vibe as if you’re eating at someone’s beach home. Add this to the fact that there’s a dearth of good establishments serving traditional Vietnamese cuisine inside the LBJ loop, this place should easily be a winner for Dallasites. Granted, the menu isn’t as large as some of the Vietnamese places in Garland — but this will certainly do. Also, a lot of the names of the dishes in the menu were unrecognizable to me since they were written in English and I’m accustomed to reading the names in Vietnamese. But the waitress helped. Lol. What the menu lacks, the place makes up with the hearty healthy portions, freshness, and quality of the ingredients. Perusing the Unilocal reviews, I figured that this is the place to try the Mi Quang and the Bun Bo Hue. Upon arriving, I was notified that they stopped serving Mi Quang, unfortunately. But at least, it made it easy for me to pick my order. My dining companion had vegetarian tofu phở where the phở broth is also vegetarian(which is not exactly common). While my Bun Bo Hue doesn’t have pork feet in it(you’d have to go to the Vietnamese place up on Campbell in Richardson for that), the broth flavor was delicious as there were tender pork and its fat melded in with the savory and spicy broth. They were also able to accommodate to make this soup not too spicy for my taste. Additionally, the soup has plenty of healthy greens that it felt like a healthy meal. The vegetarian tofu phở is no different in respect that the portion were well-sized, and that it consisted of a good and healthy broth and greens. The only difference is that, besides a tofu, the soup was chock full of vegetables, which I thought was a nice surprise. I would be more than happy to return to this place and sample some more of their offerings — and maybe even bump it up an additional star. But as it stands, it’s already by far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to inside Dallas proper. SERVICE: Attentive FOOD: Good quality and quantity PRICE: Reasonable, not pricey ATMOSPHERE: Cute and cozy beach cottage

Cold weather? Phở on deck! After leaving a volunteer event, I searched and found this little gem. Had the most delicious Meatball Phở and Crab Wontons that I’ve had in a long time. Lots of food, lots of flavor, lots of belly filling greatness. We went on a Sunday afternoon so if you’re looking for a quiet spot to eat and have conversation or even get some work done, this is the spot for you. Not crowded at all and plenty of space.

I came here with my boyfriend because we wanted to get some food nearby and happened to see such a cute Vietnamese restaurant and had to try it out. The interior décor is so cute and lively. We were the first to dine and the lady took us to our table and got our orders. This was after she kicked us out earlier because we walked in 5 mins before opening. She didn’t allow us to come in until it was exactly opening time. EGGROLLS The egg rolls were okay. There were no bold flavors that stuck out to me. It was just the typical egg rolls that you could get anywhere. The nuoc mam was disappointing though. It lacked that strong pungent flavor that makes our Vietnamese food so amazing. BUBOHUE– spicy beef noodle soup, with beef shank, steamed pork roll, red cabbage, and fresh herbs The presentation was beautiful. The interesting thing is, most places I go to to eat bun bo hue would have a separate dish for the veggies for you to put in yourself, but at this location they already place the cabbage into the bowl for you. The bowl looked real appetizing when I got it and I immediately tried the broth. The flavors was not horrible, but they were nothing special. The broth tasted a bit less seasoned to what I’m used to and did not have that true Vietnamese authentic flavoring. Another thing that bothered me was the spice. I can eat spicy, but dang! It was burning my lips off. BOLUCLAC– shaken filet mignon with watercress, jasmine rice, sauteed red onions, bell peppers, and chile lime dipping sauce My boyfriend’s dish was better than mine. His filet mignon was very tender and seasoned very well. The rice was cooked perfectly and the lime and tomatoes added some nice acidity to the dish. The onions and bell peppers added some nice crunch and when everything was combined into one bite. it was perfection. I wouldn’t be coming back to be honest and it’s really been awhile since I came here. The flavors are lacking and I really wanted to try what kind of BBH Dallas had to offer and if this is the best they got then they really need to step up their game.

Whenever I can find a vegan phở on a menu I seek it out. The broth is good.(Pretty heavy on the raw onion for my taste.) Tofu is good, not too large for the bowl. I would love a little more richness to the base, but beggars can’t be choosers. My husband raved about the pork ban mi. And we love that there’s a kids menu, because unlike other places, these bowls aren’t really big enough to share.

The portion size was decent for to-go. I have them 3 stars for slow service. The meat 5 spice pork was very flavorful but thin and tough. Overall good. This should have been a lunch price because it is lunch portion when you order Togo. And they forgot my peanuts on my rice vermicelli bowl.

So. I would give this place 4 stars for their phở and 2 stars for their bubble tea. We stopped by here because we were on our way to Top Golf. I ordered phở combination and it was delicious. The broth was really tasty and the serving is big. The best part of their phở though is the MEATBALLS! I swear their meatballs are the best I’ve ever had! Usually, the meatballs I tend to get from phở places are frozen. Their is definitely not. It was so flavorful, had I known, I would have only ordered phở with meatballs! Trust me on this! On the other hand, their bubble tea sucked so bad. DONT get their bubble tea! #1 the tapioca balls were so hard when I got it. I literally couldn’t even chew it. It was so gross. I wasted money because I didn’t want to be the rude person to throw away a smoothie. #2 they use powder, not real fruits. So don’t expect the taste to be flavorful either. Seriously you can’t go wrong with this place, though. I can’t speak for their other foods but their PHO and their MEATBALLS are to die for! The inside is really clean, too!

I was one of their first customers when they opened this location in Preston Center. I started off with the spring rolls worked my way into the noodles and never looked back. It has always been fresh and the service has been pretty consistent also. They’ve changed management quite a few times early on but seem to continue to do a great job. I wish these guys would run a certificate in Premium Passport and really get the word out to the Park Cities. I could see this place really blowing up! Keep up the good work fellas! Hopkins

Got the food to go Ordered Phở– w/rare steak I liked that they kept everything separate and they gave me extra herbs and sprouts at my request The broth was cold when I got home so I had to reheat it to «cook» the steak But they gave EXTRA steak More than I’ve ever gotten anywhere else And it was all tasty I wish they gave a little more plum and sriracha but luckily I had some at home The spring rolls were good but wrapped so tightly in plastic wrap that I had a hard time unwrapping them and they fell apart but tasted good I like their food Def recommend eating there as opposed to take out

I feel like this is the best phở restaurant I’ve been to in Dallas. Super clean. Super cute. Food was good. Like, really good and fresh. I’m for NorCal— home of the phở. Lol. This is about as close as I’ll get to it. Delicious. Check it out.

The food and service was what you could expect at a Asian style restaurant… The interior was hip but the chairs were uncomfortable. Specifically to the food — fresh and tasty. Service — very nice and prompt.

First Vietnamese restaurant I’ve tried while 1st time in Dallas. The décor is super cute and very different from any Vietnamese restaurant. Ambiance great. The food tasted authentic but much pricier than the average Vietnamese. Everything was good!

Good food & great service. The combination Phở had spicy, richly flavored broth with lots of tender meats. Perfect dish for a cold, rainy day. The crispy noodles with vegetables was also good, but next time I’ll ask them to not dust the veggies with black pepper(my least favorite spice). The broth/gravy in this dish was a perfect compliment to the crispy noodles. The shrimp & pork dumplings were outstanding! I shall return

Cute and quiet restaurant off of Preston center. I actually really appreciate having an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in this area. The chicken pha was excellent. The chicken breast was tender and yummy. The noodles in the broth were excellent too My boy had the chicken fried rice. It was ok, but certainly not as good as the soup. I’m looking for to returning and trying other thing on the menu.

Miss Chi should be applauded for its nice interior décor and pretty friendly service, as well as the small details they put in your dining experience. However, phở wise, your standards should not be too high. Miss Chi is located on a stretch of Dallas with a bunch of other real nice looking restaurants(namely Hopdoddy’s, My Fit Food, Jimmy Johns etc.) Walking in, you will notice that this place is decorated very different from other, more traditional, Viet/phở restaurants. Things look clean and fashionable… even cute(I avoid admitting that I think things are cute… BUTTHEYARE!!!). Ambiance is great, and you are welcomed by nice friendly servers. I ordered a combination/beef brisket phở(one size… unfortunately), and a set of pork/shrimp spring rolls. Positives first, their spring rolls were VERYWELLDONE. Some of the best I’ve had. They had avocado in them, and the peanut sauce was superb. I didn’t taste the pork/shrimp as much, but their size made up for it. The phở I ordered had well cooked meat. The phở noodles were well done and didn’t feel too cheap(although when we got the bowl, the phở noodles were clumped together… which makes me think they just dumped a block of noodles in there and didn’t really cook it… not sure how phos are cooked but regardless the phở noodles were fine). The beef brisket was nicely done and cooked to a good level. The downside of the whole place is that the phở is honestly not that great. Yes, i said the noodles and beef were well cooked, but the broth it came in tasted watered down. I felt like I was drinking water as I sipped on the soup. This makes me feel tricked as I paid a good 9 bucks for that bowl of phở. Secondly, the bowl is only one size. At other places I’ve been to, the size I bought here would be a «regular», and usually they would not cost more than 7 dollars. Most of the time, I could even upgrade to a «large» or «extra large» for an additional dollar or two. This place had no such option and I felt like the portion size was not as large. Unfortunate… :( My friends ordered the milk tea here, which I tried. I have to say I really enjoyed the flavor! I usually refrain from getting such drinks from these kinds of restaurants since I feel like they water down a lot of the milk teas, but I feel you should give them a shot! In all, real cute/chill place, but not the best(although NOTBAD) phở.

Very cute décor and great service too. I had the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl and my husband had the chicken phở. I made the mistake of not being specific about wanting white meat only and ended up with mostly dark meat and a weird cut. My husband was very pleased with his phở — he asked for white meat only — however, he was disappointed that they were out of baguettes. Apparently they only order enough for the daily lunch rush. There was a nice list of cocktails, but be sure to ask the price as the menu doesn’t list them.
