Called in today to talk about meal planning and a possible partnership between this location and my employer as part of our wellness program. Shane the manager was unbelievably rude on the phone — couldn’t answer any of my questions, tone of his voice was hostile, curt in his responses and hung up on me. Literally. Never been a MFF participant and now never will be — not for myself or my employer. Unbelievable.

I loved the concept, I loved the food I hated How much money We trashed due to inaccurate expiration dates and food that Spoils 4 – 3 days before the date stated. Me and my husband paid over $ 800 almost $ 1000 and was given food for 5 days, but by day 4 – 5 the eggs in the breakfast got Soggy and rotten and the fresh fruit in the oatmeal(the strawberries) got mold on them. I got food poisoning from chicken going bad and some of the dishes have way too many condiments that prevent you from tasting the meat. I wish it wasn’t that«sales» Driven and instead more«customer service oriented». At the end we decided we would return 3 days worth of meals Since we got Sick from one and boy did we get a lil attitude … Um hello we paid nearly 800‑1000 and we can’t return our meals and exchange for healthy fresh ones? At the end they agreed and said this should be the«last time» they take our food back… Um sure, this will be the last time we place a foot here too if that’s what $ 1000’s buy me… Attitude, not fresh food and selling me a bag for $ 6 to put our meals on when in other locations they are free!

This is the place to be if you are trying to start your year off right! They have tons of pre packaged meals that are all healthy and natural and no preservatives! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and he explained to us how most of it works, and let’s you know you can customize your meals according to what you’re trying to do body wise. They even have a someone you can speak with just to assess your goals and build you a meal plan free of charge. He told us about the 21 day plan I want to do it but it’s not too budget friendly. For now I will stick with the occasional weekly meals and go from there.

The two star rating is for their customer service which is nonexistent. My daughter had bought from them and told me I should try them. They are perfect for me. I am widowed so don’t keep a lot of food around and am trying to lose weight. The food is mostly good. I do have a problem that most of the harder vegetables are still hard as a rock after cooking. My issue is with packaging. They have a snack with apples and almond butter. On the web site and on the packaging it says 60 calories. I noticed that the package of almond butter is clearly marked as 200 calories. I called the store and let them know and they just ok. I called customer support and was told to leave a message and someone would call me back. It has been a month. Not sure when they plan to call back. The last time I went in to pick up meals they either were all marked with the same day as sell by or more disturbing someone had taken a marker and covered up the sell by dates. I want to keep using them, but would really like for them to at least pretend like they care when there is a problem or answer when a customer calls.

We are loving the convenience of picking up healthy meals. Most of the meals are delicious. I suggest the smaller portioned meals eaten soon. My husband loves the salmon. We have tried all dinner meals. We are picking up 6 – 8 per week at a reasonable cost but ask how to cook.

Can’t be more disappointed with a company than I am with My Fit Foods. I used to be a huge fan as their meals helped me trim down and maintain a healthier weight. My disappointment comes from 2 areas. One — there is never any food on the shelves. Yes, they may open at 8 am, but there is nothing to buy. In fact, the delivery fan generally arrives by 8:15, but even by 11:30 am, there is nothing to purchase. The second is their change in menu items. Gone are many favorite meals, replaced by fancier named new creations with up to 800 more calories per meal. That’s right — in some case double the replaced meals calorie total. IMHO My Fit Foods has grown past it’s roots and has lost focus on what is was.

I visited the MFF Store on Royal Lane a couple of weeks ago to see about signing up for their meal plans. A friend of mind had lost 20 rather quickly on their plan. Sounds like an easy way to eat healthy and lose some weight. The first problem I encountered was the number of meals that include nut products, to which I am highly allergic. But the employee with whom I was speaking assured me that they could work around that because there were so many options. So I made an appointment to pick up my first round of meals the following Monday. When I got there on Monday, nothing was ready for me. They hemmed and hawed around making excuses and finally put together a set of meals for the next four days. I had to ask about snacks, which I knew they had, but they never mentioned or offered. So I grabbed some myself. The meals are edible but nothing to write home about, although my friends likes the food. I went back on Thursday ATMYAPPOINTEDTIME and again, nothing was ready for me. This time my «counselor» or whatever they’re called was not there, and the two guys who were there of course blamed it all on her. I mentioned that I am allergic to nut products, and one of them said«all our food has nuts.» I said that was impossible since I had been eating it for four days. They both just stood there staring at me, not offering to do anything, until I finally walked out in frustration. Sunday I called to speak to the manager, and he was one of the two guys I met on Friday, who had been absolutely useless. After I explained how frustrated I was with them, he promised to take care of things and send me an email with my meal plan before the end of the day. THEEMAILNEVERCAME. THISSTOREDOESNOTDESERVETOSTAYOPEN. I would give them ZERO stars if I could.

When I walked in, this place smelled like a vitamin store. Ok, so they sell supplements, but it was a little overpowering and it made me think twice about getting a meal here. I did however buy some breakfast burritos, chicken fettuccine alfredo, and some carrot cake bites. Yuck! If eating My Fit Food meals is right, then I just don’t want to be right. If food prep is a problem for you, I can maybe see why you might want to eat these cardboard meals. However, it won’t take you that much longer to grab a healthy cookbook and prepare your meals for the week. You would save so much more money.

I’ve been eating the snacks and lunches for several days now. I think it’s a wonderful service that they offer. The food is fresh, healthy, and convenient. So glad I heard about it. I’m always greeted warmly when I go in. One of these days I will do the 21 day challenge. If you are looking for a true gourmet experience this isn’t it. If you are looking to revamp your eating and transition to a healthier lifestyle then this is your place. I have enjoyed all the items chosen, especially the tuna wrap. Thank you My Fit Foods for everything you do.

Went to experience this place with a friend. Had a free coupon. It is small place, with the food in packaged options in a fridge by the checkin desk. We picked out two options. You can eat there or take it home. There are some microwaves available to nuke the food there. It was not good. No flavor or seasoning and nothing to season with on the table. The dishes we chose were the Beef Stew and the Almond Crusted Chicken. None of the veggies in the stew were cooked and the meat was terrible. The first piece of chicken in the other dish was ok, but the rest tasted like it was not done and left some weird taste in my mouth. I would not recommend it unless you like to pay a lot for uncooked bland food. We ended up leaving most of the food in the trash and went to another chicken place that gave us a satifying lunch.

So generally, I eat healthy. I shop local, I buy fresh ingredients, and I cook at home. Today though, I received a coupon for a FREE My Fit Foods meal! What is this? A concept of healthy, balanced, gluten-free, blah blah blah meals that they make for you(and claim are flavorful… read on)?!? Crazy! Of course I had to try it. First, went to the store, and it’s basically a couple fridges stacked up with t.v. dinner boxes… filled with freshly made food. Couple counters with the next great super amazing granola bar. Not much to it. The sales guy was nice and explained things, etc. I got a meat combo that came with meat, mashed yams, and green beans. Overall? We ended up ordering Chinese. And the Chinese was awesome!(review coming soon) There is no flavor, no seasoning. The meat was stacked on the yams, stacked on the veggies, so they were all kind of a mush together. I took it out of the container and cooked it on a plate, but even then, the food didn’t taste any better. And the price? Sure, my first box was free. But I had to buy one for my significant other! ITWASFREAKING $ 10. WHATINTHEFREAKINGWORLD?!? Ugh… I’m frustrated with this place, because of a couple things: a) I can cook great tasting, healthy, gluten free, blah blah blah food at home. And it tastes awesome(seriously. It does) b) I can cook at home for less than half the cost. For $ 10/meal? Let’s make it organic. c) If I’m going to spend $ 10 on a pre-packaged t.v. dinner that is «healthy,» it better be worth it. And this place falls WAY short of anything close. So I guess if you have no other options or just plain lazy, then this would work. But for me, I enjoy cooking, I enjoy making love to food(ya know… in the good way), and I don’t like companies that are«doing it wrong.» Wouldn’t recommend it.

I am visiting from Austin. In Austin, the my fit foods stores are awesome!!! I went to this store on Royal tonight. The stock levels were pathetic. and most items were set to expire within two days. In the Austin stores, there is usually plenty of fresh items with an expiration date of 4 – 5 days away. I have a fitness group discount card from Austin, that I was told cross applies to all locations. The young man at the counter politely explained to me that they were a FRANCHISE and that they don’t take corporate discount cards. He went to talk to the manager, who was in a social visit, who declined to honor the discount. I could handle that. But the manager just looked across the room and sneered at me, and did not even extend the courtesy to come explain. This is very rude behavior as my fitnessfood customers tend to spend $ 100s of dollars a month on their product. I will not EVER go to this location again and will tell all of myfitnessfood friend to be WARY of FRANCHISELOCATIONS!.. They really do suck…

I really love this concept and convenience of being able to eat healthy without the time and labor in the kitchen. The meals are full of flavor and portioned. The only complaint? The cost. High dollar stuff. Ouch. I can eat out for this price or really think about cooking at home. Other than that, they ALWAYS have food in-stock and and a huge selection.
